I booked services for 3 people. Me and my 2 daughters (17 & 23). I booked based on a special for $150 per person for a massage and facial. My services were good. Great facial. Massage was okay at best being honest. I am upset because we were taken advantage of. $40 was tacked on for unauthorize and absolutely unneeded services. I did not authorize the owner or the lady doing the facials that I paid for to provide additional services for eye treatments. My kids sat individually with a woman doing facials snd she took advantage of them. Makes me so very angry! My kids are 17 and 23 with great skin. There was NO reason to provide eye treatments for kids who do not need it. read more

I scheduled a massaged and last minute added a facial because of a "special" they were offering. The massage with Josh was amazing! The best I've had. The facial was a joke. We discussed adding services on once she did the skin analysis. The only conversation in the 60 minute massage was my skin was a little dehydrated and she was going to do a few extractions on my nose. I was slathered with several very oily products, nothing on my eyes which need great attention. At the end she quickly listed what she used, I have no clue really. Left the room with no discussion about options. When I got downstairs she asked if I needed any products. Oh, the special was $5.00 off facial. Booked a last minute couples massage for Valentine's Day and it was wonderful! The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating from start to finish! When we arrived they were nice enough to tell us that they were running about 10 minutes behind but we would still get our full time. It was very much appreciated to be kept informed. I booked a much needed deep tissue massage here with Joshua. My first massage from a male massage therapist ....Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience. My husband saw the male massage therapist received a good therapeutic massage however the air condition unit blew cold air on his feet. My therapist was obviously very inexperienced. Maybe with more training she would be good. I had to keep asking for more pressure which she obviously could not deliver. If it was to be a Swedish massage there was no flow. If it was supposed to be a deep tissue then I would never recommend her to other guest. I would suggest more training for her read more

Super friendly & professional staff; very relaxing & enjoyable. It's also quite beautiful - in an old house built in the 1920's. I have been getting massages since 1995, and over the years I have been lucky to have connected with some excellent massage therapists. After moving to Asheville, NC three years ago, I used several massage therapists and found either merely ok good ones who had scheduling issues which made it tricky to stay with them. I had picked up a card for Hanna Mesker had decided to set an appointment. This was over a year ago. She works out of Illusions Day Spa in near I 240 and Charlotte Street. Hanna is an experienced massage therapist who in my opinion does an excellent upper body massage, which I have found helpful, because of a prior auto accident. She is a very nice person to deal with and she has very good technique. She is flexible on scheduling and with texts, its a smooth process. I can recommend her. Although I gave her five stars, I considered overall a four star rating, because the massage rooms are up a full flight of stairs which I would prefer to not have to walk up or down. read more

We had an appointment last Friday for a bride, mother of the bride and maid of honor for gel nails and pedicures. When we arrived we were told the technician did not show up but they could still accommodate us. Very cute house. There was a young lady and I think an owner or manager who helped us. First and foremost the young lady had no idea how to do gel nails. Nail polish all over our fingers, messy application on the nails. Used cell phone to text while doing my manicure. The owner knew more but still did not apply well. Then when mistakes were made they tried to fix but just made more of a mess. Shaping nails horrible. Given this session was for a Bride getting married the next day it was upsetting to say the least. We were also told the young lady was trained in pedicures, but honestly those were not great either. The owner really tried to be nice, but this in no way is a place I would recommend. We left with polish on the sides of our nails, see thru polish, poorly shaped nails. Honestly the only reason I paid at all was I did not want to upset the bride. read more

Not impressed. I get massages regularly and in addition have tried several great spas around Asheville. My boyfriend and I decided to have a couples massage during our first kid free Saturday in months. This is not a spa. Reception area is a noisy hair salon. We were taken upstairs for our massage 25 minutes late. We had purchased an hour massage and 50 minutes after we were taken upstairs they were finished. It was basically a 40 minute massage. After wards, I went to pay and the young lady tried to charge me more than was quoted over the phone because I got a deep tissue massage. Nothing was mentioned about extra charges over the phone, on their website, or on the paperwork we completed or by the employee giving the massage who specifically asked me what type I would like. The reason I didn't give it a review of a one star was because the massage itself even though less than the allotted time was very good and I've had a lot of massages. She did well. I've never written a negative internet review before today on any business but for the price you pay for this service, they need to raise the bar. Too many other spots in Asheville with must better attention to customers and detail. read more
