My husband ordered flowers through a third party company for our first anniversary which was a disaster-they claimed to deliver them and didn't, they came late, and they practically threw everything at my coworker upon delivery...THEN Imondi Flowers delivered in every sense to fix it. They showed up in a professional marked flower delivery vehicle, with a wonderful delivery person. Imondi actually wrapped name brand chocolates and a quality soft bear with a beautiful balloon and wrapping paper. Every single thing was handwritten in beautiful cursive on a lovely stationary, whereas the previous company simply recycled an old customers paper then printed my message over it. The roses arrangement were stunning and I received nothing but compliments. They lasted for over a week and had care instructions as well. For the care, professionalism, quality and unwavering attention to detail alone I would both recommend them and pay whatever extra to buy strictly from here again. I would normally have gone to Blossoms but they were closed so I went to Imondi Florist. I order two arraignments totaling over $450 for my Dad's Memorial Service. When I arrived at the funeral home one of the arraignments was on the floor and these are the ribbons that were attached. I was so embarrassed, they were hand drawn with a brown marker and a black marker. We went to tell them and all the lady said at the desk was I'm sorry. They should be embarrassed. read more

I often use Sendflowers.com for arrangements for out of state family members, since it is quick, easy and reasonably priced. I recently ordered a florist's choice bouquet for next day delivery, to be delivered to my Nana at the rehabilitation facility she was at, and the order was fulfilled by Imondi. She was taken to the hospital the evening before the flower delivery, and rather than leaving the arrangement there they went to the trouble to bring it to the hospital for her once they found out (before me!) that she had been taken there. She got her flowers and gushed about how lovely they were, and they lasted quite a while. I really appreciate them going above and beyond to get the arrangement to my Nana at a different location than the requested delivery. I also found out from my aunt when she mentioned this to me that they had done something similar with an arrangement I had sent to her after her husband passed. They were under no obligation to go the extra mile to ensure that both recipients could actually get and enjoy their flowers, and could have left them at the original locations, so I am really impressed. Especially considering the quality/pricing and the fact that I would not have known which local florist had fulfilled the order without checking into it further. My mother passed away suddenly and the funeral home recommended this florist. I visited in person, explained that we needed a casket arrangement for the next afternoon and showed the owner a photograph of what we hoped to have, which was relatively simple: greens and baby's breath. The owner said they could do it, wrote everything down on an order pad, including my cell phone. I asked if I needed to leave a credit card and she said not necessary, they would bill the funeral home. When the hearse pulled into the cemetery the next day the funeral director came to my car and said that no casket arrangement had arrived. He phoned the florist right then and there and they told him that the order was "never confirmed" and professed to not know anything much about it. If it was beyond their means to fulfill this order they should have said so at the time. It was a hugely disappointing experience, and we were all sad that our mother, who loved flowers, had a bare casket for her interment. PS I have now had time to read all the Yelp reviews, wish I had done that before I took the time to visit the place. There are lots of nice florists in the Providence area: AVOID THIS ONE LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

I received a dozen roses for my birthday! They are without a doubt the most beautiful arrangement I have ever gotten!! It's now almost 2 weeks since they were delivered and every single rose is still perfect!! The arrangement of the roses and other greens and flowers is very large! It's over 2 feet of magnificent!! I have added water and changed the water to be sure they would last. I also believe the quality is above and beyond what I have been delivered in the past, from various other florists. I ordered a floral bouquet for a colleague at work who just lost her mother to cancer. I ordered on line and my total was $96. They pictured the small bouquet with a description of 6 roses and other flowers; however, I ordered the large bouquet. What I received was the small bouquet for that price and I sent it back with the delivery person who was very, very nice. A couple of hours later I received a call from C. Imondi Florists and I was unable to take as I was at work; however, I called back only and stated who I was and that I was returning a call. The woman who answered the phone was absolutely rude and did not care about what I was getting for my value. She said I should have not used the on-line service but yet this company obviously signed up to be part of this on-line service. I told her that I spent almost $100 and was getting a small bouquet for the price. She continued to be rude. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! SHE MADE ME SO FRUSTRATED AND I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! You are supposed to care about your customers....instead of gaining 45 new customer (my entire staff who all chipped in for these flowers) she lost 45 potential new customers. Shame on you! Received mid December a gorgeous Christmas sleigh with roses, mums, a big variety of evergreens, and loads of holiday decorations . Looked good on all sides. I went to Imondi's today to buy a plant/flowers for a Boston Delivery. I had to ask to be waited on and said I wanted a plant for a funeral for a Boston delivery. I them pointed to a plant I liked and asked if it could be delivered ( I realize it would not be the actual plant, but another one through FTD, or whatever reciprocal service the store uses). The clerk told me it would be too expensive, maybe $125, as if she knew my price range. Then since I knew I couldn't get a plant from her, I asked about flowers, too much, she told me. In her next breath, I was told to go online and dismissed. I went into this florist expecting courteous service and knowing the cost would most likely be $100 or more. This was for a funeral for a close family member and I was expecting to cross this errand off my list. Instead, I was treated poorly and went elsewhere for my purchase. Three stars is based off my years of being a customer here. I did go last week and was not happy with my experience. I called as soon as they opened asking for a small bouquet for a Kindergarten graduation. I requested 2 roses and 2 sunflowers. I arrived and the bouquet had a daisy and roses with another flower I am unfamiliar with?? The lady said I took the call and and you told me you wanted a Gerber daisy! I can share with all you readers I am not a not a flower connoisseur- I do not know the difference between one daisy to another! I usually go to Blossoms which is two buildings up from Imondi but they were closed on Sunday and I needed to get flowers ordered for my Nieces funeral. Ordered arrangement online, it was FTD arrangement, the picture was online. I choose it because it had sunflowers in it, well when my sister sent me a pic of it, it had one, smaller sunflower and was filled in with many more inexpensive daisies. It was a $40.00 bouquet plus 10 for delivery to drive less than a mile. They sell better arrangements at Costco for less, unfortunately I live across the country and was only familiar with that florist. I suggest looking elsewhere for you floral arrangements. read more

Today I went there in a hurry to get my friend flowers for her birthday. Do yourself a favor and go to Blossoms next door instead. Much cheaper. I just spent $21 on a boutique of carnations! Not one rose or Lilly. I could have went to stop and shop for cheaper and more! Sadly blossoms was closed. The Saturday before Easter I stopped into blossoms and the guy there made me a huge gorgeous boutique of roses, Lilly's etc etc and only charged me $20. He as well added some nice sparkly bunnies for me and wrapped them up in clear beautiful wrap. The flowers prob weighed a good 10lbs. I got into imondis today and get a small boutique of carnations for more money, plus wrapped in cheap paper that has already ripped. I'm embarrassed to give these to my friend. read more
