My experience was exceptionally pleasant. When State Farm gave me choices close to my house for the repairs on my car, they gave me two options, this company had way better stars, and reviews on Google than the other. When I called for the first time, I was greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Tatiana. Super sweet and bubbly on the phone. When I arrived on site, Robert was the one who helped me. Very poor workmanship on the paint and details. They've even had my car multiple times to rectify the situation and they still can't seem to do so be very cautious!! You can see the issues for yourself via photo and video. At first, I thought I was being crazy, but I'm not the only one that thinks this is not right. I'm extremely disappointed in the outcome given the fact that they had about six opportunities to fix paint issues. My biggest mistake was ever trusting them to fix their problems. Two different caliber collision locations and they still can't get it right. I'd be very very cautious of using them. All I want is my car back to the condition it was prior. I had a MINOR fender bender and it's taken over five weeks and yet still not fixed. A lot of these main issues now are to the side of the car that wasn't even damaged in fender bender. I want to Caliber Collision on Arizona Ave on 6/9 not realizing my appointment was not until 6/11 and they seen me for an estimate anyway. I explained I had been in a hit a run that scrapped my bumper and pushed out the trimming on my bumper. After the inspection the really nice gentleman buffed out the scratch and popped the little piece of trim back in. I feel awful writing this because I went to the Queen Creek location last year and didn't have a great experience. The GM was super nice and fixed everything. This time I took my car to the Gilbert location. I was rear ended in my 3 month old 2023 Camry. There was almost 14k in damages. It took over a month to get my car back. The first thing I notice is that the gas cover is not even flush with the car. The sales advisor did the same stuff the manager at the QC location did and tried to tell me it was supposed to be like that. Eventually, he had someone take it back and adjust it and it was still not in the center - not a big deal, but if they can't even get that straight who knows what they didn't get straight when my car was smashed. Today I noticed that the strip on the number is not even straight. Again, if they can't line this up, how am I supposed to feel safe in a car that they put back together. For almost 14k, my car should be perfect! read more

A co-worker referred me to Caliber Collision after they completed work on his truck. I was a victim of a hit-and-run and I needed to get an estimate for my insurance company. The gentleman I spoke with (I wish I could remember his name!) was very personable and easy to work with. He cleaned the area where the damage was and showed me that it wasn't as bad as it looked. What surprised me, even more, was how he went out of his way to find a way to bring the cost of the repair down. I've had the misfortune of dealing with shading body shops in the past and I'm happy to say that that wasn't my experience with Caliber. The front desk, Tatiana, was very nice. My repairs were completed in less than a week. After it was completed, the paint matched the rest of my car and everything was aligned properly. Customer service seemed good and all but their estimate seemed a little ridiculous, they needed to rebuild the back half my car to fix a fender bender, and it would be 6 grand!?! That was double any other estimate I have recieved from other companies so far. I'm assuming they just charge whatever they want and do more work than necessary as they typically just bill the insurance. Imo this is part of the problem and leads to higher rates for everyone. They were nice but seemed slick and shady once they learned I was paying out of pocket. The guy looked at my car for like 25 seconds btw.... read more

I took my car in for repairs. After getting it back after a major accident the front tire kept going flat. It would last about 3-5 days. I took it into discount tire and was told my rim was cracked. I called mike at caliber after 3 messages he tells me it can't be caused by the accident. I was very upset. I have had the car 3 years and never an issue until after the accident. I think this company only cares about the insurance recommendation so the customer comes last. I spoke to State Farm and they even agreed that it's very odd that no issues until the accident. Make sure you find a repair company that cares about the customer. I think mike was too busy to waist his time. They got paid for the big repair but don't care about follow up. read more

So this review is for Caliber Collision and the work they did on the car. Not for Geico rep, Geico Rep I would give a 0 out of 5 stars. I could write paragraphs about how terrible they were. Caliber did a great job on my car. I got hit in my 6 month old CLA on the freeway. Guy came over hit my front passager tire going about 75. He then ran and the police report even had him at fault. His car ate up the rim , front bumper , my front light and engaged my active stability management. Geico let me pick from body shops and I chose to come based off their Yelp rating. The shop did miracles, I was shocked when I showed up. They even sent the rim out and wiped down the inside of my car before returning it. I got off of work late and a gentleman stay late to help me return the rental. He even stay behind a hour to hear my complaints about Gecio and he took it with a smile. This was the first and only time that I've come to a place solely off Yelp reviews and I was disappointed. I was in an accident and it was the other guys fault. Their insurance company gave me a list of body shops and I used Yelp to narrow down the options. Unfortunately, this place gave me my car back in worse condition than it was before the accident. My vehicle had front end damage, I was able to drive it home but it was making a lot of noise and it didn't handle well so Caliber arranged for a tow truck to pick it up. The tow truck never came and so after a day, I called to follow up with Caliber and they admitted they