The clips that hold the bumper cover to the fender were broken and having had the bumper cover begin to come off of another car I knew the outcome would be bad if I didn't get it done. These guys.They do excellent---impeccable---work. But that's not all. This family-owned body shop is laser-focused on the customer experience. Their customer service is like no other. Steven, my point of contact, is just a great person. He is genuinely sincere and committed to making the "after the accident" experience the best it can possibly be. I was gun-shy when I pulled into the shop because a few years ago I was getting the same car repaired due to a major freeway accident. It was at another Chandler auto body shop that was the worst experience---a living nightmare with zero customer service, in fact, the owner was rude and rigid. I hoped Mike's Body Shop would be different and that hope turned into a refreshing reality. When I told him about my previous experience, he smiled as though he had heard this before from another customer, and assured me that he had my back. And he came through on this promise, 120 per cent! When I walked into Mike's Body Shop and began talking with Steven, I was relieved. He is a guy who understands the auto body business but is just as focused on making the customer have a great experience. Mike's is the only body shop I would trust in Chandler. Had a slight accident in the garage and damaged the door on my wife's new Acura. Took the car to 3 shops for estimate. Oh man. If I can could have given half a star I would. This place is a mess. Steven doesn't know his head from his ass. Left my car there for almost two weeks to get some small things fixed. Keep calling everyday, "doesn't know when it will be out". Asked him how long is it gonna take? He says i don't know even though he owns the shop. I highly recommend anyone reading this to go elsewhere. The price is alright but for the time it takes, it is definitely not worth your time. read more

I contracted for a refinished left mirror cover including clear coat, a cleaned and polished right mirror cover, a repaired rear bumper cover and polished out scratch on the right sliding door. The right cleaned and polished mirror cover and the rear bumper cover were accomplished. That work was good. The left mirror cover and the door were not done. I called and was given a time to bring it in to complete the work. The brother (Chris) was not there and the other brother (Stephen) had no interest in helping. He said call Chris later. Absolutely amazing service! I was working on my radiator for my car and messed with the hood latches. Well then I found myself with a hood that was stuck shut! Mike got me in and out the same day, and he worked on this thing for 2 and half hours, and only charged me for an hour. It was about ready to be a lost cause and I would have to have broken into the hood and possibly damaged stuff, but thankfully he got it all working again! Now the hood is good as new! Mikes Body shop has been around since I moved here in 1994. While it has been sold a few times (to other family members) it's a traditional body shop in that they will find after market or used parts to try and save you money. If you're using insurance, they will buy new as per insurance company policy. I've mainly used them for paint, and they always color match perfectly. Sadly, I've taken 5 vehicles to them in the past 15 years for painting bumper scratches, replace moldings or repair a quarter panel. Great place. I went to the shop in hope of not paying $500+ to dealership for replacing the tailgate spoiler of my Acura. I asked for a quote on Yelp and Chris responded back quickly. I went the same day and he assured me that he could fix it by putting just the clips. The work was completed in 15 minutes after the clips were received from dealer and i paid 10% of the cost i had estimated based on what dealer said. I found this place by searching on Yelp and it is truly a diamond in the rough. Like the other reviews said, do not judge a book by the cover. The workers were all very, very nice and they did an amazing job for me. They even touched up a few areas of my paints that they didnt charge me for because they are just fantastic guys. They gave me a good deal, did a fantastic job, drove me to the car rental place, I just cannot say enough.
