I am searching for a quality auto body shop. I read great reviews for this shop, so I made an appointment for an estimate on the website. I did not get a response. I decided to drive the 20 miles to the facility. I was really disappointed when I arrived at 11:15 and found out there was nobody available to give me an estimate. The person that greeted me first told me to wait and she would find someone. She walked over to a woman sitting in an office and talked about 5 minutes. She came back to tell me no one was available to give me an estimate. I really felt like I was interrupting someones lunch. She suggested coming back Thursday. No thanks. read more

This place is the best. I caught the bumper of my Acura TSX on a parking block and damaged it, pulling it loose. The damage was fairly minor so I handled it outside of insurance and took the car to Impact on recommendation of my insurance agent after getting a very high quote from another body shop. I can't say enough about the people at Impact, they are the nicest...they gave me a ride home when I dropped the car off and picked me up hours later when the repairs were completed. The cost was a fraction of what I was quoted elsewhere! I'm really pleased and will return if I ever have need of more body work. highly recommend!!!! read more

Took my 2020 Ram 3500 to this shop, received a quote. Spoke with them concerning time frames approximately 1 month prior to dropping off the vehicle for repair. Was told it would be a two week turn around provided the insurance company approved supplemental items. Once dropped off, I called to check status after fist week and was told they where awaiting approval, I called the insurance company who stated they had approved the supplemented two days after the vehicle was dropped off. Impact blamed it on an email issue. Truck was ready for pickup at the two weeks mark but was not completed. Still needed passenger tail light assembly and bedside cap. They emailed me on July 6th letting me know the tail light would arrive before the end of July and no eta on the bed cap. That was the last communication from them, although I reached out several times. This morning I call, they can not find me in their system and stated they have had a lot of turn over and there is some confusion. Although this person could jot find me in their system she did know who my rep was, not sure how that's possible? This person is out till tomorrow and I need to call back then. I called my local dealership who has the bed cap in stock, but not the tail light assembly. Called back to Impact to let them know I will pick up the bed cap and install, they can reimburse me for the expense. They went on to say They could not reimburse me if I choose to purchase and install the part. Mind you they where paid in full by the insurance company. They have been paid for the tail light, bed cap, and also a hub cap that I had previously replaced and notified them of this. I asked to speak to a manager and was told my sales rep is the manager. Will be sending a letter to the arizona corporation commission as well as the arizona department of insurance. Charging for parts never purchased nor installed would be fraud. read more

