However, the true character of this…read moredaycare's leadership was revealed when my child suffered a severe classroom dental trauma under their supervision. According to the daycare's report, another child threw a wooden block at my child's face, resulting in two broken teeth. The impact was so severe that his teeth were broken into pieces and embedded inside his swollen lip, leaving his dental nerves completely exposed. Despite the severity of this medical emergency, the facility waited 90 minutes before notifying me. I was kept completely unaware of the pain my child was in during this entire time, denying me the ability to comfort him or immediately seek emergency medical care. When management finally called, they attempted to minimize the situation, stating that "he is fine now." The lack of accountability only escalated. A week later, when I requested photographic updates to ensure my child was safely able to eat properly, the director became hostile and stated that it was "not their policy." There have been several other incidents from this administration that ultimately made it impossible for our family to continue at this daycare, including the administration's response that pointed heavily toward a personal vendetta or racial bias. One year later, we are still actively dealing with the long-term dental and emotional repercussions. At this point, due to the severity of the nerve damage, we have had to put our child through a painful tooth extraction, even though he still has many years left before his permanent teeth can come in. The dentist has also informed us that we have to wait and see whether there has been permanent damage to the adult teeth underneath. Accidents happen, but minimizing a severe injury and displaying hostility toward parental transparency is entirely unacceptable. Parents in the Greenwood area deserve a facility that partners with families during a crisis, rather than using intimidation to silence hurting parents. I hope that sharing our experience spares other families the regret and heartache that we have endured from this daycare.

For the infants, there are three rooms with eight babies in each room. And moving onward from that age, there are more and more kids due to less caretakers per child ratios. The staff were welcoming and gave us a tour. They shared the fact that they are open from 7 AM to 6 PM and you can drop off and pick up your child whenever you need to during that window. They also give you the option to do part time and pick the days you would like to attend. Each year, they offer two weeks of vacation where you can skip the tuition for that week. They also seem to have fun events like picture day, egg hunts, child recognition ceremonies, and more. We are happy we stumbled across this spot for our daughter.

They need major improvement, especially in management. I don't see this business lasting long-term. Our son (7mo now) has been going since he was 3mo old and I have peace of mind knowing he's well cared for in the infant room. They don't just put your baby in a bouncer and call it a day. They interact with the babies and give them age appropriate activities to make sure they're hitting their milestones and giving them love and attention. My daughter has loved all of her teachers and even grown a special bond with one of the teachers she's gotten to have in her infant room and her toddler room. It's the sweetest! The toddler room seems so fun for our new 2 year old with lots of arts and crafts and learning activities (she learned how to count to five in what seemed like a week)! They also have a Spanish class every day which I love. The new gym they recently added on is really nice for the kids during gym time- it's just like an elementary size school gym so lots of room for kids to get rid of energy. The building is well kept and they've been doing upgrades as needed- they just got new floors. The staff has always been very kind and helpful! Krista the director has been amazing!
