I had two recent MRIs at two different locations. I always warn techs about my tricky veins. My prior experience elsewhere was a record setting four attempts at an IV, noting prior record was three. I've been here 3 times so far. 2 for mammograms and one for an MRI and I've been pleased with the process each time. Girls that check in are quick and pleasant. The staff that take you back and perform the procedure are kind as well. I find them to be quick, efficient, professional and kind. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. Stay away. Made me pay in full before I could get seen. Turned out I was Overcharged $750. I asked if this was after my insurance and was told yes. Obviously they never asked my insurance. I did get reimbursed. I also got another $900 bill after I paid up front to get my test. They did say that bill was sent in error. I wonder how many people don't know what to do and just pay bills they receive. I am sure they are ripping off a lot of people. Also, no privacy in this office. Kept sending me out to the waiting room with a big IV needle sticking to my arm for every one to see. Believe me, every one looks at it. Tech was very nice and explained every step but didn't think it was important to close the curtain before he wanted me to lift my shirt to attach leads. Have been here a few times for various reasons. Staff is fine. I don't need super friendly, just respectful and that's exactly how they are. Don't usually have to wait but I can't blame them if I did. I get my results back really quick and can look at them online myself and the drs notes read more

They are a solid minus 1. very dysfunctional . One person tells you to go to radiology and sit there and other comes yelling at the patient on why they went there. They loose your insurance card which they did not actually need because thats part of registration. Inspite of bringing prior scan on cd and telling them to compare as advised by doctor ,they write no prior history known on report(because comparison is more work). last but not least 3 months latter they send a bill for a payment already done inspite of confirming 1 month earlier they had no bill and I am now waiting an hour on phone now to rectify that. read more

Received a prescription for mri and was recommended by my orthopedic office to come here. Because it's close near home and have flexibility weekend hours, I made an appointment. They will work with your insurance company and if there's any issues, you will be contacted ASAP. I made an appointment on Sunday morning. Yes, I know I'm bad for not attending church, but here I am checked in with my id and insurance card. Within minutes, I was called in the technician and I changed out of my clothes into a provided hospital robe. I suggest leaving all jewelry at home and values away. There no locker. Your personal belongings will be left in the room unattended. Other than that, the technician will guide you what angle to lay down and provide any pillow wedge necessary. It is a closed mri so good thing I'm not claustrophobic. You'll be given ear plugs to limit the loud volume coming from the mri machine. Once the mri is completed, you can go back to the change your clothes and at the receptionist desk, pick up a cd of the mri images. The report finding is provided a week later online. You'll be given and code to enter online to view/print your report. The doctors office will automatically receive the same report. This place has great hours, parking, it's clean. Service is friendly. I total recommend them. read more

A terrible experience from Start to Finish, my first time at this location. Kept me waiting for the Tech with a full Bladder, as per the instructions for the scan I was scheduled to have. Also kept me waiting for the second scan, a Mammogram, for a half-hour before I asked what was going on. I was charged a CoPay of $30 when my insurance does NOT require one for either scan--an incompetent front desk. With the exception of the Tech who did the Mammo, who was apologetic and professional, the others would do better in a different setting, truly sub-standard efficiency. The office itself is unkept and dated, with stained upholstered chairs in the main waiting area; the Restroom was a joke, completely non-functional stalls, (the kind that you need to maneuver in because the bowl is dead center upon opening the door), the lighting in the place is dark, the rugs old and dirty. Very rude staff at check in. When I called I was told X-rays are walk in and there's no need to make an appointment as there is no wait. Upon arrival I asked how long the wait was and was told "I don't know, maybe 10-20 minutes" with a nasty attitude. On top of it, the receptionist asked me how to process my insurance. Isn't that your job? Then she had the audacity to talk negatively about me and how I told her to process the insurance to another employee RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Very unprofessional. Embarrassing to say the least. Hear all these side conversations about the receptionists personal lives while another one is sitting there burping. Took an hour before I was taken to get x-rays. Stay Away from this place. Go to University Radiology Group instead. 1. They do not adhere to appointment times. 2. They expect payment for exam PRIOR to insurance being billed. So if your insurance ends up covering the full amount of exam, you now have to do the work for these scammers to refund you. I don't think it's fair to hear another patient asking if they can bill his insurance first and them rudely telling him no, it's their policy and he wouldn't be seen. AGAIN... Billing dept sucks. I paid a bill in July 2022, and provided a Proof of Payment (1-day electronic payment) in August, but they kept sending me the same bill every month for 6+ months. I had to call them every month to explain the same, but they didn't do shit. Couldn't speak to a supervisor either. They said supervisor would call me back. Who knows whether it would ever happen. read more

