Seriously. Look up next time you're there. It'll kick your sweet tooth into high gear. The girls at the reception desk are friendly and offer you coffee/tea/the moon while you wait for your appointment. There are plenty of hair & beauty mags to leaf through for some last-minute inspiration. All salon services start with a free stress-relieving head & neck massage (as is custom with most Aveda salons). In my experience, the stylists have all been attentive, friendly, and efficient - and their work is excellent. They know how to cut hair in such a way that it not only looks gorgeous in the salon, but also after you wash it and even as it grows out. The prices are on the higher end of the scale (especially if you see a senior stylist), but considering the quality of the cut and the excellent service, the prices are very fair. I can't personally vouch for the other services offered here (colour, facials, massages), but I did buy my mum a massage package for Mother's Day a couple years ago and she loved it. The top layer is at my ears and is so thick (thicker than my bottom layer). Bottom layer is at shoulders. I have 2 layers only. It's such a bad hair cut that I can't even "curl" it into something nice. That is saying something.
