Horrible service. No apologies or upgrades offered for their error in delivering a plant for a funeral condolences. Left a plant outside the door all day in frigid cold weather. Family came home to a dead plant after burying a family member. Was told after repeated call and no confirmations... End result will go back on the 3rd day. I will not nor would I recommend Check the forest to anyone. Customer service was awful. read more

I ordered an arrangement online for My mother's birthday. What she received was a sad, wilted version of the picture online. I completely understand that not everything may be available and substitutions may occur but the bouquet she received wasn't even close to the picture online. For the amount of money that was paid, to receive not even a single rose in the bouquet was ridiculous. I spent over $100 and received a sad bouquet of wilted carnations and half dead greens. Will never order again from this business! I could have gotten a better bouquet from my local grocery store. read more

I ordered flowers for a sick friend on a Friday to be delivered on Saturday. The floral arrangement through their site was 50 plus 25 more in additional delivery fees. Fine. They called on Saturday to tell me they couldn't deliver to this address. So now a full day later I'm out of luck and need to start over. If you aren't willing to make the delivery, don't take the order. And then basically hang up. You're rude. read more

They did my wedding flowers. Mitch was very easy to work with (almost too easy! His casual and easy going attitude could maybe cause some to worry about the quality of the work, or the reliability - have no worries). A sample centerpiece was done up about 3 weeks prior to the wedding, and with one minor change was perfect. Mitch was able to do gorgeous work and stay within my stated budget. The wedding was over a week ago and both the centerpiece and my bridal bouquet still look fantastic. The shop exterior and interior are definitely dated, so if you're looking for a glamour experience, you won't get it here. If you're looking for quality work from someone who listens closely to what you want, works with your budget, and is happy to meld the professional with the DIY, this is the place for you. read more

SKETCHY! SKETCHY! Flowers were to be delivered Wed (sent from out of state), they never arrived. They initially lied and said no one was home and they tried to call. Busted them on that -- I was home and no log of call on my cell. Hello?! You can't get away with that lie in 2018 with every call being logged!! Several other lies....flowers promised to arrive hours ago (Friday), never did. Had to call out of state florist to have the order cancelled. Out of state shop owner will never use this Providence Florist again. I'd advise everyone to avoid ordering from them as well. Pitiful excuse for a business. read more

I was going to be staying at a hotel in the area and wanted to send flowers to my room before we checked in to surprise my girlfriend. I had ordered them and they were set to be delivered around 3 pm. Our plans changed and we were going to arrive earlier, I called to see if by any chance they could delivered earlier. I have been a customer of Check for at least 35 years. I had flowers sent to my son's finance in CT and what she received was nothing like I ordered. I ordered a bouquet of flowers and she received 3 flowers in a bud vase. I tried to resolve this through Check twice, but never heard back from them. I understand they have no control over what the florist in Ct sent, but I would think there would be some recourse through Tel a Flora!! I have always had great results from Check and have recommended them to several co workers, one even used Check for their wedding flowers. Unfortunately, the customer service is lacking, therefore I will be using another florist for future floral arrangements. read more

Just recently I had my first grandson and of course made the immediate call to Check to order an New Baby arrangement to Congratulate my son and wife on their beautiful new baby. The arrangement was beautiful and they appreciated it so much. I then followed up with ordering a Christmas Holiday arrangement from Check to welcome them all home with the best gift they could ever ask for, their new born son. This holiday arrangement was incredibly festive and awesome as well.
