I have been wanting to take my girls to outdoor putt putt for quite some time but there doesn't seem to be any good options in Cobb County (Marietta). We made the 30min drive over to Roswell and we had so much fun! The girls loved our time golfing and were bummed we didn't buy both courses. It was an extra sunny day, we applied our SPF and lingered in the shady spots. Overall it took us about an hour to complete our 18 holes. We'll definitely return this summer! read more

What a great day it was! Beautiful weather, both my Boys, my lovely lady and 36 holes of miniature golf. The cost is relatively cheap... it only takes about 45 mins for 4 to get through 18 and it is a pretty course. It's not real hard but challenging enough to make it fun! It was a lot of fun! it's best to get there early to avoid the crowds so that you can spend your time on the mini golf course not only one around but two for total of 32 holes. If you purchase one game and decide to play a second, it is discounted. Super cute and love how there is a long mini golf course nearby. My husband and I went here to try both courses for our anniversary and we had so much fun. Especially because not many people were out doing it since it was winter. Only complaints are there is no moving water like I assumed there should be and both courses are about the same. Some of the holes on one course look identical to the other. Which is okay if you are just doing one course, but to do both it's a little repetitive. Would recommend trying out though because it's pretty cheap and super fun! read more

Nice mini golf course that was about 1.5 hrs to finish both games. (36 holes). One of the holes were full of water which was kinda gross but no big deal we can move on and forget that. Challenging courses I would say but not in a frustrating way more of a fun way. read more

I'm a fan of mini golf and I searched all over the web for a mini golf place in atlanta & this has been the best so far. the pirate's cove in gwinnett isn't so bad, BUT this place is a lot bigger. | PRICING: | there are 2 courses available; 18 holes each. adult price for one course is $7. you end saving more if you do the 2 course (36 holes total) ticket for $10.50. they do offer cheaper prices for children and seniors. this place is also great for families since they offer family packages as well for a discounted price (per person) -- minimum of 4 family members and max of 3 adults not only do they offer so many diff. options for single play, but they even have a AYCP (all you can play before 6pm) price set. adults = $14, children 4-12 = $10, and seniors = $11 | LOCATION: | the website can be a bit tricky since they advertise movie promotions, but that's because they're literally linked to one another. the ticket booth of "the fringe" mini golf is connected to the actual theater, "aurora". if will be right behind the big lots off of alpharetta hwy. if you spot the theater, you are in the right place. it will be the huge greenery area right in front of the theater. | EXPERIENCE: | the estimated time from the website for one course is about 45 mins. that is actually quite accurate, but that sounds more like a 2-3 people group. J and C will be jealous that I got to play mini golf on my lunch break for a team building. Many of the managers in charge of our department are big golfers, so of course they thought of this place that is very close by. After having lunch in the lobby of the movie theater, we each got a wrist band entitling us to unlimited golf for the afternoon. I only made it through 12 holes before having to head back to a teleconference. The theme of the course that I played was "Chattahoochee Gulch" kind of like a wild west prospecting town. The grounds are well maintained - clean greens, nice landscaping. They've got a good number of benches and trash cans throughout the course. Looking at the website, for adults it's $7 for playing 1 course or $10.50 for 2. It's been a while since I played mini golf, but considering how nice the course seemed to me, I'd be willing to pay that to bring my toddler, particularly since kids under 4 are free. read more