We decided to repair our 2016 Infiniti Q50 Sport at Impact Body. We were dealing with Whitney, who has provided us an estimate and was managing the whole repair job from start to finish. I had my 2014 tundra in with this shop and they did an amazing job. From day 1 they were super courteous and professional. I had my two driver side doors banged up and a little scuff in the bed from a car accident. JJ got me the quote, and got me in and out in no time! (3 days sooner than the projected finish date!!!) JJ would call me every 2-3 days letting me know what they were doing on my truck and how it was going. They fixed both doors and the scrape in the bed, but they said there was some waves in the bed(it's a work truck) that might not make the truck look as great when painted so they pulled all the dents in my bed for free then painted it perfectly! Incredible! Fantastic! Amazing! I can't think of enough superlatives to adequately describe my experience. Bob and Debbie, and their whole team, provided outstanding professional service from start to finish. They went to bat for me with my insurance company to make sure I got all the repairs needed, and with only OEM parts. They matched my metallic paint perfectly. They made sure it was aligned to manufacturers specs. They detailed my car before returning it. I didn't even have to hassle with the rental car company: they arranged the pickup and drop off for me! If that's not enough, they called every couple of days to give me progress reports (thanks Bob and Whitney!) and got it back to me, in like new condition, a day early. I was raised to take pride in the things I owned and as a result, I "baby" my Camry. It's four years old and had not gotten more than a casual rock chip from the normal Arizona roadways until last June when someone backed into the rear quarter panel. So as you can imagine, I went through the stages of emotions following that day until I succumbed to the fact that I could not change anything about that but my attitude. I began getting estimates for the repairs from several body shops around the Tempe and Mesa areas including a Toyota dealership, the other driver's insurance drive through facility and two outfits that have been in the auto body repair business for 30+ years. Going off of the insurance agent's list of shops they work with, coupled with liking the lifetime warranty incentive and the fact that this facility was conveniently close to work, I wondered into Impact Auto Body (without an appointment) to see what they could do for me. For the record, I don't suggest others do the same, I should have respected the schedules of Impact's employees. Upon entering the lobby, I was promptly greeted by Whitney (the receptionist) who offered me a cold water as she asked how she could help. She then immediately introduced me to Ace. I'm thinking already that they have passed the customer service test. Ace was very thorough in his investigation of the damage to my vehicle and attentive to all of my questions, concerns and statements about what information I needed to understand as well as information I had gathered from previous estimates. I shared with him who I had gotten other estimates from and how they were much lower than his and he was very respectful of those companies, not offering any negative opinions but rather positive reasons why Impact takes the time to do the right job the first time, not only because they back their work up with a lifetime warranty, but also because their reputation depends on it. Ace outlined what was going to be removed and reinstalled, how far they will take the coating and the timeframe it would take to complete the repairs. Ace contacted me after the third day to let me know the work was on schedule and my car was finished one week later. As particular as I can be, I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about going to pick the car up from the shop. I was absolutely amazed by the quality of work and how the vehicle looked when it was done. One would never know the car had been damaged unless they were told. The paint matched perfectly and I could not find one thing I didn't like about the work Impact did. They even went a step further by cleaning the car's interior including the floor mats which I had not expected. To Whitney and Ace, thank you for going out of your way to make this experience seem less painful than the day of the initial impact. And to Bob and Debbie, continue doing what you're doing to ensure your customers are treated with the utmost respect, not only in the area of customer service but also in the knowledge of your "craftsmen" in the shop and how they perform their work. I had an accident on my 350Z and I brought it to Impact for repair. The service took only several days and my 10 year old car came back looking brand new. Not only was my dent fixed, but my car was beautifully detailed, looking like a million bucks. Every single person was so friendly...from the front desk all the way to the repairmen. All the insurance company's recommended repair shops had very average reviews so I took our truck to Impact. I wasn't disappointed. I worked with Bob and got to talk to the owner and few of the employees a number of times and always left impressed. It took awhile for them to get our truck repaired, (but our vehicle was new and parts were very hard to find.) They worked very diligently to make it right. Bob called at least once a week to give me status and when the truck was returned to me, it appeared brand new. I do most repairs myself and I found that they repaired it the way I would. I had my car door replaced here 4 years ago when some one crashed into my car. Recently my door sensor hasn't been picking up, so I called and brought it in and they looked at it for free. Turns out my door anchor wasn't screwed down- nothing to do with their work done 4 years ago- but they took the time to fix it anyways, free of charge. The showroom is clean and modern, there's a huge window from where you can see work being done, they hide nothing! The shop floor is immaculate! The staff is friendly! But maybe all of this doesn't matter to you. So, the nitty gritty... Bob goes to bat for you with the insurance companies. He keeps you informed of the progress with you"baby" and treats your vehicle as if it were his own baby. The craftsmanship and detail work is outstanding! My car looked brand new again! We had to have the rear hatch repaired on our 2012 Buick Enclave. From the start we were impressed with Russ the estimator and the size and condition of the shop. To say it was the cleanest and most organized auto repair shop I had ever been in would be an understatement. We were kept in the loop throughout the repair cycle and insurance dealings (which the shop handled). At the end our vehicle looked like new all the repairs were expertly done we could find no faults and we paid exactly what we were told at the beginning. Auto Body work is something you really don't want to do but if it needs to be done Impact Auto Body is a place where you will have pleasant experience to an unpleasant situation! read more

They were also able to complete the repairs earlier than planned, even with insurance issues, so that our rental car coverage would not go over the limit. Ugh...my brand new 2015 Camaro and I get into a fender bender on the fun rush hour commute. Not only was my front fender crushed...so was I. My awesome yet very meticulous husband took the matter into his own hands and found Bob & his team at Impact. Avoid at all costs. Literally. Tom Butka, this idiot, decided to submit a grossly over-inflated estimate for an insurance claim that was.....TWO TIMES..... the national average from reputable, national shops right here in the valley. He is extremely arrogant, and does NOT listen to the customer. Apparently this is how Bob, the owner, trains his adjusters/estimators. Unless you want your insurance company to dispatch an adjuster and question every line item like an IRS audit, you're better off going to a reputable company. Keep in mind, Impact is only ONE shop, with ONE location and with absolutely NO dominant presence here in the valley. If they shut down, which they could very easily, so does your "lifetime" warranty. Bottom line: Stick with the national brands and keep your peace-of-mind, as this shop does not, in any way, provide that to their customers. I don't care HOW good of work they do....there are plenty that are equal or better. read more

I can't say enough about how fantastic it was to have Impact repair my car. They were professional, friendly, kind and understanding. The repair was made to my satisfaction and they dealt directly with the insurance company to settle the cost of the additional damage they uncovered after disassembling my "baby". When I picked up my car, it was not only beautifully repaired, but had been thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned: the mats had been vacuumed under, the trunk was done, the windows cleaned streak-free, inside and out, and so much more. I recently had my 2014 Lexus repaired by the Impact Auto Body team and was absolutely amazed with the entire experience/outcome. They blew me away with not only the quality of work they delivered (which by the way was extremely high), but also with the way they simplified the entire process.
