I've been doing my taxes for the last few years, but will eventually need to create a new tax structure to accommodate growth and eventually find a tax firm to take over when time is becomes more of a premium. Only one had clear and concise communication with a follow up and did not charge ridiculous fees...take a guess who was the clear winner = Christian from Impact Complex Financials Christian is a sharp young gent; punctual, professional, well spoken, knowledgeable and most of all honest. I own an LLC elected to be taxed as an S-Corp., and my business consists of three members (that means 3 K-1s!). After doing research, I realized I screwed up and was on a tight timeline (business taxes are due March 15, and I reached out for assistance on March 11). I put in a request for consult on Tuesday, March 11, and Christian reached out immediately. My taxes were done by Tuesday March 12! I am mind blown at the knowledge this man possesses! Not to mention, how quick and thorough he is! The consult was supposed to be 15 minutes, however, he is so thorough, and wanted to get a better understanding of my situation, so my consult lasted about 30 minutes. I felt bad for taking up his time, however, he was professional, friendly, personable, and assured me that it was OK and necessary to have the consult conversation. Just by speaking to him over the phone, it was clear that he understood the ins and outs of taxes (e.g., I explained my business situation, and before I could even get to sharing that I felt that the lady who did my taxes for 2022 (AMC Tax Services-don't go there!) filed my taxes wrong, he beat me to it and told me that she did it wrong)! In addition, before I even had time to react, he assured me that it would be OK, and he had a solution for fixing the issue. This put me at ease right away. Needless to say, it was a no brainer that I selected his business to complete my 2023 business taxes. He also amended my 2022 business taxes with ease. The process of doing taxes was extremely easy. He created a profile for me, and sent me the log in information for his website (he also has an app, which makes it super convenient to complete the tax process on, as well as snap pictures/upload documents). It is a plus that the app double verifies, as it has extremely important and confidential information input in there. Once I logged in, a page popped up that told me all of the documents I needed to upload to my portal. Once I uploaded all required documents, Christian took over, and next thing you know, the taxes were completed! In addition to completing my taxes in a rapid manner, he also shared useful tax information with me. Throughout conversation, he shared that he was an influencer, and I asked for his IG handle (@chrisedoria). By this point, I was convinced that he was knowledgable with taxes, however, after watching his informational videos on IG, it was clear....I am a lifelong learner who loves to learn, and I love the fact that he shares the "why." All in all, Christian is a stand up guy who is literally gold. I am very thankful and feel lucky that I ran across his business, and had the honor to learn from him. He does not gate keep any information and openly shares his philosophy that everybody should understand taxes. I love this, because I have been to countless places that simply enter numbers without explaining what is going on, even after I ask what is happening/ why certain things were entered on the taxes. Impact Complex Financials' prices are more than reasonable and he provides quality work. It is clear that Christian is in the business to educate people. Impact complex is the first and probably the only financial service I'll ever use. I've always been a proponent of doing my own taxes to have as much financial independence as possible, but after I consulted with Christian at Impact complex, he made me realize all the things I didn't fully utilize in tax codes and laws this whole time. Not only that, but having my taxes done with IC over the years has greatly increased my financial awareness and Christian is extremely meticulous and up to date and communicative with all the latest codes and laws and makes sure his clients are in the know as well. The cost of service here is a huge value compared to the whole package each and every client gets.
