I really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the game itself was a lot of fun. The game was engaging, and our group had a great time working together. Unfortunately, the room was extremely HOT!. There was no A/C or air circulation inside the game box, and since the experience lasts about 60 minutes and requires you to move around quite a bit, it became very uncomfortable. Instead of focusing on the game, we found ourselves thinking about how hot it was. If the temperature issue is addressed, I think this would be a much more enjoyable experience. The game is definitely worth trying, but the lack of ventilation took away from what could have been a great experience. read more

More than a fun time it is a blast! My boys and I have been here several times and it is always fun. Very interactive... and you have to move so it is good for you. A Team sport that will have you rolling in laughter for sure. Each game is an hour, go on line and book your time and game, then head over and have the time of your life! Amazing experience for date night. You truly immersed into the game. We played maybe 3 games within an hour range. My date picked the Squid Games and I can honestly say it was so much fun. It honestly helped us grow closer when it came to strategizing on how to win. Spacious area and amazing staff as well. We came early to Che k in the boys as one of the celebrated his 18th birthday. The doors were closed and no one was in sight. Our appt was for 11:0AM, they opened the doors at exactly 11AM. We had seven boys, the reservation did say (or we didn't notice) the game only allows 6 kids per room. So one of the kiddos could not go with his friends. The guys said it was cool, kinda cheese but they made the best of the squid game. There was not much else said..... Parking was easy because we got there early. It was a mess by Noon. It was extremely hot the game box! Which made it extremely hard to enjoy the experience. We were told that due to the capacity the facility was hot. During the experience, we had a chance to order beverages twice. Also, I think it was more for kids and not as interactive as other places we've been like the VR Sandbox and Activate Atlanta. read more

Immersive Gamebox was a lot of fun. It's pretty interactive so get ready to get moving. It's in the Avalon, so there is free parking (which is a plus). The actual inside of the building was not all that large but it had a lot of little rooms here and there (some with a couple people and some with several). They are super nice. All of my party wasn't there at the same time so they gave me grace and told me that I would not lose my spot so that was nice of them. They have drinks there if you get thirsty (not a lot of hard liquor so don't expect a bar) so that's nice. You have to make a reservation, and while you are online making your reservation, you are going to go on and pick your game. They have all of the options on the site. We did the Ghostbusters one and it was mad fun. They put your hat on you to play the game and then give you instructions. The game actually had a whole story to it, it wasn't mindlessly moving, which I liked. The games are very active so you are in a glass room with the walls lit up with the game screen. The walls are touchable so you will be doing that a lot. You have to move all around, so if you want to stand in one spot, this is not the place for you! You play the game, and get to the end and get a highlight video reel, which is also cool. I would definitely do this again. read more

This was my first time to this location. I went with a friend. For two of us for a 1 hour experience it was about $72. We were checked in by friendly staff. All the interior mechanics seemed to be working. We did the Escape room. Loved the addition of the drinks provided -- I'm a fan of Simply Lemonade seltzers, and I loved the opportunity to step out my comfort zone and interact with other people from Yelp! I do wish the organizing groups process was a bit more seamless but I think that has less to do with Yelp and more to do with the actual business. First off, it was cool just to be in the room! We're talking bleeding edge technology! You're enclosed in LEDs, with touch sensitivity in the side panels and an impressive movement tracker. It's so much fun being able to play video games by running around the room! The Squid game branding via Netflix made the game much more exciting! It was cool hearing the voices and music from the show. As I was driving up, I was wondering how they were going digitize the tug-a-war game from the show, well it ended up being really fun because you have to sync your timing with another person, and run around the room some more. You could prob burn some calories in there lol. Fun date night or perfect place to take the kids. This should entertain pretty much anyone. I've done a few interactive/virtual reality activities in Atlanta, but this one was unlike the others in the best way! Hands down the most fun interactive game I've ever played!!! We did Squid Games and immersive Gamebox did a great job of creating a similar experience to the series. There weren't any glitches, it was seamless and quite accurate as far as touch and response time which made the game that more fun. The games were challenging and it was so cool to be immersed in this well loved show for myself and partner. Our team member did a great job of explaining the rules to us which set the tone for the entire hour. Thank you, Hailey! We thought the experience was priced perfectly and it included a gif at the end that was emailed to us :) Located in the Avalon shopping center, parking was easy and the scenery is nice to walk around before or after if you've never been. Definitely worth the drive up to Alpharetta! Please go, you won't regret it. This is the second time we've been to Immersive Game Box. The first time we did the Squid Games room. As someone that has not seen the show, it was a lot of fun! I was a little worried that I'd get sick as I am prone to experience motion sickness. When you enter, it's a private room and each person gets a visor with the sensor on it. The room is pretty big for you to walk around and interact without bumping into each other. A group of 4 of us went on a Sunday night for a 7pm Escape AI game. When we arrived we were asked to check in and sign waivers and then directed to our designated game room. Escape AI was a lot of fun and a different type of escape room that we have not experienced before and we've played a lot of escape rooms prior. I knocked one star off because there were a few questions that we had regarding the puzzles that we wanted to know the answer to. The host/staff member told us they didn't know the answer and didn't seem to do anything about it. I just want to know what the right answer is! Overall, our group had a great time and we're already booked to come back and try the Ghostbusters room. read more

