I stopped into Rosebud Florist yesterday on a whim cause I suddenly felt the desire to treat myself to some beautiful flowers like Miley Cyrus says "I can buy myself flowers" lol. Anyway the service was spectacular! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the woman working there with a warm smile and inquiring what I was looking for. I told her I'd like a small table bouquet that has a sunflower or 2, and a rose. She went in the cooler and came out with a gorgeous arrangement that i immediately fell in love with. I realized quite a while ago, that these 800 numbers for flowers are rip off. So I started using Yelp to find local forest with high ratings. That's how I found Rosebud Florist. Yesterday was my mom's birthday and she was visiting her family in Providence and I wanted to make her feel special on her special day, and to let her show after siblings how much she is loved. I called Rosebud and was tickled with the New England accent of the woman who helped me. I paid $50 for a floral arrangement that would've cost me $200 in LA. I ordered a fairly large size bouquet of roses for my wife's birthday. It arrived on time, but of the two dozen roses about a third did not look like they were overly stable. Nonetheless, we kept the flowers. In two days, some of the roses died, other started shedding petals. I called up RoseBud Florist, explained the situation. They offered a replacement - and were out for delivery within 2 hours with a fresh new bouquet. While the initial order could have been done right from the start, the service and response warrant the 5 star review, because it is businesses and people like this, that take responsibility and care about their name and reputation, are the ones that should be rewarded. read more

I love this florist shop! I had an excellent experience from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a warm welcome and a beautiful array of flowers. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The flowers are fresh and vibrant. I honestly didn't think florist shops like this still existed. They also carry a selection of artisan candles. The scents were divine! I had called & spoke w/one of the employees who happily answered my questions while multi-tasking & tending to in-store patrons. I had asked if they would be able to put an arrangement together & same-day deliver it to my Aunt, this afternoon as a surprise. I had called a few hours before closing & said if it wasn't delivered today then the next day they were able to would be fine. Well, my Aunt called me maybe an hour or so later to say Thank you & told me how beautiful the flowers were. I am so happy with how quickly they were able to put my order together & get it to my Aunt safely. Does this look like a white floral bouquet with a splash of vibrant pink? I asked for certain flowers like peonies and I was told they wouldn't last. I specifically said they were for a graduation and they needed to last all day. These flowers look like they sat in a hot car all day. The greens look like something you weeded out of your garden instead of an accent leaf or 2 they add up to half of the bouquet! By the way they were picked up by a friend who did me a favor. I asked for no mums.... Yup there are mums among the wilted white flowers. I was told there would be white roses. Not a single one. Why do you think it's ok to try to fool people? My friend called to see if they could be picked up earlier and no one knew about the order. I had sent her the copy of my receipt otherwise I don't think I would have gotten anything. Her husband went in to pick them up and was treated rudely. Seriously not worth the review. The flowers may or may not make it to the graduation tomorrow. Running into Whole Foods for something a bit more exciting. Not at all what I asked for. This is not a vibrant bouquet. It reminds me of a dull mother of the bride dress. Boring. So happy with my daughter's corsage! They took one I found online and modified it for a 5yo. It looks great and cost $19 + tax. It's for her first father-daughter dance so we wanted something special! Service was VERY polite and personable. I called to order over the phone 1 minute before closing time and they were patient and took down my order anyway when I fully expected to get voicemail. I spent $125 for an arrangement to be delivered to my college student. I put explicit instructions to go up the outside stairs and call so they could meet them at the door. Well, the surprise was ruined when the deliverer called from ACROSS THE STREET and the recipient had to not only go down 3 outdoor flights of stairs but then cross the street to get the flower arrangement and then go back across the street and up the 3 flights again with the arrangement! Then, the arrangement looked nothing like the picture. i had chosen it because it had orange roses which is my students favorite color --well, she substituted those for yellow roses and made many other substitutions which changed the overall esthetic DRASTICALLY! Been going to Rose Bud since I could drive. They always have a beautiful selection of different colored roses and a selection of many other flowers to choose from. I have even stopped in on my way to visit relatives and have always found a tasteful ready made arrangement in their cooler that would fit my budget. Talk about a life saver! I am not really sure what the hours are - but it seems like everytime I needed flowers and was in the area - they were open. Right when I walked in, one of the friendly employees was happy to help me. There's a selection of premade arrangements for $25-40 in the refrigerated cases, or they can make a custom arrangement to accomodate your budget and flower preferences. I don't think you can go wrong; the flowers all looked beautiful and fresh. If you get one of the premise arrangements you can be in & out of here in 5 minutes. I can't believe I haven't reviewed them after all this time! When I got married in September of 2013, I couldn't believe all the flower choices and the disaprity in pricing. Flowers are the one thing that you really don't know exactly what will turn out or the exact cost. I was blown away by how great Rose Bud was. I was a little nervous at their lack of technology, etc but they are a true mom and pop show that is an amazing value for the money and I got so many compliments on my flowers.
