Considering the upfront fee, I don't feel the assessment provided good value. I expected a thorough evaluation, a detailed explanation of the results, and enough information to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Definitely appreciate the small details and concerns to keep the carpet clean like hand carrying both the old and new water heater up 2 flights of stairs. Between the quick response/scheduling time, clean workmanship, and fine attention to detail, happy to say the leaking water heater experience felt less chaotic with 128's help! Total turnaround time, Friday 11pm to Monday 4pm hot water up and running!!

I called 128 Plumbing about one cracked drain pipe. I was told my entire house needed to be…read morerepiped. The estimate (#435094323) was $30,275 to demo every wall and ceiling necessary, disconnect first- and second-floor bathrooms, toilets and sinks, and replace the main stack. That was presented to me as the only option -- no alternatives, no phasing, nothing. And it did not include the roughly $6,000 I'd need to close the walls back up and reinstall fixtures, or the ~$400 roofer I'd have to hire and coordinate myself. Their own estimate puts the hole repair on the customer in writing. All in: nearly $37,000. Meanwhile my first-floor tenant was told she couldn't use her bathroom or her kitchen. When I hesitated at the number, I was told that at least if I sold the house I'd "have retail value." That's the line that made me stop and get a second opinion. Thompson Plumbing came out, found the actual leak -- old hubbed cast iron serving the kitchen -- and repiped it. $2,995. My final invoice was $3,420, and that included an unrelated frost-free silcock I added on. My toilet was fine. My kitchen sink was fine. My tenant's kitchen and bathroom were fine. Not one wall was demoed. Same house. Same leak. Ten percent of the price. I'm not going to speculate about why the two assessments were so far apart. I'll just say this: if 128 Plumbing tells you your house needs a $30,000 repipe, get a second quote before you sign anything. I nearly didn't, and it would have cost me thirty-three thousand dollars I did not need to spend.

The place is crowded with all types of lights - hanging, chandeliers, lamp posts, wall lights, in door lights, outdoor lights, weather resistant lights, etc. Go there to get ideas and talk to the knowledgeable staff. It's pretty expensive stuff but that's because it's high quality and many are made in the area. They also have a bathroom and will let you use it (unlike the Visitors Center/Chamber of Commerce!)

Mike's Electrical Solution's is located in El Cajon CA. He comes off as a knowledgeable, nice guy with good prices. He worked put pretty good except towards the end. He said he was finished and I paid him off in full. Soon thereafter, the house was sold, and the buyer's inspector had some issues with Mike's electrical work. Mike had plenty of time to fix these mostly minor issues, but Mike held off from doing so to the point of almost preventing the close of escrow! Mike kept scheduling appointments to come by and I would make sure and be present and to have the house unlocked, but Mike would not show. This happened, over and over again, always with another new excuse for not making the appointment. The problem is, once you have paid Mike in full, it's hard to get him to return if you have a problem with his wiring. So get ready to call the State Contractor License Board if you are going to deal with Mike and his company Mike's Electrical Solution's. read more

I live in a small ranch style home built about sixty years ago. It's tired and needs alot of good maintenence to bring it back to life. I just had Electrical Solutions' Mike Medzhidove redo the entire electrical panel, upgrading from fuses and so much old spagetti wiring it was had to follow. The new panel is neat and orderly and IT WORKS! In the past Mike has installed a new ceiling fan in the powder room along with new light and fan switches. He also worked with my plumber when I had a new furnace installed. I'm making a list for the next round of upgrades, Electrical Solutions will do the job. read more

I have an old victorian house with lots of crown molding. Mike and Max replaced a 40-year-old low-voltage smoke detectors with modern AC smokes. 13 new smoke/CO2 detectors were installed across 4 floors and 2 units in less than 2 days. I give my absolute full recommendation to Mike. He was incredibly responsive and professional. He went absolutely above and beyond to set up our Tesla charging station. It took months to work it out with the electric company and he managed all of it to completion. I would not be anywhere without him I give Mike my highest recommendation. Had Mike install a hpwc charger for my tesla model x. I had a 100 amp service but needed a 200amp service upgraded for the installation. Mike was able to schedule an installation in a timely manner and the work was done very fast.