had never dispatched the tow truck. Once they were in possession of my SUV, they called and we went over my concerns about the jerking and body damage to which they assured me it would all repaired properly. I went to pick it up about a week later and took it for a test drive with a Caliber employee. I immediately noticed the check engine light was on and it had never been on before. Also, my hood was on crooked, one side had a noticeably larger gap and the edges didn't line up. Caliber said they would fix it and call me when it was ready. A few days later I get my second call to pick up my vehicle again. Everything appears to be repaired so I take it home. Within the next week or so I brought it back to Caliber again because I noticed the jerking movement and there was some type of grainy film all over the exterior of the SUV. I dropped it off and the next phone call that I receive regarding the condition of my vehicle is not from Caliber but from the insurance company telling me that the issue I was experiencing was not a result of the accident but from not being properly maintained. I explained that my vehicle had a perfect service history record and this was the first and only incident in its history but the insurance company reverted back to Caliber's assessment. When I called Caliber to dispute this they told me that the jerking was being caused by my transmission and they checked the transmission fluid and it was dirty and at a low level so they topped it off for me. I later found out by my car dealership that this was a lie, unlike most vehicles, the transmission fluid can not be accessed without dismantling part of engine (which they do not recommend) and as a result the transmission fluid stays cleaner. The jerking was actually from a loose motor mount which my car dealership said may have been loosened by the accident, my transmission was perfectly sound. But I digress, I knew none of this when I went to pick up my SUV from Caliber. After I picked up my keys from the reception, I walked up to my vehicle and slid my hand across the paint and realized that the secondary issue - the film all over the exterior - had still not been addressed. I went back inside and told them that I could still feel the grainy film. Their response was that my entire vehicle was never in the spray booth, only my hood, so whatever I was feeling couldn't have come from their shop. I said that when I dropped it off it didn't have this film all over it but now its there after I picked it up so they need to figure it out. Kevin comes outside with me and I have him rub a smooth part of paint in comparison to the grainy part and he tells me he can't feel the difference. I give him that "you've got to be fucking kidding me" look and he says he'll take it to the back to get cleaned. My folks had given me a ride so I get back into their car and tell them the situation. Twenty minutes go by and my SUV comes out, I go back, slide my hand across it and there's still the film on the paint and windows so I sent it back. It comes out in another 15-20 minutes and I check it again and still, it's not completely gone. At this point my parents and I can't help but laugh, it was like dealing with a small child who is doing a half-assed job at their chores so they can hurry up and play but they keep having to go back and do it correctly. On the fourth or fifth attempt they didn't even drive my car back to the shop anymore, they just kept it in the parking lot and wiped it down in front of me. I stood there watching Kevin who just an hour ago had no idea what mystery substance could be on my vehicle, turn to me with a bottle in his hand and said "this is the stuff we use to remove overspray from cars." It's so common an issue that he knew exactly how to fix it but he bold face lied to me to get out of cleaning it off my vehicle. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! (Unless you want your wheel to fall off). There is another excellent collision shop less than a mile away. I took my truck to Caliber Collision on 876 Abalone Dr, Gilbert, AZ 85233 to have my truck quoted for repair after an accident. I chose not to hire them to do the work, but I did contract them to perform an inspection and comprehensive quotation of all parts needed to fix the truck. When I picked up my truck, I paid their invoice for the contracted work performed and proceeded to drive it to the shop I chose to perform the work. Unfortunately, I didn't quite make it. In route my drivers' front wheel and tire flew off the truck causing an accident and injury. Come to find out, they failed to secure the lug nuts on my truck after performing their work/inspection. Luckily no one was killed, and I was traveling at a relatively low rate of speed on surface streets. I called Tim Davis (Manager) to inform him of what just happened. He was initially really apologetic and agreed to pay for the tow to at least get it off the road. Not more than 20 min later Tim called me back with a total change of tune denying any liability (probably after being advised by ownership) and refusing to pay for the tow. This was approximately 45 min after picking up my truck and drove directly from their shop to the other one that was going to do the work. He claimed that my tire was never removed by them. So that left me confused, either they are lying about removing the tire, or they are lying about performing the inspection and comprehensive quote I paid for. Bottom line is that there are plenty of other great collision shops out there, I would highly suggest steering away from this one at all costs. The lack of attention to detail in this case could have killed someone, and their lack of accountability is telling of their moral compass. Shortly after reporting my first complaint I was contacted by Matt Arnett, Regional Manager for caliber collision to discuss my initial allegations. After discussing the matter further, they asked for a quote to fix the damage that was caused by their shop and was then passed off to their insurance company to file a claim. However, after speaking with the insurance company I was told that they spoke with Caliber Collision who denied any wrongdoing and did not want to pay for the damaged parts without doing any type of investigation into the matter. I sent them over 20 images of the damaged that they caused due to their oversight. read more

