I showed the picture of what I wanted and it was all good until the reveal. The first thing I noticed was that she cut it way too short. I asked for an inch off (and showed her the desired length). She cut off 2-2.5 inches. I could've told her right then and there, but there's nothing she could've done at that point. My hair was already gone. The color is beautiful, but it's not what I showed her. I quickly got over it, but It wasn't until I got home that I noticed the stark line between my light brown roots and the blonde. Planning on going to the store to pick up some root touch up to fix it myself. Lastly, and the most upsetting, is the price. Usually this costs $100 at most. However, I was charged nearly $200. I wouldn't have minded so much if she did a good job, but there were just too many mistakes to justify spending that much money. I wish I could give negative stars. I am the woman with the purple hair in their cover photo and many other promotional photos. I have asked them to stop using my image many times but I have been met with silence and blocked on various platforms. The purple photo was taken after I moved from Arizona where a wonderful stylist had been keeping my hair healthy, lightened and toned. All Image Perfect did that day was add a purple overtone and curl my hair. The first time I went in to have actual lightening work done, Rina, the salon owner used "the wrong developer" in her words and left me sitting too long. Half my hair burned off. I was left with the gray mess you see in my final picture here. I've been trying to grow it back for 2 years now but it is so damaged and I am so stressed it will never recover. I haven't been back to the salon since but asked I am desperately sad that they continue to use my photo, without my permission for promotion. Stay away - not a good place. read more

I'm not the easiest person when it comes to my hair. First, I have a ton of it. Thick, coarse, wavy, and in abundance. It's hard to get a good haircut when you have hair like mine. I typically don't get a good cut so I avoid the salon and wear my hair in a ponytail or bun at all times. After some recommendations during a group luncheon with friends, I made an appt with Rina for a cut/perm. My hair looks better when my curl is more controlled instead of freaky crazy but I was nervous. I walked in and she was ready for me. She listened to all of my concerns, reassured me that it was going to turn out beautifully, and she began. She not only did my chemical treatment, but she fixed a very bad haircut that I had gotten elsewhere. The process was painless and smooth. I felt at ease and comfortable the entire time. I've been to salons where the stylists are cliquish, or make you feel a bit awkward by not really talking to you. I didn't get this vibe at all from Image Perfect. It was a great experience and I won't hesitate to return. My hair turned out much better than I expected. It's been a few weeks now and it's still fabulous. I took Rina's recommendation for products as well, and she was spot on. I couldn't be happier and the price was affordable compared to what I've paid in the past. I have finally found a stylist that understands my kind of hair, and knows what she's doing. She also makes you feel like a friend that she hasn't seen in a long time. It's refreshing. First time here. I took my 13 yr old daughter to get a haircut. She has long thick hair so I (and she) was nervous because we've used the same stylist for years, but unfortunately she's getting out of the business. So we had to find someone new....and we did! Gigi cut her hair and did a great job. She was a sweetheart and made my daughter feel very comfortable and gave her great tips as well throughout the cut. YAY YAY YAY!! I have finally found "MY SALON". I usually drive out to a very expensive SPA...they do lovely work, but very expensive. The first few minutes in Image Perfect, I was very relaxed and confident that I would be satisfied. Wendy did a wonderful consultation, and explained each step as we went through the French Blonding process. I loved the result, will be back again and again. They also so WAXING!!! Worst experience ever. I asked for a style and I walked away looking like a zebra. I remove my dark hair because I want to have lighter hair and when I went there I showed them a picture with more light colors than dark. I ended up having the base color to be dark again. After four hours plus the money that I paid, I was expecting more. I ended up looking like a zebra and not happy with the dark hair again. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I know there are a lot of new techniques out there to do a better job. Now I know I'm going to need to spend more money somewhere else so they can fix my zebra hair and give me the hair I wanted. read more

