I contacted David at I.L.D. to discuss a patio and walkway project that my wife's been wanting for over 5 years. David and his crew supervisor were able to stop by my place that afternoon. After walking around the yard to look over the project and later, sending my drawing of what I was looking for in greater detail he came back with an estimate. Glad to say I was sitting down when I saw it. After talking with the wife we decided to scale back the project to just the patio, but have I.L.D. supply us with enough Flagstone for us to do the pathways on our own as time and energy permit. We did custom remodeling work for 14 years since my forced retirement in 2003, but decided to completely retire in 2018, so the budget was a major concern. David's revised estimate was still more than we expected, but knowing the amount of labor involved, we agreed on the price. David's crew was able to start on our place the following Tuesday and completed the job by the next Monday after that. I was happy with the professionalism his crew displayed and the attention to details that made a difference in the end product. I was impressed with the stone-work, and the respect shown to our property by all the workers. The crew supervisor did suggest a change to the job after digging out for the stonework, that increased the total area. We initially hired David Spradling (Image Landscaping) to design a landscape plan to completely redo our front yard. We needed to enhance the look and conserve water at the same time. David worked with us to come up with a plan that was pleasing to us and our HOA. David did an outstanding job with the design, plant selection, and overall theme for the yard. We could not be more pleased. We have had numerous compliments from people in the neighborhood. Seems we have had someone stop by every week since the project was completed. David's work crew was always punctual, polite, courteous, and efficient. The sprinkler system had to be reworked and the beds converted to drip. David hired Art Perez, owner of A Good Sprinkler Man, to handle that part of the project. Art and his crew did a great job. They were super nice and super good. I had a great experience working with David and his team in September 2021. We had over twenty 10-foot shrubs that were damaged in the Feb winter storm and needed extensive trimming to the ground. Within a week of initial estimate, the crew rapidly cleared the brush and made our yard look great. We were also wanting to create a flagstone/river rock fire pit patio, for which David created a wonderful patio design and offered us a very competitive price. All work was done in a punctual manner. We found David and this company through Yelp. He heard and applied our request for a xeriscape that attracted pollinators and was low maintenance for a yard that was prone to washing out with storms. All requests have been met! We have bees and hummingbirds that visit. Best of all, once established, the plants in our yard will survive the summer heat and sun without any trouble. I just had a job completed by David and Mark of Image Landscape and Design. We had originally talked to them about having flagstones and gravel extended into an area in the back yard that had never grown grass. We couldn't get anything to take there. After looking for a few minutes, they talked us out of it! Pointed out it would increase the heat in the area substantially (true). They recommended soil treatments and putting in new sod. While there I asked them to look at a smaller area in our front. They finally figured out our sprinkler system couldn't adequately cover that area, so proposed adding a head and putting in new sod. Finished job very quickly and professionally. The crew they use are all knowledgable and very friendly, pleasant to work with.
