Gasp! What a gorgeous flower shop!! My friend and I stopped in after a bite to eat at Nicks on Broadway. We were drawn in by the beautiful flowers on display outside. Jephry did the flowers for my mother's memorial service in 2017 and they were absolutely gorgeous. So I returned more recently, for the flowers for my son's and daughter-in-law's wedding in August 2019 at our farm in Massachusetts. Our request included the usual bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and wrist corsages. We also asked for flowers around an arch in the garden where the ceremony itself was performed. Jeffrey was helpful, knowledgable and patient as we discussed what we wanted. The end result was that every piece was created with so much care. The flowers were fresh, fragrant and beautiful and Jeffrey himself did the "installation". The compliments were flowing and even my husband said, "He's a genius." I have a thing for flowers. I don't buy them for people a lot, but when I do, they better look gorgeous. And if they include anything remotely similar to babies' breath or carnations or that really stiff fern, chances are I will have a hissy fit. Which is one of the reasons why I like Jephry so much. There is no chance that any of his arrangements will be crammed with crap filler AND his flowers are ALWAYS gorgeous. Prices are a higher than other neighborhood florists, but I find them to be reasonable for the artistry and quality of flowers. A lot of times I will name what I am willing to spend and he will work within that budget. I have had him design arrangements and delivered to my mother in Pawtucket, and every time the finished product is beautiful and always delivered with the utmost care. I have also gone in and hand-picked flowers to give as gifts and he has whipped them up into awesome bouquets in a matter of minutes. I've been admiring Jephry's shop windows for years but never had an opportunity/reason to go in until the other day. My husband and I moved to the neighborhood last year and have been trying to support all the amazing local businesses whenever we can. This fall when we were on the WBNA house tour, I noticed that each home had a beautiful flower arrangement by Jephry...they were really stunning and unique. A few weeks later, my husband surprised me with a gorgeous "just because" bouquet, and it lasted for WEEKS, which is a testament to the quality of the flowers he carries. My husband said it was very reasonably priced as well, so that's always a plus. I stopped in a few days ago because I needed some foliage to perk up my mantel. $10 later and I had a bunch of eucalyptus and a few flowers that did the trick without breaking the bank. The shop itself is gorgeous, with tons of succulents and orchids. The flowers are all clearly displayed and they will help you put together the perfect combination and wrap it beautifully with paper and ribbon. They also have a lovely card selection, spanning whatever reason you happen to be buying flowers (birthday, anniversary, illness, friendship, etc.). When it was time for me to shop around for my wedding flowers I met with a few local florists including Jephry. He came with many high recommendations from my soon-to-be husband's family. When discussing which blooms to use in my May wedding, he was very upfront and honest. He would tell me if a particular flower would be out of season and would cost 3x more because it would be imported from Holland. Or that maybe it doesn't hold up well in a bouquet. I was so impressed with the beauty and inspiration I called their Studio wanting to have them create 2 arrangements for my Mothers Memorial; one from me and one from my Aunt (my Mothers Sister). I walked in with two vases. The variety of flowers was expansive and invitingly arrayed throughout the intimate shop. Two employees greeted me and listened attentively to my needs. I was buying arrangements for my church's altar for Sunday service, and they needed to be visible from 50-100 feet away (it's a cathedral-style building). They directed me to a 3rd employee who was equally personable and with just a few questions about my flower/color preferences, he had my vases beautifully arranged. I was in and out in ten minutes. Bright white hydrangeas, yellow sunflowers and yellow/orange flowers slightly above, with a few greens for balance. All for just $40 per vase. read more

Gorgeous window box designs that are always changing. I love walking and driving by and taking a peak through the window. One afternoon, I was walking by and I noticed beautiful dahlias just outside the open door. I could not resist. I was able to build my own small bouquet that the owner supplemented with greens. Perfect for my kitchen table. I also chatted with the owner as he wrapped my selections. He was working on a series of 10-15 centerpieces for a dinner party. Online ordering makes things incredibly convenient when you work all day but need an arrangement by the time you're out. I ordered one in the morning for a 4 PM pick up time and called to check and make sure the order went through and the only gripe I had was that the person on the phone was a bit short with me when I called to confirm. Otherwise they were nice when I went in for pickup and because I had paid online it was a quick pop in and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. The arrangement was beautiful and unique. I had asked for Red Sox colors, as we were heading to the game that night and were getting flowers for the woman who got us the tickets (Game 6, World Series, it's the LEAST I could do and all I could afford!) and the arrangement came with red white and blue and had little chili peppers in it, which was a unique but nice touch. Needless to say, I will definitely be ordering from them again if I need flowers. read more

I've used this Florist several times now and always feel they knock it out of the park. They understand the beauty and simplicity of flowers and don't "old school" approach with all kinds of twigs and sticks and sh&+ in the arrangement -- just packed full of fresh flowers. Also, I feel you get your monies worth - I have sent orchids which were a reasonable price ($100) and every time they have done them with multiple plants/stems which is a great bang for your buck. Usually you would only get one stem. Pricey is fine as long as you are getting superior quality and a modern fresh approach. read more

If I could put no Stars I would! My daughter ordered me 99 Tulips for Mothers Day and what I recieved was a flower that looked nothing like a Tulip not to mention the horrible presentation. She called the owner and explaind that she ordered 99 Holland Tulips in Purple and that is not what she received. He told her it was a variation of a Tulip and that was the best he could do and hung up on her. I then called and he told me she would have to call him back if I was unhappy with them, I explained she is only 16 and he still wanted to speak with her. She called him back and said she wanted her money back he again told her sorry that is a variation of a Tulip to which she replied if you dont credit me my money I will call Turn to 10, after a long pause he replied:( "Do not even put one finger on them, and you have to bring them in your self"). We went down to the shop to return them and he shoved the money at her and when she went to ask him a question he yelled we are done. She again said I just want to know why the price you quoted over the phone was different then the Delivery Man charged, he then took a bill out SHOVED IT IN HER FACE and replied can you read! She pushed the paper back out of her face and thats when he went NUTS , SCREAMING "F_ _ k YOU GET THE F _ _ _ K OUT. THEN HE SAID MOVE FASTER AND PUSHED ME LITERALLY OUT OF THE SHOP WHILE SCREAMING GO F YOURSELF!!!!. I had to call the Police. I have NEVER been treated so UNPROFESSIONAL.
