I really don't like this place tbh. Their other location was way better. Now they operate right in-front of a large homeless encampment and just an odd place in town for a dispensary. Like it's almost in a neighborhood. They have an alright selection, but nothing to write home about. Probably in the middle of the price spectrum. It's kind of a weird place, it feels like a bank. There was no line but it took a really long time and idk why or what the hell the person who was helping me was doing. I don't hold it against them because we are all high but still I like to be in and out. Terrible customer service and poor treatment! The staff and budtenders are very rude and their quality of service is almost an insult to the cannabis flower. They will sell you used items and samples. They sold me a used battery and refused to give me service in this situation.  So embarrassing! Will never go here again and pay so much tax. I read up on them and thought how progressive of them. They set up sanitized storefronts in the inner cities to usher in quality products for affordable prices...right?! WRONG. This is a predator prey situation and people are getting worked over. LA Cannabis has no business being in an urban community when they are afraid of what the locals "might" do. I've never gone to a dispensary with bullet proof glass! Products line the wall behind a bulletproof glass. You can't see anything. The employees stay behind that glass and they are very hard to hear. Nicole was the seemingly nice lady that jumped to help us through the peephole. I was still getting over the look and feel of being in jail and didn't acknowledge her right away. My bf told her we could barely hear her and she did nothing to fix that issue. I made a remark about the bullet proof glass to my man and he chuckled. He later told me that Nicole muttered under her breath about us when I dared question the bullet proof glass. I looked over the menu. Recognized some brands I rock with but the price points are higher. They make it sound like they are doing ya a favor by paying the tax. Stay woke. Read between the lines. Not only are they overpriced and don't know much about their products,(Nicole was clueless) but she ended up giving me the wrong preroll! Maybe she was just as flustered as I. I don't know but I'm the client and my knowledge and experience is only growing in this industry. This ain't the spot. As I left, I was so disappointed to see a bunch of black people in the lobby. This company ain't for us! I'm channeling Laurence Fishburne in School Daze! Why is it okay for these new businesses to set up shop with bullet proof glass and inflated prices?! This is not the dispensary for people of color. This is not acceptable! We gotta stop thinking it's okay to get treated like a zoo animal whose also getting hoodwinked! I had an overall positive experience when coming in and purchasing an item they are more than happy to take your money but if there's anything wrong with what you bought then they no longer have responsibility and force you to go to the manufacturer even when the manufacturer says that retailers honor exchanges of their product I had purchased a heavy hitters cartridge and a large amount of the oil had gone into my mouth when I had inhaled which was disgusting and concerning since the amount that had gone into my mouth would probably be the amount of wax I would consume in about 1 to 2 days . When I showed the employee a picture of the amount I was able to take out from my mouth before anymore got caught in my lungs he gave me the manufacturer's phone number which lead to nothing and this is when I got pissed and came back and he still told me the same thing without helping me at all!!!! I've gone to shops that probably aren't 100% legal that have phenomenally better customer service than all LA Cannabis Co COMBINED! read more

I don't trust the packaged date on the strains of flower under their brand. The GMO was insanely dry and didn't give the faintest hint of a buzz, but the other strains I tried weren't that bad. I've tried all of their indices and a few of the hybrids. They weren't the best, but they'll do for the price on the first two visits where you get the discount. Besides the first two days, I don't see the point in paying so much more in taxes for the quality being offered. But definitely check them out at least twice! read more

Visiting from New Orleans I've been to a few dispensaries in Denver and New York. I loved it honestly they have a good variety including top shelf. Got some canndescent for like 50$. Price is fair for California. They run deals and discounts . They also text you deals for the week. read more

