IIlla Canna has been my go-to shop for a couple of years now. I love coming here, all the staff are friendly and helpful. The security guards are rock stars! This shop is on the corner of Jefferson and Potomac, with a large "Los Angeles" mural on the side, curated by Mister Cartoon, which is pretty freaking awesome! Illa also has an extensive amount of edibles (my favorite). However, if edibles are not your forte, they have various selections of flowers too. Ugh, the value, customer service, and location can't be beat! If you're in the area, check them out! P.S --They also have a small parking lot in the back, just be careful with the small potholes in the alley. :) read more

Once I came here to get some Hello Again products (ladies, look this company up), and I got a free trial pack with my purchase. After a really negative experience 5 months ago with a rude budtender, I never expected when I decided to give ILLA another try I'd be threatened with violence by THE SAME unhinged staff!! I went back to ILLA and was greeted by THE SAME rude budtender (skinny guy with glasses and a sorry excuse for a mustache) who immediately started with an attitude and acted like he didn't remember who I was - which might have been true considering how intoxicated he looked... After I explained he had been previously rude to me he immediately he refused me service and asked if I "WANTED TO GO OUTSIDE to fight" !?!? I barely even raised my voice at the guy and he was threatening to fight me. Security ignored everything and seemed to look the other way. Extremely uncomfortable and unsafe situation. Would buy your weed elsewhere or watch out for the unhinged, aggressive staff that seems to be tolerated at this dispo! **For the record, I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the other staff at ILLA. I used to rock with this company pretty heavy. They are in my neck of the woods, they have a wide variety but I cannot support an establishment t that does not take care of the employees. I pull up on the tail end of sweltering day. It was balls to the walls hot and uncomfortable and my movement under the cover of night brought relief as the sun was no longer screaming it's sweltering obscenities all the live long day and I could get the cool of night. It was pleasant outside, but inside the dispensary, it was HOT. It was unbearable. Then, I found out the employees have been suffering like that for days as their air conditioning unit broke down. There was one measly fan in the front of the store, but that wasn't doing a darn thing. I asked the questions, and no one could respond as to when it would be fixed as the upper management were not in a hurry even though our days were close to triple digits. I was flummoxed. Why is it okay to allow your employees to work under those conditions? Especially, when u make hand over fist financially. I was hurt for these employees who were obviously distressed but still putting on brave faces. They also have to share their tips. So, maybe you tip the budtender who helped you so expertly 20 bucks! He has to split it with everyone in the entire store because again management can't give people decent salaries and let individuals keep their own tips that they work for! What's up with all this!? I decided, I cannot financially support a company that does so little for their staff and makes working conditions dangerous. I can't give them my money. IT IS VERY SHAMEFUL what Il Canna chooses to do when there are fair and viable options to do instead. There are so many other dispensaries... Why go to the one that oppresses the little people?! I won't be coming back until they fix their card reader. It's been broken for- I don't know how long. I've been coming here for years then all of a sudden their card reader doesn't work with phone tap OR a physical debit card. Instead of fixing the issues, they urge you to pull money out of their ATM or scan a QR code to enter credit card information. The credit card wouldn't go through either. Thank goodness though because it seemed sketchy anyway, so I walked out. It's too bad too because the staff is nice and they have a good selection of weed. I felt the price was fine because it's in the neighborhood but I guess me and my friends are just going to have to go up the street to the next dispensary instead. read more

Illa Canna is my go-to dispensary. Free parking is available on the street or there is a free parking lot behind the store. They open at 8am (except Sunday they open at 10am) and you can get an early-bird discount for going early before 10am. Lastly, delivery is free if you spend $20 and live within the ranges of 90008, 90016, 90018, 90019, 90034, 90232. Delivery days are on Friday, Saturday and Monday from 3-8pm and Sunday from 12-4pm. They run daily deals, (i.e. on Sunday, flower is discounted, on Wednesday, edibles are discounted, Thursday, drinks are discounted, etc.). Also if you recycle your used jars, you can get a discount ($1 off per jar, up to 3 jars). They also sell clones and offer growing classes which I am looking forward to participating in. 5 star experience at this extremely clean and professionally run dispensary in the West Adams area of Los Angeles. Terrence was super knowledgeable and pleasant; we chatted as he gave me a full tour and offered recommendations that suited my needs. The dispensary offers flower, edibles, extracts, pre-rolls, topical, vape and tincture products. Both CBD and THC products are available. You can simply order online and pick up or walk in and shop (make sure you have a valid ID). Prices are extremely reasonable and the dispensary offers a 15% discount for new customers, a 10% early bird discount and daily specials. Check out their gear also as they have hats, sweatshirts and tees available for purchase as well. When I find myself in L.A. next time, Illa Canna will definitely be one of my first stops.
