I went for the appointment figuring the cost would be the typical $60 to $80 rate. Wendy charged me an outrageous $190 FOR A SIMPLE ROOTS TOUCH UP & BLOW DRY! No haircut involved. As she told me the price she said, "no need to add a gratuity, it's included in the price. SHE JUST ADDED IN A TIP FOR HERSELF WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! Who does that? It's so unprofessional, unethical and scammy! Her cost was already appallingly over the top for a simple roots job! Why does she think she deserves a tip on top of that? I should never have paid that inflated amount. I called Wendy Wendy when I got home to ask if she could give me some credit back for the overcharge. She said she'd consider it and call me back. The spa itself is extremely clean and calming. The robes are so soft and the waiting room is extremely peaceful. The sauna is beautiful (couldn't use it because I'm pregnant). And you can access the spa amenities the entire day and access the pool. Now for the massage. I don't think the massage is with the hefty price tag by any means. For $300 for a 50 minute prenatal massage is already a steep price, and I'd rate the massage a 1/5. I know there are precautions that masseuses need to take when pregnant, but I felt no different after my massage. She applied the lightest pressure possible and basically it felt like I had 50 Minutes of lotion being rubbed in. She wouldn't touch my feet and maybe spent 5 seconds (not exaggerating) on each leg. There were times where she would just apply light pressure and pause there for a minute or more. She was very nice but for what I paid for it felt like a HUGE waste of money. So if you're getting a prenatal massage, I would go elsewhere. Also, when we were at the pool, we ordered a sparkling water with lime and were served a vodka soda, and had to find out the hard way after taking a sip and almost spitting it out. It's a gorgeous resort, but I don't think I'll be returning except to the restaurant.

Throughout the time, there are a few incident of her customer services on how she talks to me seems off and rude. However, I ignored it. Her quality of her work was good when i started and I stayed with her for a couple oF years. Starting last year and this year, her quality of her services been lacking and making excuses of why lashes kept falling off so quickly. It was after 3-4 days, I noticed half of my lashes were off. She used a "bonding agent" on my lashes, and it seems as it was workign. And then she stoppped for whatever reason. I had talked to my other co workers as we also are Havign the same issues with her. My co workers even told me that she wouldn't even put bonding agent on them Even after they told her about the problems as she was trying not to use too much of her materials. There are multiple incidents that I have to wait extra 10 minutes for her to finished her previous clients before my service starts. So the last booking I had with her, I mentioned I would be late for 10 min, since she called me to reschedule the night before since she was sick. So she asked me if I can come in tomorrow and I said yes. It was a Last minute rescheduling from her and I told her I would be late fOr 10 minutes. I got there 8 minutes late. She did her work. And I did felt my lashes weren't full as how it was before. I even asked her, should I give myself a rest of not havign extension so my lashes can grow. She told me ' no, keep coming, try to do it every 2 weeks' so after 3-4 days , half of my lashes were gone again , and I tried to be so extra careful of taking care of it the fact I know it wasn't full since the beginning. And I paid $75.00 and usually I tipped her, but the last two times I didn't because it was just off with her services. I texted her and I asked if it is because "WE" didn't use the bonding agent ( she didn't apply that time ) and she immediately got offended and texted me back that she doesn't do baby lashes ( which makes sense) AnD tHat I was late for 10 minutes therefore I don't get the full services PLUs " thanks for your thoughts this early mornin" I even ignored her attitude problems ( and she does it once awhile if you ask her questions about her work or anything with schedules) I explained to her to let me know how me being 10 affected my lashes and I rather pay extra for that extra 10 min since I drove 40 mins to her room. And I would take notes of it. And she responded unprofessionally telling me not to come back if I don't like her services and her work. This girl, instead of understanding and tryign to work with me professionally and guide me to understand the process . She gets butt hurt and have attitude problems with whatever she is going through. She doesn't really care about her clients or potentially losing them. I would not recommend anyone to go to her for the price she is charging plus her attitude and unprofessionalism manner. I don't usually go out there to write a review like this unless is necessary to protect others for paying $$-$$$$ and then get blame with an attitude with no solutions.
