Their new web registration is a bit convoluted. I liked the old web registration better. However, whenever I need to make a reservation, I just call the center and do it over the phone. It's my way of bypassing the not so user friendly new web registration. I'll recommend the center to any friend of mine any day.

Their facility is brand new and spotless. Each stage of children development has there own room. The teachers are nice and considerate. My kid loves his new school and friends. He is given homework regularly and I'm kept in touch via the app they use. At the front desk the lady is always pleasant and nice I love this school 10/10.

i am giving a 4 star review for newark public schools cause i was a substitute teacher for one…read moreschool year in 2005 during my finding my purpose in life phase and i loved the kids and faculty but the folks running the school not so much. the kids did not come from privilege backgrounds but they had a thirst for learning and it was a great challenge for the other teachers and i but it took a draining toll on me and my teaching phase went out of business after one school year. its not easy being a sub as i was not able to really teach world history but rather be a baby sitter for 7th graders. . i did have some benefical moments as the teacher i was subbing for was out for a month for personal reasons and i was able to have control of the class teaching about world war 1 and 2 to a room full of 35 students who for the most part were listening and learning. when i look back ,teaching in newark nj was not easy and i dont regret the experience and i tip my hat to all the teachers who do.

All 3 of my children attended Playhouse. The experience…read moreevery single day felt like love in action. The way the staff communicates to the children with active listening continues to inform all of my human interactions. Playhouse still has our hearts. I won't take the Playhouse bumper sticker off of my minivan- even though our last child graduated 2 years ago. We heard about LPP from our neighbors, and we are lucky we did. Our son started at Le Parc Place…read morepreschool at 2.5 and is now 4. From the outset we have had a great experience. Nadia the director helped us figure out a schedule to transition him in before he was full time. Then this was his first time in full time care and all of the teachers were so warm and caring that he was immediately eager to go to school every day. It is a fairly small school so our son was thrilled to get to know some of the "big" kids and eager to move up a class each year. He constantly amazes us with all he has learned at LPP and he loves the enrichment classes he takes like art, dance, science, and music. Since the school is in downtown Maplewood, the kids get to spend outdoor time in Memorial Park, walk over to the library, and explore on walks. We greatly appreciate the great hours as two commuting parents. Most important to us is how we see LPP helping our son become a kind and caring citizen of the world. He loves to "play play play" at school and we see how he is doing that and much more at LPP. Can't wait to send our younger child there when she is old enough!