Kari is the best. She has been cutting my hair for years and was the first to color my "virgin" hair. Not big on change, but she made me feel comfortable and did an excellent job making a subtle change. And I've continued to go to her for years ever since. Gigi is also an excellent choice. After struggling for weeks with a less than perfect hair cut from a different shop, I made an appointment with GiGi for a hair cut. When I went in, GiGi took the time to really look at my current hair cut, show me what the problems were and then suggested how she thought the situation could be remedied. She went right to work, and even though she was working with previously "chopped" hair instead of a cut, I came out with a great hair cut and a style that is workable. Gotta love that girl!!! Rina is excellent. I called in one day with a hair emergency and she fit me in almost right away. I told her what I thought I needed a keratin treatment and she told me that I didn't really need one. I was floored! Who ever hears of someone telling a client they don't really need an expensive treatment. She gave me some tips and information about hair care that I'd never heard before ~ and I consider myself a hair diva. Rina is my go to now. I have been trying to find another stylist for about 4 years now. My normal hair person is in South Austin and that is just too far to drive now. So I scheduled an appointment online for cut and color but it only scheduled for 1.5 hours. Apparently I scheduled something wrong and they asked me to reschedule for another day. On top of asking me to reschedule I felt like I was being talked down to. I will not be rescheduling, will just keep looking until I find a good one. read more

I booked an appointment online after reading the reviews here and was able to get an appointment the next day. I just moved from North Austin to Leander and I've never committed to a particular salon or stylist. I was a little nervous when I pulled up to the salon as it's in kind of an industrial area with a lot of warehouse but as soon as I walked in I found a brightly-lit and very clean looking salon. I've had my haircut everywhere from cheap SuperCuts type places to higher end salons and I think I've finally found my new go-to. This place is reasonably priced and they even gave me a punch card to get a free haircut after 10 visits. My stylist was Ronni and she was very personable and professional. My biggest pet peeve is going to a fancy salon and having them take 2 hours to cut a couple inches of my hair. She had me in and out in about 45 minutes and gave me a great cut! She was friendly without being overly chatty/invasive (another annoyance for me) and listened to what I wanted. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking to get a good haircut including blow-dry for under $50. read more

I've had my hair color lifted here once before here but I have called day after day to try to do it again and they NEVER answer their phone so I literally can't make another appointment.. I've even tried on their website but it makes you select the technical term for what you want to have done and i don't see mine as even an option and it doesn't allow you to pick a stylist either. And they don't take walk ins. Soooo, I've been trying for like 4 days now and I give up. They have no idea how many customers they're probably losing over people simply not being able to make an appointment. read more

I've been going to Ronnie for about 6 months now and I could not be more pleased. There has not been a time where I haven't gotten exactly what I asked for. The last couple times I have gone in, I've just given her a general idea of what I like and let her take the rest. She's easy to talk to, not at all pushy, and is really friendly. Her prices are also very decent--about $35 for a wash, cut, and blowdry for short hair. She's also quick -- I'm usually in and out in about 45 minutes. I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new stylist. I made an appointment on a Saturday - I have medium-length, fine, curly hair and needed a sleek up-do for attending a wedding. I arrived for my appointment to find a few of the stylists sitting behind the counter texting or playing on their phones, and when I said hello and that I was there for an appointment, one of them got up and halfheartedly told me to follow her. From that point on she was nice enough, but seemed really confused about my explanation of the up-do (despite me showing her photos of it on my phone) and it took her a while to ask if I wanted to flatiron my hair first... which is pretty much a given if you want to go from curly to "sleek." I didn't have a precise idea of what I wanted (not being a hair stylist myself!), but she was not very creative or helpful about coming up with any ideas. I don't have a burning desire for chipper, chatty hair stylists and don't expect over-the-top customer service, but this whole process was unpleasant. In the end, I loved the look of my up-do, but it was not worth the treatment I received or the $50 I paid. I will probably go somewhere else for regular cuts and up-dos in the future... which is unfortunate because this place was so conveniently located for me! read more

Was looking for a new salon, book my appt online and not only was the address incorrect, I was sent a text follow up that my appt was booked and that if I missed there would be a $25 cancellation fee. That's fine if YOU FOLLOW UP AND GAVE THE CORRECT ADDRESS DETAIL LISTED. If this is the level of detail they would have spent on my hair, NO THANKS!! I spent thirty min trying to locate them and nothing. Btw, the phone # does nothing. THERE IS NO ONE TO ANSWER IT IF YIU DO NEED HELP!! Such a joke and total waste of time!!