This was the first time ever in my life that my car has ever had damage to it. Although not happy and not what I going to be going to be in for, my insurance sent me to Jonathan Herring at Caliber. Totally made me at ease and ensured me that they will take good care of my car. IT WAS PAINLESS. On Monday when I took it in I was told I will be keep apprised of what was going on. Each day I received two texts telling that exactly that. They told me I will have my car on Friday. It was done Wednesday night!!! I picked up my car on Thursday and it looks like nothing ever happened to it. I got into an accident and when I pick my car(which I leave in the body shop for about 1 week and they have to drive my car to program my rare view Mirror) my tire pressure is at 32, 40(front) 39 and 41(Back). I ask the technician to help me to set to the normal PSI which indicated on my driver side door Is 33. He inform what I have is normal and he went o school for this. What indicated on the door is for "cold". But I'm in Arizona event at night is hot and it will not be cold for another month. I'm not a technician, but I know with all 4 tires have different PSI is not normal especially with that much difference. Also, my car shows is not normal, the tire light is on. After inform him multiple times that I can't drive out like that, he ask me do you just want to add more air. At that moment I don't know what I should do. I just want those tires to be in normal PSI. He end up put air in the tries and inform me that on his end it shows normal PSI, but I end up drive of my car with 40, 41, 41 and 42. This is way above normal PSI. After driving for 20 mins, I have 44, 43, 41, 42 PSI, is about 10PSI more than what is recommended. I called my husband and he told me to come home immediately and he will take a look, and help me to set to normal. This body shop was recommended by my insurance company, and I felt I was treated unfairly and I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I filed the claim and received a list of shops. I did not want to take it to a dealer bodyshop and one who only specialized in body repair. I actually selected Caliber based upon agreements with State Farm, Yelp reviews, and distance to my house. I called to let them know State Farm sent a claim over and what the next steps were. They were very friendly on the phone and got me over to someone who was able to schedule me in for an estimate. I brought my car in and received a written estimate explained by their wonderful service advisor Brandon, what would need to be done initially and around how long it would take. I had some paint scrape from an unrelated incident that was minor that I inquired about a cash quote for it. Brandon was very polite and let me know that they would attempt to buff it out as a courtesy. On Monday, I brought my car over and dropped it off. They called Hertz down the road and had a car over to pick me up for my rental. On Tuesday I received an email from Brandon indicated that they were finishing it up and it should be finished on Wednesday. On Wednesday I received an email indicating that they had finished and the car was ready for pickup. I went over to Caliber to see my pride and joy in the parking lot ready to go. Brandon and I reviewed the vehicle and signed paperwork and I was on my way. I noticed that they went the extra mile and not only washed by detailed the inside of my car as well (super awesome of them!). Caliber has won me over with their customer service and backed it up with the workmanship that they have done. I was rear-ended about 6 months ago. The person at fault paid for my repair, and I chose to go to my certified luxury-vehicle collision center, thinking I'd receive top notch service. I was actually disappointed with the experience--communication between the certified center and with the insurance company was always stalled; the repair took 3 times longer than initially quoted; I had to return my vehicle to have an adjustment made (that should have been caught in the final "quality control" stage). Fast forward to May 2016. Yes, I am rear-ended again! Almost the same type of damage. My sister recommends Caliber Collision. I go for an initial quote and am treated with such efficient, friendly, professional, no-nonsense service that I don't bother getting another quote. I am thrilled to find out that Caliber deals directly with the at-fault person's insurance company; there's no need for a separate adjuster (which was a cause of delay with my initial repair with the certified center). Repairs were set up quickly--in a matter of days after the accident, my car is already in queue. The car rental (through nearby Hertz) was easily facilitated. My service advisor, Brandon, called often with updates. (When I previously worked with the certified center, I had to constantly call and leave messages, practically begging for updates.) A reconditioned bumper didn't meet quality standards, so Brandon quickly called and arranged for delivery of a new bumper from the dealership. The delay cost one day (compared to my previous repair with the certified center, which, because of communication glitches between them and the insurance adjuster, a request for a new part took 5 days!). The estimated time for repair at Caliber was 5 days. It took 6 (because of the bumper setback); however, I got a brand new bumper, so it was a fair trade-off! (As I mentioned previously, the certified center's repair estimate was one week, and it took three weeks!) The Caliber workmanship was flawless. My luxury vehicle looks brand new! When I picked up my repaired car, Brandon took time to show me the reconditioned bumper that had been rejected. He explained the process to me, which was interesting and which also arms me with valuable information, should I ever (hopefully not!) get into another car accident. Overall, Brandon and all the staff at Collision were very friendly and efficient. I felt like I was the only customer. The insurance claims process was hassle-free, and the whole repair process was easy to navigate and provided a happy ending to a not-so-happy car accident!
