    A snapshot of the dance!

Phenomenal performance at my daughter's wedding in Santa Clarita. Everyone was mesmerized by the dance! Hire them to have a memorable event!

The Immortals Lion Dance group came to our elementary school for a Lunar New Year assembly and they exceeded all our expectations. They included an educational program where they explained everything to the kids and it was extremely informative. Amie was so great during the entire onboarding process and was such a great presenter. She gave the kids many opportunities to participate and they were so excited. They even have an interactive dragon where the kids were able to hold the dragon and walk around their classmates. The dragons and dancers themselves were friendly and very entertaining as they danced, paraded around, and greeted the kids. To top it all off, they even stayed a little bit after to take pictures with the classes. This was so special and memorable for our school. Thank you so much! I highly recommend Immortals for any event or assembly you need!

The first time I saw this group was at the Chinatown Golden Dragon Parade celebrating the Lunar New Year, they not only had lions but dragons too! Now years later, I am now part of this group. =) Awesome group made of dedicated volunteers (yours truly) that meet up and practice on a regular basis in order to pull off flawless stunts with flair. If you aren't familiar with lion dancing, it is a symbolic dance usually performed at ceremonies to exorcise evil spirits and to summon luck and fortune. (wikipedia) =p Which is why you would most likely see lion dancing at a wedding or at the grand opening of a new business. If you talk with the group manager, Mr. Chan, you will find out that all the dances and tricks are done in the traditional style. The music made up of drums, cymbals and gong is played just as authentically as well. =) This group is LEGIT with over four decades of experience from private parties, corporate events, film, tv, and commercials. Would definitely recommend this group for your events in So. California! I'm not just saying that because I'm part of the group, just check us out for yourself and you'll know why. =D

We hired the Immortals Lion Club for our kid's school Chinese New Year celebration. They were AMAZING. Not only was the lion dance and martial arts performance top notch, but the education piece and interaction with the kids was outstanding. They gave just the right amount of explanation for the age group, and involved the kids in their performance like pros. Administration, teachers, parents and the kids all left extremely happy. Thanks Mark, Andy and team!

Traditional lion dances with 12 performers. It makes the event alive and it fit into the ribbon cutting celebration successfully

We wanted the performance to be a surprise during reception, and it was easy to coordinate that with Vince.

Communication and the clarity are poor. The experience with violin instructor, Ana, was unpleasant. She showed little patience to the point where my daughter was put off the violin. When approaching Ana, asking her to extend patience to the student, she gave us a "this is how I am, take it or leave it" type of response. We are very disappointed.

It's hard to rate this place like any other music school or business in the area. Its function (not…read moreits "mission") is to teach arts and music to the community at a very reasonable rate (the community is rather underprivileged and this place is a real gem). So what is it that they offer? It seems like everything under the sun. They have a choir, a folklorico group (I think), and some other public/non-enrolled groups. Quality teachers instruct in instrumental education at a reduced rate for kids, including but not limited to strings, woodwinds (though I see less of them and haven't seen any brass players, but you probably should call to find out), piano and percussion. They are also respected for their voice instruction, as Alison Iraheta from American Idol some seasons ago was instructed here. However, it's not just instrumentation and music that they teach, they also have a drama class and several other seasonal rotating classes. Additionally, one of the most spectacular things about this school is their summer camp program (camp MusArt). The program has some great staff and instructors, and they usually have two months (1 section per month) and a production for each section (a fully staged musical) by the kids. Howe we, last summer they were only able to manage one section because LAUSD has screwed up their schedules with their budget issues forcing kids to go back to school at different times. The last show was the Wizard of Oz, prior to that they've done Mary Poppins, the Lion King, Mulan, West Side Story, etc. every year it's a treat for the kids to participate. Nothing can replace the quality they provide on such a reasonable level. Arts need more support, check out what you can do to help at http://www.lamusart.org

Each class is a little different, and I definitely recommend "shopping around" to see which instructor you prefer the most. For most of my classes I've been with Veronica on Sundays, and it has been such an amazing experience. Firstly, I was consistent for 3 weeks, then took a 5 month hiatus. Veronica remembered me instantly when I returned. Secondly, she's always looking out to make sure I'm safe whenever I'm doing anything. She's incredibly patient ensuring that I'm doing the form correctly and very knowledgeable in avoiding any potential mistakes or problems. Finally, she's aware of my own personal level and experience- she knows when to push me to try and do a little more. Finally this space is such a vibe! The ambiance truly enhances the experience and has so much character and charm.

A review of Creep x Ghosts 2024…read more I had always heard about this company over the years, but never had a chance to check it out until this year. I had considered going to another haunt, but the prices were out of my range. Creep was a comfortable $70 per person and I was lucky to grab some tickets as they were selling out. I really didn't know what to expect, but the least I can say is that I was completely blown away. The absolutely expert crafting of this experience, everything from the story to the acting to the timing to the setting, was incredible. First I was curious, then unsettled, then worried, then SCARED, and then nearly welling up with tears. These actors are so committed and every character feels so full. The way they looked into my eyes had me deeply moved and I was immersed for the entire hour we were inside. Every person in my group was interacted with and enveloped in the story. This sort of art needs to be deeply appreciated and supported in Los Angeles and I'm so grateful to all the people that put their hearts and souls into this. Thank you JFI Productions!

There were two sections, the welcoming B&B in partnership with CBS and the show 'Ghosts' which smelled like pumpkin spice and everything nice, with the occasional possession and haunting. Then you're taken across the street for the real show and that's where Creep shines. The poetic storylines, the terrific acting and staging, the interaction, and new ideas all reminded me of the early days of Delusion which is a huge compliment. Your group of 8 is small and intimate and you feel absolutely immersed. Be prepared to be touched, whether you are taking an actor's hand or they are gently leading you somewhere, but nothing over the top. I'm so glad it's back and as good a Creep LA as ever was! Parking is neighborhood street parking, not best area but you should be able to find something.