We came in an hour earlier for an appointment in case the safety measurements but still they made us wait another extra hour and they don't care to notify you about it at all. No coordination between employees and their patients. Patience came in 45 minutes later then us already left before us. It is ridiculous how they think people don't have things to do but sit all day for an ultrasound. Basically for 10 minutes ultrasound we waitlisted 2and half hours. When I arrive at the office they tell me that my appointment is for the following Friday because the insurance had not authorized it and I told them that they had told me for that Friday. and another woman who did not want to show her face was somewhere else while I was talking to the receptionist, she just repeated and repeated her appointment is for the following Friday and I told the receptionist I understand that but why they did not call me. there the woman who did not see her face returned to repeat her appointment is the following Friday. lack of professionalism and education. I wish there was something less than one star. Please do not go to these facilities, I had gotten an MRI from them back in May and needed another one done this September. I called to schedule the appointment and I tried to get one on a Saturday and they insisted they had never had Saturday appointments, when I had received one on a Saturday back in May. They asked for a script, and they said they were going to contact the doctor on my behalf and to stay on the line. They then hung up on me. I called again and told them I would contact the doctor and have them fax the script they took my info. My doctor faxed the script but when I called again New Jersey imaging did not have it. This went on several times between doctor and NJ imaging. I then received a call for NJ imaging asking about scheduling and I tried but they could not find any record of me. The woman argued with me that I had not seen them since 2014! This continued for a while until she realized she was looking at a different patients record. Once again, they had no record of the script. I had to go to my doctor's office to get it. I finally received my appointment for 3 o'clock filled out the pre appointment confirmation the day prior and confirmed my appointment. The day of the appointment I was fasting and not drinking as I was ordered when mid-day, I receive WE ARE SORRY YOU COULD NOT MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TEXT. I checked on my appointment link and I could no longer access my information. I called and was on hold for a half hour until I talked to someone, they put me on hold for another 15 so they could find out what happened. She told me they had no tech at the office, and they had to cancel if I would like to reschedule. NO APOLOGIES FOR WASTING MY TIME or not having the courtesy to call and tell me it was not me missing the appointment but something at their end. This is terrible customer service. Avoid them unless you want to be screwed over. read more

I've had MS since 2011 and I've been going MRI and other imaging at least two times a year since. I've also been employed in the healthcare medical industry for 15 years. The customer service that I received from the first call I made to schedule appointment till walking out the door from my MRI was hands-down amazing! When Im having a flareup it's a very difficult time for me, mentally and emotionally and physically. The men and woman that work at this Imaging Center helped me more then they will ever know. Valerie the woman who scheduled my appointment. She is God sent! She had so much patience. In the past when I attempt to communicate during a flare, I've had people become frustrated and even hang up. Valerie really cared and wanted to help me get the appointment not matter how long it took. Thank you Valerie! read more

If you ask her multiple questions she will be pissed at you.. seriously ??? You are working at a front desk you need to be good to your customers...she will focus on eating her snacks rather than answering your questions. No patience at all. It's all a numbers game and they only want money from you. BEWARE!!!! Highway Robbery. They lie about your results, about your Mammograms to make you return this way they can make money off of you. Your health insurance gets billed incorrectly and your left with a huge bill then in a matter of seconds goes to collections. They have so many lawsuits against themselves as well. I just wanted to say how great the young gentleman was who performed my ct scan this morning. He was extremely polite and professional. I unfortunately didn't stomach the dye, but he didn't make me feel embarrassed or awkward. I just wanted to thank him for making my visit as normal and comfortable as possible. I was referred by my physician for a chest x-ray to NJIN of edison. Just to confirm about the prices, I asked the front desk lady (Indian lady) few questions. She got annoyed and responded awfully. She was so rude and didn't even gave me clear answer about the price as if I am inquiring about something wrong. This is how you treat your customers? Your are at the front desk, you should calmly respond to your customers for questions they may have regarding NJIN services. Worst customer service. read more

Terrible experience at this place. Ended up at the emergency room due to their bad procedures. Was scheduled for a CT scan, was given the Barium to drink the morning of my appointment. Got there and was told that my appointment had been cancelled and they would not perform the CT scan. Whoever called me to cancel my appointment dialed the wrong number so I never got the message. Didn't receive any instructions with the Barium, and ended up with extreme abdominal pain next day plus an emergency room visit and hundreds of dollars in Bills for the emergency visit. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. read more

She could not finish the procedure. She is now in more pain than when she went there . If we had read and taken the first review seriously . We would not have went . My family and I have been patients at Dra of Edison for many years and I totally disagree with the reviews above. The patient care from the second you walk in the door is outstanding. As a former cancer patient in remission for over a year, I would not want anyone else reading my exams especislly Dr. Chakravarty. She makes me feel so comfortable and can tell she takes pride in her work! Dra of edison is a perfect example of patient care with excellent employees and radiologist! read more
