For example; I paid $15 for a pedicure, & the menu stated the service is about 1 hr 40 min which is why I assumed there was more to the service than I what I got. Shame on me for not asking what is included. My pedi lasted about 15 min which included a 5 min foot soak in luke warm water. No cuticle removal, no pumice, no scrub. I can probably keep going. Things what I got for $15 5 min soak, cuticle's lightly pushed back & a brushing of nails a few seconds each, and polish. Start to finish lasted 15 min maybe less. Tje actual pedi itself was about 7 min. The polish was thick uneven, looked like my nails got painted by a 4 yr old. As soon as I got home, I removed the horrific master piece of junk!. & noticed nails were filed uneven, cuticles were not even pushed back at all! I WILL NEVER EVER get any cosmetology services here. Despite specifically asking for my nails to be cut and shaped, that was never done. The student took her time, but the entire service felt rushed and uninterested, as if she didn't want to be there. The pedicure itself was far below what I've experienced at other student salons. There was no heel scrub, no spa-like experience, and the water didn't even have bubbles. To make matters worse, there was a hair floating in the water. Instead of changing the water, it was simply removed with a towel and the service continued. What bothered me the most was the no-chip removal process. Rather than properly soaking the polish off, a rough nail file that felt like a piece of sandpaper was used repeatedly on my nails. It was uncomfortable, actually hurt, and left me questioning whether proper removal techniques were being followed. I've visited several student salons before and understand that students are learning, but this experience was nowhere near the standard I've come to expect. I left disappointed and would not return or recommend it to others.

She was sweet, thorough in both her approach and her application of the product, had good massaging techniques, was generally attentive to detail, and exhibited a wealth of knowledge that she's managed to learn within just a few months of practice. If I do book with Pivot Point again, Aaliya is definitely the one for me.

They never have time for Groupon customers and always come up with excuses--spring break, not enough staff, etc. They rarely pick up the phone; I had to leave voicemails and only got a call back the next day. She took the time to explain the differences between the two types of tan lotion. She showed me all the levels of tanning beds. The quality of PBT compared to like LA tan isn't comparable Palm beach tan is so much better. Their tans bedding and just better they renal the beds more often and they are cuter. Veronica was so nice and helpful and she was giving me great advice on when to tan and for how long so i don't burn. Anyway, Can't wait to get bronze for my wedding with Palm Beach Tan!!
