The Wild Rose Healing House is a sister healing house of Blazing Lotus. In opened in 2020 and the therapists seem to work at both locations. It also has a sauna. Wild Rose Healing House has done a great job with the Covid protocols. Your temperature is taken when you arrive. Masks are worn by the staff and clients. Masks are provided if you do not have your own. The treatment room has an air filter. I've been to Wild Rose twice and have seen TJ both times. His services have helped my shoulder recover from multiple injuries over the past year. He has the knowledge to figure out what is tight or needs attention. Aromatherapy, hot stones and hot towels are part of the treatment. Appointments are easy to book online. You select which therapist you want (you can read about their specialties) and the massage you want and the time that works for you. Street parking is available across the street from Wild Rose. The relaxing scent of essential oil welcomes you in. My gf and I were met by Shea and Juno for a signature couples massage including hot stones, hot towels, and aromatherapy. We were each asked for our goals and hopes for our massages. The massage suite was beautiful and relaxing, with soft music and candlelight. During our stay in Asheville we really wanted to get a massage. I looked around for a while and decided on Wild Rose Healing House. I originally tried to book with their sister property, but there was no availability so we came to this location instead. We made a reservation for a 120 minute Couples Signature Massage for $420 (without gratuity). As with much of Asheville, there is street parking only so leave ample time to find a spot before your reservation. We did not have any trouble finding parking, but we left extra time just in case. We were given the option to fill out the intake forms prior to our arrival, or we could fill them out when we got there. As we filled out our forms beforehand, all we needed to do was have our temperature taken before we were escorted to a waiting room. After a few minutes we were accompanied upstairs to our treatment room. Dim lighting, soft sounds, and all the calming additions to the atmosphere you would expect when getting a massage. We had a short intake with the massage therapists and were then given time to get undressed and into the treatment beds. During the massage we were able to keep our mask off when lying on our bellies, but were asked to put our masks on when we flipped over onto our backs. Overall, we enjoyed the massage. The Signature Massage included three add-ons of hot stones, aromatherapy, and hot towels. The aromatherapy was awesome. We really would have loved more hot stone work though. It was very minimal compared to what we are used to. If you are looking for a traditional hot stone massage this is not the massage to go for - but there are a ton of options. Next time we will definitely opt for the traditional hot stone massage and add the aromatherapy. Win win! All in all, we were glad we visited and would return again next time we are in town. I recently visited Wild Rose for a couple's massage. Not only was it our first couple's massage, but our first massage in general. The moment I walked through the front door I was very impressed. The overall feeling of Wild Rose Healing House was very calm and welcoming. We were greeted with a smile and welcomed into a waiting area to await Bri and Rachel. While we waited we were welcomed to chocolates, water, products, and a book with a small biography of each therapist. I already knew we had made the right decision and was very impressed before the massage started. We chose the signature couples massage which included aromatherapy, hot towels, and hot stones. Bri and Rachel spoke to us individually prior to the massage to see if there were any areas to focus on or that we preferred to leave out the massage. The room itself was very welcoming with dim lighting and a fireplace. I told Rachel I felt like a wet noodle after our massage. The attention to every part of our body was phenomenal. As stated. When they promote themselves as being "heart-centered," they mean it. The flow of the day was a little disorganized (couples massage followed by sauna--there was confusion), but that was probably due the fact that I made the appointment the day before. We both felt enveloped in peace and happiness. Our massage therapists were professional, kind, knowledgeable and incredibly service-oriented. The infrared sauna is a must-have add on--just don't interfere with MY appointment :-). I tend to be fairly critical (I'm an editor who is trained to look for mistakes).
