I am very disappointed with this experience. I was referred by a friend to have my lashes done for my wedding. I went in for a consultation with the owner and her son. They acted very enthusiastic and capable. They said I had strong lashes. They went back and forth with what they would do for me. When I went back the next week, the son, Colton, did my lashes. It did not seem like he was doing the length they had discussed and he said he was using a new process on me. It was as if we had not had a consultation. When he finished, I asked him if they were like we talked about- long and thick enough. He said yes and that was the best he could do with my lashes. When I went to pay, I asked his mom, the owner, if she thought they looked good. She said yes. I asked if she thought they were like what we had talked about. She said yes as she walked off. The original care and enthusiasm was gone. The lashes did not look fabulous at all and they started to fall out only a day or two later on the left eye. I went back today to talk to them. The left eye didn't hold at all and the right eye doesn't look much better. Colton made excuses about he did what my lashes could handle. It cost $240! I asked them to give me a $100 back, but they would not. He said the sign said No Refunds. He said he would do new lashes. Why would I want to lay there for two more hours to be dissatisfied and brushed off? So, I'm posting here. I've never done this before, but I want people to be aware. Go somewhere else. read more

I got my eyelashes permed here for the first time. I usually get eyelash extensions, but I wanted to try to enhance my natural lashes this time. The girl who permed my lashes was very helpful and took the time to explain to me every step of the process while she was working. My perm only took about 30 to 40 minutes because my eyelashes are very thin, but the curl turned out beautiful. The perm is supposed to last about 4- 6 weeks and I'm at 4 weeks and the curl is still intact. Personally I'm sold on eyelash perming than extensions since it is cheaper at $50 compared to about $250 for extensions. The staff were friendly and I did not have any troubles scheduling my appointment. Parking is a little tight as the is in a very small plaza, which is also the same plaza as Black Bean Deli. read more

BEWARE! Lash Nazis! Bad management, doesn't answer the phone, lots of staff turnover, and...they drop clients (plural) at will! Yes, I am an ex-3-year client of iLashWorks and I have paid over $8000 in fees and tips. And because of a death in my family, and my being unable to cancel an appointment within 24 hours, and my questioning the $50 charge for said rescheduling, I received a letter one week later, the day before my scheduled lash appointment, that my $50 was refunded and I was being dropped as a client, and she was sorry for my loss. I had never been previously charged for any cancellations or missed appointments because I always called to reschedule if I needed or showed up for my appointments, one or the other. Do they have good lash techs and do they put out a good product? Yes. I went there for 3 years, so of course. BUT...and this is a big but, there was a constant "Lash Nazi" culture me and every other client and staff member had to abide by. I would be getting my lashes done and could overhear the Owner, Kit, trash talking clients, staff, and whoever else behind their backs. She was never in a good mood. And I could hear clients over the phone having issues with making their appointment on time due to sick children, traffic, work, they were sick, etc., and being upset at the same time that they were being charged. This is lashes, its fun, happiness, beauty, excitement -- not a concentration camp and it had that "feel" to it. People have lives. The world doesn't revolve around iLashWorks, but you were made to feel it was. So I am here to tell you there is life after iLashWorks. Come to find out I am one of a long line of dropped and devalued clients in town. As I began to call other Lash businesses in town, in fact the first one I called, Lashes by Lissa, I quickly uncovered that I wasn't the only one to call with a similar story. THAT was very interesting. Lissa was very booked up, and she suggested Blink Your Lashes. I called them, and unbeknownst to me and ironically, this owner was Kit's past business partner and I heard yet even more about her very ugly reputation in town of how she treats people. Blink Your Lashes got me in that day and my lashes turned out GREAT. I am happy to be on a regular schedule with "normal" people again. And then I found out there is Looks By Mel in WP. Mel was a previous lash tech at iLashWorks and the best one there hands down. I went to Mel for about a year and was very pleased with her work. You can be sure if you went there you will get great lashes. And lastly there is Lush Lashes in Altamonte which was referred to me by Blink Your Lashes in case I wasn't able to get in to see them as they were booked as well. Lash extensions are very popular and very addicting. It changes your life. But it is very very important you go to someone who knows what they are doing. These 4 businesses I describe here are very good ones. For all of Kit's talents and accolades in the lash community I actually did have her do my lashes once when there wasn't any openings with my other lash tech. I was very surprised to have glue showing everywhere on my lashes. I thought it was very sloppy. I had never experienced that from any of the other lash techs there. At any rate, there is life after iLashWorks -- they sent me directly to their best competition in town! This was my experience there. It's what I also observed and heard other clients experiencing, as well as learning of multiple other clients being dropped and devalued. I thought anyone who is considering going here should know. Go to any of the other 4 businesses named here. You will be glad and relieved you did. Life is too short right? And, btw, I have never been dropped as a client from anywhere ever, as I'm sure most of you haven't either. Go somewhere where you know you will be valued and your money and time will be appreciated. I wanted to share my experience with Eva with the microblading service. All my life I had almost non-existent semi-transparent eyebrows. For a long time I have been searching for a true professional who would manage to create a real masterpiece on my face without much damage. Eva has been recommended to me by many of my friends and it took me a while to get the courage for the procedure. The procedure took about 2 hours(great, if you wish to just relax for a bit). For any of my concerns or questions she had a quick and true responce (that's really calming to know that you work with a knowledgeable professional). Eva took time to make sure that my eyebrow area was properly numbed for the painless experience. She carefully measured and drew my future perfect brows after which she blended the perfect color and presented it to me for my aproval. It was an amazing drawing the first time but Eva was very attentive to any of my concerns. And then the fun started.... When she was done I couldn't believe my eyes. A completely new face with a pair of perfect eyebrows was looking back at me from the mirror. Completely natural look, I couldn't believe it was a drawing. Amazing job, Eva!