This is my usual spot and I love to recommend it but today got turned off to ever going back. The woman with purple hair at the reception desk was unnecessarily rude. I was trying to cash in my discount points, she first ignores us asking her for the discount. We just shrug it off, and wait until she calls us up, but then she ignores us AGAIN, turning to talk to her coworker even though we were actively asking her what to do next. It was awkward because even the coworker noticed us there. Then she snaps that she needs our phone numbers, like okay? We had to wait for you to finish a conversation just to say that? Even my friend noticed her attitude was unnecessarily ugly, but we stayed polite. She flicked the discount paper at us. The budtenders were nice and helpful. But she killed the mood for us because usually everyone is friendly; but she went out of her way to be rude... anyway, we'll be going to Gorilla RX for a friendlier welcome. Maybe we'll return to this location once the staff changes up. Either way, it really takes a nasty person to ruin a stoners day, and she managed to ruin two in one go. Lol. read more

This by far was the best dispensary I ever visited in LA. I came here around 11am. Signing up as a first time patient was a smooth and easy process. They gave me 20% off for visiting my first time. That's the best deal I got from a dispensary since being down in LA. The budtender who helped me out was very pleasant and patient. They had a menu of different strains, edibles, cartridges, etc. I bought 2 pre-rolls, 2 8ths of 2 different strains and 2 packs of gummy edibles. My total after the discount and tax came out to $85. My first time there and got nothing but weird vibes and attitude from the African American lady in the straight back braids working the counter. I walked in a smiled I was never greeted just stared at. I then proceed to tell her I never been there before and instead of a warm welcome I get a cold stare. At this point we both looking at each other like what do you want. She then said I need your ID.. I give her my id and say my bad I never been here before. She snaps back at me with attitude saying "what you say" I repeated what I said and she said "and that's fine" loudly but said something else under her voice with attitude again btw... at this point idk what-her problem is and just asked for my id back and walked out. Ive noticed some of the 8ths of their flowers from cannabiotix not being properly sealed. Upon opening the void tag came right off as if the adhesive was weak and taking off the cap the lid seal was already off. The buds looked and smelled nice but the taste is no good and the high is of a lower grade flower. This is the third time this has happened. The strains were: highahuasca, mountain sage and another that I can't recall. A few years back I did not experience this from their cannabiotix flowers. It makes me wonder if it is the cannabis company to blame for these issues or if, considering the improper sealing, is La Cannabis switching out the high grade cannabiotix flowers and replacing them with some low grade lookalikes. Its hard to tell.and this why proper sealing is so important. I am not blaming anyone im just noting my concern. However, I will not be purchasing these products again from La Cannabis until I know for sure ..thus I must try and buy direct from Cannabiotix to see if there is a difference. First time here. Only spot open on Sunday night past 8 o'clock. Very kind and informative gentleman. Helped me locate a nice Northern Lights vape pen. One of those nostalgic flavors. Being from Philadelphia be sure to bring a valid State ID and a debit card. They don't take credit. Hopefully I can save someone a wasted trip as far as the credit goes. Simple in and out. I'm sure they would've answered a 100 questions. I knew a few general strains I was looking for. And I love the oil extracts. If I stay out here I will get medical so I can get samples and other goodies. But they understood my awe inspired attitude. They have a good three page menu for flower; but with the hotel I opted on the vape. Disposable, user friendly and a cool sticker to boot. The security is always a bit intimidating but they were plenty friendly. Just keeping everyone safe and all. Poor experience today. A cartridge that I bought from here was 35$ pre tax 4 months ago. Today that same cartridge was 51$ pre tax. I was told it's because they are popular. I was also given the wrong bud for a pre rolled that I got. I am over the bullet proof glass as well. You can't hear anything. Then I got attitude for asking my budtender to repeat herself. They don't take credit cards anymore. But there is a 3$ fee atm for your enjoyment. It must be under new management/ ownership. Please stop acting like your doing is a favor. But withing the last 6 months the quality of product isnt the same. employees are rude, especially the new ones.... i had to go back to the shop twice, i had 3 times of weed in my container, which wasnt even the correct flower i chose...Now the prices went up and now taxes are added to the increase weed prices.
