Amazing service and lovely salon. I have been going to Helen for over a year now and I absolutely loved my nails every single time!

I went here about 3 days ago to get a basic pedicure and acrylic nails. by far the worst acrylics I have ever gotten. the lady who did my acrylics rushed and used dip powder on my nails. she cracked my nail bed and cut my skin. She did not file or shape my nails they looked crooked and like literal blobs. On top of that I asked for basic short black nails nothing complicated, and I got charged 70$ for a slap in the face. The pedicure was okay but way too overpriced. I asked for regular polish and still got charged about 45$. do not waste your time or money. read more

By far the WORST pedicure job I've ever had. Kim rushed, made no effort to shape or clean my nail beds. Cut really short but did not shape At All. She made the motions of cleaning the nail beds, but so fast as to pass for doing something. As you can see she did nothing. Skin left untidy, streaks in the paint, nail beds not trimmed at all, crooked nails, and ugly horizontal cuts with no shaping. This is the poor quality $57 will get you. Burned my nail and cut my cuticle after I said that nail burned. It's apparently my fault for having thin cuticles (not true). If you look at the pointer finger I'm missing a spot where it was shaved down too far. They're not clean cut it was most painful. I kept telling her it burned and it burned more when she would squeeze my nail bed and hold it - creating pressure and heat = more pain to a burned / filled off nail bed Painful experience and not good work :( read more

I switched up from my normal nail salon to come here with a friend. While the atmosphere is nice and the people were attentive, I don't know that I would come back based on how my nails look. They aren't *bad* by any means, just not as clean as I prefer them to be. I got dipping powder, so I know that can be a challenge--but still :) A few of my nails are filed unevenly as well. Not terrible by any means, the price was good, and they worked quick. I would just rather have had it take a bit longer if it meant that my nails would look cleaner. New owners, pretty much the same staff. You can type in your number for points instead of the stamp card I like the new massage chairs, the owners are peppier and nicer. The main reason why I liked the former Sweet Desire the most was because of the paraffin wax treatment included in the pedicures. I love this place! The girls are friendly and the place is clean! I went in to get a regular mani/pedi. My pedi came with the scrub, paraffin wax and hot stones for only $35! They have multiple colors to choose from in regular, shellac and dip. I will be back in two weeks to try the dip! read more

I have been coming to this location for a few years now, but not consistently because I have a few different places. I guess they have new owners because the name changed. Pricing seems pretty much the same, so that's good. Everything was okay, but I think the massage could be a little longer. For both, they put the lotion/oil on and kind of rub for a minute or so. Just left my legs and arms feeling greasy with no real benefit. Also, when I paid, she over charged me $10 and instead of fixing it told me the $10 could be the tip. I didn't argue but it just didn't sit well with me because that's not for her to decide. It's a mediocre place. I'm sure I'll be back because it's clean and they do a decent job. Was treated rudely when I first walked in, was my first time there and wasn't sure how things worked. I got a full set and wasn't even asked what shape I wanted she just went ahead and did coffin and I wasn't aware of the 5+ charge till the end of the service. I will never go there again! I ended up getting an older lady who did not seem to know what to do. She didn't even make sure my big toe nails were the same size. She cut my left toe nail very short and my right toe nail left it long! The lady wears glasses I forgot her name! Please ask to wait for someone else if you get her. I have come here a couple of times and have never been wowed, but this past time was the nail in the coffin. I always do shellac and as the man (I think Jay was his name) started taking off my shellac, he told me I should do dip nails instead. I declined, but he continued to pressure me and finally just said "I'm going to do dip nails for you"...I basically didn't have a choice. He RUINED the surface of my nails by filing with the electric filer because "that's what you have to do", and then did one of the worst manicures I've ever had. It has been 4 days since I got my nails done, and I am not kidding when I say that EVERY SINGLE ONE of my nails is chipped and/or broken (which NEVER happens). I am so disappointed and am pretty sure its going to take a very long time for my nails to get in good shape again. They are not bad at shellac, but beware of anything else. read more

