My surgery was yesterday morning and boy am I glad it's over...BUT, I want to give this establishment some major praise. Dr. Cote is really a godsend. I'm so glad my current dentist refers her patients to Dr. Cote for periodontal work. His bedside manner is what every patient needs and dreams of. Every person I have talked to in this office has been so pleasant and helpful...from the front desk with Billy & Trina, to Dr. Cote's assistant, Deb. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time and I was called back shortly after. The doctor thoroughly briefed me on what would be happening that morning and outlined the post op procedures and was patient with me with additional questions I had. I chose to stay awake during the process. Dr. Cote gently numbed me up with multiple shots of Novocain (this process was truly the most "pleasant" numbing situation I've ever experienced...usually this is the PITS). During the surgery, he talked me through of what he was doing and what I would be feeling with the different instruments going into my mouth. His assistant, Deb, was spectacular. She had the air suction going the whole time and suctioning excess liquid at the right spots the entire duration. This duo was exceptionally clean and truly masterful at their jobs. Not once did water or anything else splash up into my face. Previous experiences at dental establishments, I recall having water running down the side of my face onto my clothes...and debris splashing up onto my face. If you ever need periodontal work done and happen to get referred to this place, you are in the BEST hands. The doctor gave me a ring last night just to make sure I was doing okay. That's world class service right there.

One of the things that I love and have always loved about this practice is that they know exactly who you are when you walk in. Another thing I love is that I have never waited long to be seen. Ever. I've had the same hygienist for a few years now and she is wonderful and gets the job done. I love being able to ask questions and not feel rushed about it. There is always a little bit of unease when practices switch practitioners and I have friends that have not had great experiences when things change. THIS IS A REVIEW FOR PARENTS OF TODDLERS/YOUNG KIDS…read more The complaint I have is actually regarding the way they approached my toddler's care. 1. Asked on the phone if they could treat a young child of two years (the answer on the phone was yes, and to bring them in during my appointment). However when I arrived with them they seemed to be very uncomfortable with a young child and the doctor actually didn't look at their teeth, but instead one of the hygienists who "used to work at a pediatric dentist" did. 2. The teeth staining I had concern about (because they can lead to decay and infection) I was told was not a big concern. I was also advised against using fluoride toothpaste and to keep brushing their teeth using baby toothpaste. No additional instructions were given until they could spit better. At the time I felt informed and that my concerns were answered, but this was me putting too much trust in them I think, and how they present themselves as a "family dentistry for all ages". 3.My toddler now has two cavities because of following this advice (or lack of advice). I tried to do the right thing and go to a professional in advance, but I didn't get that here. I am extremely disheartened and wish I had skipped this place and brought my child to a pediatric dentist back then. My toddler is very likely facing oral surgery now because I was given false assurance that things were fine. *Please if you are a parent concerned about your young toddlers teeth look into a pediatric dentist first or at least make sure the doctor will actually look at your child's teeth as he didn't look at my child's directly. You could save yourself from a very unwanted and preventable situation!* My care for my own teeth was very good here, which is why it makes me especially sad that this situation happened because it seems as though they are kind enough and skilled enough but simply didn't take the situation seriously for my child . I have no issues with the care of my teeth, but I would never recommend this place for a young child's care based on my experience.
