Amazing little soap shop! Spoke to the owner he's very enthusiastic about his soap and scrubs. Everything is high quality and made from really good ingredients I highly recommended to anyone into this sort of thing

Oh man. I cannot say enough awesome things about this place. Let's start by saying if you want to look like a king/queen that cares about your loved one, family, or friends, Appalachian Naturals is a sure fire source for an awesome gift. My wife swears by their products, and I've become a convert. Soaps, lotions, pure jojoba oil, this place is a goldmine for people that take their skin seriously. What Appalachian Natural Soaps offers would cost you three to four times more in any major city. It's a family owned business that hand crafts every bar of their soap on site using exclusively organic and natural ingredients. The most charming thing about this place is how humble they are about it. They could be thrusting it down your throat, but it's all very relaxed. They're happy to share their story though, the soap itself is a family recipe, it's all quite interesting. My favorite of the 20+ products they offer is the lemongrass rosemary poppyseed soap. It's bright and vibrant. It's the perfect thing to smell first thing in the morning when taking a shower.

New fav candle! Thanks Appalachian Naturals!

I have been using Appy Nats soaps for years! Ever since they had their location in the Biltmore Square Mall and it is the only thing use. First of all I can't talk enough about how amazing their products are. I use their soap to wash my face and body every day. (And they have the most creative and lovely scents). I use their jojoba oil for my face moisturizer. Sunshine for my body moisturizer. They have the greatest Chapstick! Great Bath Milk. Coffee Butter. Candles. I mean seriously I could go on and on, there has never been a time I purchased something I didn't enjoy. Secondly, the staff are so amazing! They made everything right in their cute little shop on Wall St and are so knowledgeable of their products. They are so kind and passionate about what they do. I recommend them to someone almost everyday and now I'm recommending them to you!

Let me just start this by saying, I have never once stepped foot in Victor's shop, but I would love to one day.

Come back when one of the young women owners are there. We went for holiday gift shopping, knowing we'd be spending a chunk of money and getting something recipients appreciated but ended up putting everything down and leaving after enduring this woman's inane LOUD chattering to every person who walked in the store. Not only was her stupid chatter annoying, she argued with us about never having carried an item we know we purchased there! We lived in the Deep South for nearly 30 years and never experienced an encounter that felt like such an inauthentic put-on of 'southern charm.' Sorry Duncan &York. We love the store but this year there won't be anything from your store under our Christmas tree.
