I've been training with Angelica at Impact Fitness for a little over a month. While I'm still relatively new, I think it's safe to say that I'll be coming back for a long time! She is a fantastic personal trainer and very easy to work with. Her training is supportive, personalized and always has me leaving feeling exhausted but in good spirits. I've been doing three one hour sessions a week, and my form, balance and strength have all increased noticably even in that short timespan. There's a really strong sense of community at Impact--everyone knows each other and it's an incredibly warm and friendly environment. The gym, which is more like a personalized studio than the sprawling stretch of exercise machines that you might find at other gyms, really does have everything you could ask for--variety of workout equipment, a kitchen for any post-workout meals, and a fully stocked bathroom with towels and toiletries. It's a really nice feeling walking through the door and knowing that you're entering such a supportive space where you can feel truly comfortable working out. I could never imagine going back to a larger/chain gym after working out here. Angelica, Jeff and all the other trainers I've interacted with are knowledgable and informed, striving to create the best possible workout that's tailor made for the needs of each individual client. Alejandro's attention to his clients goes beyond form and reps. He's attuned to your body and mind, and teaches you how to move through challenging physical exercises centered on longevity. He brings a very balanced, zen-like presence to every workout, and creates a custom plan that promotes muscle strength while being mindful of any soreness or fatigue. As a woman in my late 40s, I sincerely appreciated his focus on strength building, and the practicality of the many exercises he taught me. I have been training with Krystle at Impact Fitness since November of 2019. It's been quite a journey - both in my personal fitness quest and accommodating for the pandemic. The gym closed for the required period and then re-opened in May with a commitment to staff and client safety. Workouts are spaced, masks are required, and the gym is kept very clean. Jeff, the owner, is a great guy and is doing a wonderful job guiding the team to keep the gym clean, safe, and fun! Krystle is an awesome trainer for me. I work out two times a week with her. There's great variety in her workouts and lots of laughter! We regular talk about my goals and progress. I've slowly modified my diet and am getting the results I want. Impact Fitness is a private gym so you don't have to worry about crowding, unsafe practices, or getting in the workout you want - the team takes care of all of that for you! Working with Jeff has been one of the best training experiences I have ever had! I started working with Jeff on and off for over 5yrs. It's only on and off because I have been moving around the country, not because I ever wanted to stop working with him. When I started, to say I was out of shape was an understatement. He tailored our sessions to my abilities, pushed me further than I thought I could go and never gave up on me! He has been with me every step of the way to the athlete (and yes I do mean athlete!) I am today! When I was injured he made sure I kept my commitment to my health and worked around (and helped me rehad) my injuries! (Even I was in a wheelchair) Now that I live out of state I still work with Jeff in the area of my nutrition and am constantly seeing results. Alejandro is an outstanding personal trainer, that have been training me for the past year. He is well put together and well knowledgeable in the field of his profession. Alejandro is a valid trainer, accepting where your current state resides, mentally and physically. He will get you the results that you are most desired to obtain and in fact become a genuine friend of yours. Alejandro's performance is more than outstanding and does more than meet the eye. He can create a whole dietary meal plan and workout spreadsheet that help cater to the goals you seek. He has helped me from where I started which was 200lbs with a 27% body fat to 164lbs with a 16-15% body fat range at my current state. Also he took in count of my gluten allergy and being lactose intolerant; which he made an amazing dietary program. That Dietary program goes more into depth in which why those produce were selected and options to what I can combine it with. As said before, he truly does more than meets the eye and will treat you more as a friend than a personal trainer from any commercial gym. read more

Impact Fitness has been a very positive experience for me. After moving to Houston, it took me a while to start working out again. I would try to do it on my own and it was never consistent. Most gyms that offered classes weren't open early or late enough for my work schedule. After doing some research of gyms in my neighborhood and trying a few places out, I chose Impact Fitness because I felt comfortable and supported. I was very unhappy with my current health condition and they were there to help me out of it. I've never felt judged, I've always felt challenged, and I like that it is family-owned. I've been training with Jeff at Impact Fitness for years now. He is absolutely the best personal trainer. Very kind and always in a good mood with a smile on his face! His gym has everything you need, great equipment and even a shower with toiletries (it's very convenient to be able to shower and get ready for work immediately following my training session). I personally train with him one on one and there is never more than one other personal trainer in the gym with their client at once. They are not only very accommodating and work with your schedule, but they also tailor the work outs to your abilities and needs.