I went in for a dip and a pedicure. Very friendly people and welcoming. The lady working on my feet was great. I was going to get a certain color for the dip on my nails. I was looking for a white with pink tint and chose my powder. I finally found it and was ready for them to begin. The guy dips the first tips of it when the color when he suddenly gets up and gets a different powder..... I was confused as to why he did that but did not say anything. Luckily I am not too picky as long as the shape comes out nice, which it did. The only thing I was not too satisfied with was the lack of care he had for my cuticles and skin around the nail. He scraped and cut about 6 areas with the buffer and have very tender skin now. I don't think I would go back because of the amount I paid vs what I received. It was great at first until the end. I'm just hoping my skin won't get infections and will clean with antiseptic. read more

This was previously Sweet Desire Nail Lounge. This was my nail salon that I have been going to for 5 years. After new management, I will not be returning. Prices are ridiculously more expensive and the services do not include as much per package. It makes no sense. My shellac manicure chipped within 4 days, and that never happened before all the changes. The familiar faces that stayed on the staff are unfortunately not enough to make me a returning regular customer. read more

Ok so I've been coming here consistently and the service provided is very good but a few things kind of made me alert so I thought I'd share. I came here to get one nail fixed and a color change which is $13. (I have their service menu). Like most nail shops the techs always try to influence you to get more than what you came for done but it was 7pm & they closed at 7:30 so I didn't want to be there longer than they were open plus I didn't need a refill the woman kept & kept insisting but I only had my set for a week I just needed two things done. When it was time to pay she said it was $15. I've been to nail shops and received an entire refill just for that price she added $2 extra for no reason. It may not seem like much but it's just a warning to know exactly what your set costs b/c it's clear they will nickle & dime you in hopes of getting more $. I always tip 20% so I'm not sure why she did that. The day before I also came & got a shellac color change on my pedicure and it was $35 for a simple color change..my feet didn't even get soaked or scrubbed. So this IS a pricey nail salon. I suggest knowing the exact costs of what you're getting before hand. read more

I used to come here religiously when it was Sweet Desire. The staff is different with the exception of a couple people. The new staff is very rude. I had 3 different people work on my hands and feet and they cut my nail beds, filed off my nail beds harshly while taking my shellac off. They charge you $12 if you want to take shellac off and get regular polish on. My polish looks like a child did it. I'm never going here again. read more

Caveat: I don't get my nails done that often, but I had some shellac to remove from an event and it was past due, so I popped in on my way home from work to get it removed and a regular nail color on over it. First impression: man it's crowded! It was a rush period, but the layout of the shop may have contributed... it's deep but narrow, and they have only one table and then two rows of massage chairs for pedicures, so I got my manicure in a massage chair. They're so close together that my neighbor's massage chair caused my chair to shake. I don't know what their normal clientele is like, so maybe it makes sense for them, but I think a few more tables instead of chairs might be nice! Thoughts by the end: Things went great! Kenny was methodical and detailed, and also had a good sense of humor when I messed up a nail in the middle of things. I've very happy with the work. One staff member was floating to help out different customers as needed, which I thought was smart. Given the circumstances, I was comfortable, and it was very clean and tidy inside. I saw one customer get a dip nail and it looked GREAT. The hand massage was excellent too! I will definitely return if I need to. read more

I started coming to this location when it was Sweet Desire over 6 years ago. Although they've changed owners recently, they continue to do an excellent job. Always welcoming you with a smiling face and are extremely helpful. They have an excellent selection of colors and can get you in and out quickly. I would suggest getting an appointment if you can as they get fairly packed especially on the weekends. Recently Jimmy did a refill for me and I couldn't ask for better service. I splurged in a $60 manicure (overlay with a chrome finish) thinking it was going to look beautiful! Chrome wasn't properly sealed and it came Off two days later, I live about 25 miles away and couldn't come right away. When I came they said I was 1 day late and I needed to re-do the whole thing and pay all over, I explained that there was no need and I only wanted to re-do color which would cost $15, the lady said I needed to get a full set and do it from "scratch". I told them that i didn't believe that was necessary but if it was the only solution A significant discount should be offered due to the fact it it came off due to their technician not properly sealing my manicure. They refused to stand behind their job and said I needed to pay for another set which I did not see the need for a full set. The lady called the "manager" who offered the funny discount of 15% off. I needed up going to a much honest and not so money hungry salon where they fixed my color for $15. Funny another salon could act with honesty! read more
