I'm salvadorian and when I saw the menu items I was overjoyed as I don't get to eat Salvadorian food regularly as I did in my childhood. We've been here twice. The first time, I will say the service took around 25 minutes. The shrimp cocktail is super good. I like how generous they are with the shrimp. Both times I've gotten like 8-9 pieces. The second time they did tell me they were out of avocados but sadly they didn't put the shrimp on top like they did the first time. The pupusas are good. Not as good as the ones from El Salvador but honestly, haven't come across any in the valley that compare. I like how they aren't greasy and outrageously huge. The first time it was less doughy than the second. You'll have to keep asking for curtido if you like a lot of it. I find they don't give you enough. We ordered like 4. Always happy to see queso con loroco on the menu. It's my favorite. Chicken tacos. According to husband good. Breakfast plate. He wasn't a fan. The picture on the menu pictures 3 eggs. He only got 2. He did not want to eat the crema. Ok the meats. It's a hard pass. The salpicon is hard but the rice is perfect. So freaking good!! The meat special plate. She recommended it over the fish filet plate. Should have gone with the fish. The meat was hard and mostly fat. The plátanos were too mushy and greasy. The cheese was ok. The casamiento was not good. The rice and beans were hard and over fried/cooked. Overall the service was really good. They gave us beans and nachos for our baby to eat while we waited. They would stop several times to ask if we needed anything. One last call out I had that bothered me was that the server gave my husband my pupusa on his plate. He got like 2 big bites out of it. She came and was like. "Darn I messed up. Gave him yours. But he only got One bite and he is your husband right?" Honestly I should have spoken up and gotten a new one and they should have let us kept the one they messed up on and still given my husband his. The place is kind of empty for the most part. They play salvadorian oldies which is cool.

One of my favs and still don't know why it hasn't gone up in stars. I love their pupusas and horchata and let me say their beans and fried bananas are on point. It's a typical small restaurant nothing fancy which is what I like never have to wait long.

    No tables bussed.

I don't even have my food yet I came in waited minutes I smiled at two people working and nobody acknowledged me at all? Like what's going on? I walked up to this counter and this worker accidentally saw me and got someone to take my order, now a to go order when I really didn't plan for this.

Great service and food, I ordered two pupusas and 3 tamales for my Christmas dinner . We Salvi people celebrate the 24th of December for Christmas. Delicious and very well made. Esta comida es deliciosa se la recomendo a todo paisano en Las Vegas. Voy a regresar 100%

Definitely not coming here again, prices do not match to what they have here on Yelp. When I brought it up to the attention of Gabby, she said she doesn't know why. I ordered through the phone and specifically asked if it was all the same as on yelp. With the prices on yelp, I was expecting to pay at most $35 dollars, but with their actual prices, I paid almost $55. And to top it off, it's super greasy.

This place is fantastic. The food is delicious and the service was wonderful. I have been staying on the strip for a few days where all the food is expensive and mediocre. On our way back to phoenix we found this little gem by chance. I looked at the other reviews and decided to stop in anyways since yelp is almost never a good way to decide on a restaurant. Con ganas amigos!! Muy buena comida y papusas!

Awesome food! Kareoke on the weekends! Cheap and delicious pupusas. I liked the horchata and the chilaquiles too.

Disgusting place. Dirty and smelly. The service is commensurate. I thought I'd give them a chance and try the food... Worst mistake ever.

A little short staff, but the team were all friendly and all were assisting each other to fill in the gaps of service. Bartender seated me as host stand was not manned, other servers bussing and running food as bartender was busy. Appreciate the awareness and assistance. Old items on menu... bacon wrapped dates, beet salad, pulpo, mussels were all still really good! Crab cakes were bland. Do not recommend this dish. A staple and OG restaurant of Vegas in the past and still and great place now, just with an upgraded look. Parking is easy.

Service is also very attentive and awesome, made our anniversary date night very lovely :). My overall thoughts on the food - 3.5/4 out of 5 It's good food. Is it the best tapas place ever? I wouldn't say so. But here is what we ordered and what I thought of it: Tuna tartare: 2.5/5 - nothing terribly special- it was good! Just nothing to write home about Patatas bravas: 3/5 - again, good! But I fear my bar for patatas bravas is really high. So it's hard to impress me with these. I wish there was more sauce and the potatoes were crispier Machego mac and cheese: 5/5 - yea this was delicious. Definitely not an authentic Spanish tapa but man it was fire. The crispy cheese at the top was so *chefs kiss* Pork empanada: 5/5 - this is the dish me and my partner bit into and both of us rang a resounding "mmmmm!". This is really good- you have to get it. Steak y papas: 5/5 - steak was cooked well, the mashed potato is yummy. Solid choice White sangria: 4/5 - not as much fruit flavor as I'd like in a sangria but it was good Flourless chocolate cake: 4/5 - it's not very rich or sweet which is definitely a good thing after a large meal. But if that's what you're looking for, that's not in this.

Amazing First Visit, Disappointing Second One! Be careful when ordering!…read more I heard so many great things about the infamous churrasco at this restaurant, so I made the trip and ordered it. My first visit (May 16th) was outstanding! The churrasco was a decent, juicy, and tender NY Strip Steak with perfect thickness, served over yuca fries, sweet plantains, and potatoes. The chimichurri on the side wasn't the authentic Argentinian recipe, but it was still good. I ordered it medium rare, exactly how I like it, and it was amazing, tasty, and delicious. (See photo #1.) Today (June 19th), I decided to stop by again--but it was a huge disappointment. The churrasco I received didn't taste like NY Strip Steak and tasted like the regular cheap meat you get when you go to a bad cheap Mexican restaurant and order the famous carne asada plate. It wasn't cooked to the medium temperature I ordered. The cut was extremely thin, almost like Carne Asada or Chuck Roast (the kind used for their $9.99 corrientazo or the meat they served on the "Bandeja Paisa plate" . It was dried, rubbery, and had no taste whatsoever. I mentioned the issue to the waiter and even showed him the meat while asking for the bill. He told me, "I'm sorry, today was your unlucky day , I will let them know"?. This is Unacceptable. A good restaurant management should approach the customer and replace the meal or not even charging ! He acknowledged it was completely wrong when he saw the meat and apologized sincerely. That honesty was appreciated, but it's stories like this that make a restaurant lose its reputation and push customers away. In my case, I'm now afraid to come back and waste my money. First photo: My amazing churrasco from May 5th. Photos 2 & 3: The disappointing churrasco from today (June 19th). I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves consistency. A great restaurant can easily become a great and reliable one with better attention to detail. Maybe the cooks picked the wrong meat or sliced it wrong? Just look at images 2 & 3 and compare the big difference--thin and dried! I'm a bit upset about wasting my money for pretty much garbage.
