I think they are mistaking people who are naturally shy or introverted (typical comic book readers?) with being unfriendly or unwilling to help. When I've taken the time to engage with the guys who work here I've had nothing but great experiences, digging through crates to find a certain story arc with my favorite characters, getting recommendations based on other things I've enjoyed, having variant covers set aside until they're ready to go on sale, etc. I'm always greeted by someone at either door when I walk in, and even though they know me by now they always ask if they can help me find anything. I don't know what people are expecting. Complimentary tiramisu? Overall this place is a great regular stop if you're a comic book, tabletop or action figure/memorabilia collector and I strongly disagree with reviews stating that the customer service is lukewarm. But before I go too much on a feminist rant, I did find some other really cool stuff here. Everything in this store is imported from Asia. I found all this awesome Nintendo merchandise like Mario, Yoshi, and Princess keychains, key-lights, and wallets. I wanted to buy so many of these things, and I'm already thinking about Christmas presents for people (and myself!). They even had a little stuffed doll of Domokun--you know that cute, brown character from that popular poster that says, "Every time you masturbate... Since I couldn't find it, I asked the sales associate if they had it. He checked with another associate and yes, they had it. They didn't have a dedicated hanger for it and it was behind another product. The packaging looked worn like it had been there for a year, or years. The last time I went, I bought a model paint rack for my husband as a gift. I asked the associate where it was as I thought this would save time than me trying to find it. They only had one left and the box was dented it but it had plastic covering it. The words on the box were written in Japanese but I hoped it wouldn't require much assembly. There always seems to be enough staff available to ask for help, if needed. The prices seem a little high but being in the mall, I would expect a bit of a mark up. I don't think the return policy is great, but then again, they wouldn't want people opening products or using them and then bringing them back. Decent store for those who like models and needs supplies, board games, and anime products.

I've been finding it really hard to find a great looking, functional diaper bag at all, let alone something that's going to work for both me and my husband. They had several in our allotted diaper bag budget that fit the bill. They also had the cuts selection of wooden soother clips. The girl working was very helpful and willing to answer questions while still giving us space to browse on our own, which I appreciate. Some places find it hard to strike that balance. Having been to several candy stores in several cities in the last few weeks, I feel I can leave a fair review for Rocket Fizz based on one visit. Visually the store layout is very appealing. Items are beautifully displayed on various countertops, and cleanly organized into wall strips. Bottles upon bottles of colourful carbonated beverages of every flavour adorn the lower shelves, and are also available in two large coolers next to the checkout. I'd actually be a little nervous to bring a child or a clumsy person with me! The place is spotlessly clean and very wholesome looking in a 1950s diner kind of way. As other reviewer noted, there are no loose or bulk candies, other than salt water taffy. This is probably a good thing, COVID notwithstanding. Who really wants to eat the stale raunchy candy halfway down a pile or a giant jar anyway? There are some candies which typically come bulk that are already neatly packaged and on display, but not much selection. I was a little disappointed with the selection overall. For example, all the KitKat and other chocolate products seemed to be quite heavily focused on white chocolate. There was a small KitKat section near the back of the store, but there were only 2 flavours, green tea and sake. Other notable flavours were birthday cake and apple pie. I feel like they got stuck with the flavours that are lousy sellers. There's a small jar of little one-bite KitKats at the checkout, yet they don't sell them in packs. Huh? One thing they had in abundance was Walkers toffee and liquorice products, including little liquorice gummy Scottie dogs. The Hammonds chocolate bars come in a delicious range of flavours, like coconut cream pie. We went to purchase a pokemon lego item that was in the box that said $3, there were multiple. There were at least 10 - 12 in the box. There was no acknowledgement just telling us it would be full price and asking if we wanted it. It was tagged at a certain price it should have been adjusted as the scanning code of practice states. When i said that i was ignored and asked if there would be anything else. When I said it should be the price it is tagged at, they rang my son through and I was told to have a good day. That is not right. It was tagged at a certain price with multiple of the same item in the box. If that is how Indigo operates I will not shop here any more.

This Chapters is tucked away within Sherwood Park and seems to be popular with locals and those of us here on business looking for a place to hang out during our free time. The book selection is decent and the magazine section is generous. There's also a coffee shop attached and a good selection of stationary, journals, and gifts.