My husband came to immersive gamebox for a day date and we had a great time! We chose the 60 min squid game and it was definitely more fun and physical than I expected. There are I believe 5 or 6 mini games within the 60 mins and you can earn points by working with your partner (or team). I definitely recommend wearing comfy, active clothing and sneakers because you will be moving. You have the option to order drinks (alcohol and soda/water) two different times during the game. The man who checked us in when we arrived was very friendly and informational. The entire place was clean and well decorated for the theme. Parking We parked in the first level of the parking garage. It is right across from Immersive Gamebox. Venue We arrived an hour early but were allowed to enter 30 minutes early. My spouse and I had a room to ourself. I'm glad we did because 6 would have been a crowd. We chose Squid Games. OMG this is a very active game. Just like the movie, red light green light was actually hard. The graphics and sound are amazing. You also get a video after you finish the game. This is definitely a do over for us. read more

Last night I had the strangest dream... I was in a high tech box with touch sensitive walls and me and five other people collaborated as a team to learn a variety of games where the funny hat I wore tracked my body movement. We laughed, danced a bit, had a drink or two and made friends who were once strangers. When I awoke this morning, I looked at my phone and realized it was all very real and the gifs emailed from the adventure brought smiles again. Okay, before you think I had a drunk night or I'm crazy, I better add some color to my review. I'm a 50+ woman and not in the best physical condition so I wondered if I was too old to enjoy this gaming experience. I was wrong to be concerned. There IS certainly movement required with some bending or squatting but it's not intense at all. You can do it! Let yourself laugh and have fun as you collaborate with your teammates. Came here for the first time as part of a yelp event. We paired up in groups of 6 and the employee went over all the rules before the game. Squid game was a blast and I'd highly recommend. It took us an hour to play the whole game. You get to take a group picture which was a fun end to the night. It's a bit pricey but worth checking out. read more

Pretty glitchy, we did the kid one for paw patrol. Not sure if adult ones would be more fun but the glitchiness and it not working was pretty annoying and the people who worked there didn't seem to care. It's basically the same as what they have at those kids play places where you throw balls at the wall, or "catch fish" on the wall, except this one was glitchier than the playplaces. The software or whatever they use seems not calibrated or old, definitely NOT worth $100, we were very disappointed. My kid had fun but just because it was paw patrol otherwise he would have been over it. read more

Funnnn ! Not at all what I expected but I loved every minute. We decided to come as a couple group and play Hunger Games (6 of us). I imagined myself with virtual glasses but instead they provide a hat with a little anchor on top. You have to move very carefully as you navigate through each game - it was soooo much fun. You even have an option to order drinks from your game room. Immersive Gamebox recently opened less than a month ago and they have immersive VR experiences for people of all ages! They have games geared more towards older teens/ adults, such as Squid Game, but also have Paw Patrol for ages 3+. We went with a 5 year old so naturally Paw Patrol was the move. However, as someone who has never watched Paw Patrol, I had an absolute blast and the hour flew by. I also love that you get a private room regardless of how big or small your group is. You'll be running all over the room and will definitely get a workout in! My only "complaint" is the temperature at Immersive Gamebox. It was freezing, but, in some ways, I understand because people are moving around a lot in the rooms and they likely don't want issues with people overheating. This temperature issue was very minor though. I still fully intend on coming back (might just bring a light coat next time) read more