Review is for mini golf. The courses are very well manicured. The music is at a nice volume. We went on a weekday at 1pm and we were the only ones there. 5 stars: customer service, grounds keeping 3 stars: the course itself. Some of the holes are fun, but nothing spectacular. A few of the holes were multi-level, which we like. But the best shot (like center pathway) was not rewarded with either a hole in one or even closer to the hole. This place really is fun for all ages. And, it's super affordable. One adult ticket is 10.50, one child ticket is $7.50. And on "Mini-Golf Thursdays," you can play both courses for the price of one! They offer two 18 hole courses: The Doubloon Lagoon & The Chattahoochee Gulch. The fringe states that the average play time is about 45 mins per course. When my Mom and I went on a week night, they were not that busy, so we were able to finish both courses in about an hour. The courses are well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The courses are just the right amount of challenging, so you won't get bored. They also offer concessions from soda to dippin' dots that range form $1.50 to $4.00. And when you are done, you have the option to go right next door and see a movie at the Aurora Cineplex, which offers movies at an affordable price. The mini golf was great! For 36 holes it was 30 dollars for a family of 4, which is a fair price. (My family had the family 4 pack, $7.50 for both courses.) There were mini waterfalls, a Pirate's ship, and more. It was very family friendly (though some holes are kind of hard) and a lot of fun. The first course was mining themed, and the second course was pirate themed. It's kind of cheesy, but it was still nice. The entire place is very neat and clean. Because I lost at mini-golf when we played at Pirate's Cove, I insisted that we try The Fringe next, since I'd heard such great things on Yelp. We ended up in the front of the shopping complex and would've missed it had I not insisted we drive around back. So for those of you who may not be directionally inclined, drive to the back! I promise, it's there. We played all 36 holes and had a good time. It was definitely a little busier than Pirate's Cove, so we had to wait at some points because we'd caught up to the people in front of us. Bigger groups were sweet and let us go ahead, so it wasn't problematic. They sell a number of beverages at the ticket booth, so we had a big bottle of Smart Water as we played. My only real complaint is that the two courses (18 holes each, if you don't know golf) were nearly identical. I'm sure there were some differences, but by the end, we felt like we'd just played the same course twice. I preferred Pirate's Cove, where the 18 hole and 9 hole courses were really quite different. All in all, a fun way to while away a couple of hours! There is also Whirly Ball, Laser Tag, and a movie theater in the same complex, so if you're looking for a way to while away the majority of a day on a mega-date, it would be easy to do around these parts. read more

Wonderful facility. Two courses to pick from, with similar types of holes on both, so just pick the one that appeals to you. Landscaping is immaculate and very pretty, especially this time of year with lots of blooming plants. Waterfalls and streams run through the course, and there's a fun and slightly cheesy theme with old southern town "buildings", mines, trains, etc. Slightly cheesy is what good mini-golf decor should be, right? Everything is kept extremely clean and neat. The employees are friendly and helpful. A couple of them walked through picking up any stray cups and sweeping stray mulch, giving us happy smiles and asking how we were enjoying ourselves. Tons of easy parking. You can get a snack from the locally owned movie theater that's part of this complex. I haven' t been to the theater yet, but plan to try it soon. Cost is $7.00 for one game, one course, with discounts for little kids and those age 55+. Check their website for specials on various days of the week, including buy one course, get one free on Wednesdays - an especially good deal. read more

Paying is a bit confusing. You have to get In The movie theater concession line. And then hope someone sees you at the end of the counter to give you your balls. Because nothing is given to you when you pay. We had to wait for someone to go and get the larger set of clubs. Which means when you start golfing, you are now with a group of people. The course is pretty bare. Weak course decor and they didn't even have the ponds full, fountains on. There was popcorn all over the course. The one positive is that there are 2, 18 hole courses to play. They are pretty similar though. The bathrooms inside, at least the ladies, looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. Every stall was unfleshed and in wiped down. There was to toilet paper and popcorn all over the floor. Pretty disappointed with the whole place. read more

My family loves going to The Fringe for mini golf. The holes are not just flat straight shots, they require some finesse around hills and obstacles. Every Halloween they dye the water and add inflatable creatures, and they have events throughout the year that include BOGO deals on golf, movies and more. Went on Sunday 5/26 w/ LOML (Love of My Life)....We skipped seeing a movie because we had so much fun w/the mini-golf! Two 18-hole courses are beautifully designed although I wish there was more shade....we were burning up out there while waiting for the next hole to open up. When we arrived it was a bit crowded but by the time we played our second game, everyone had either left or gone into the movie theater!. I wish the booth/office had its own concession stand b/c if you want anything to drink or to snack on, you'll unfortunately have to go inside to the movie theater concession stand and pay those outrageous prices! $5.50 for a small fountain beverage? $3.00 for a small bottled water? NO THANX! We passed on that and just waited until we were done and went elsewhere...... But back to the Fringe......WE had a blast! Will definitely go back again!..
