I received many quotes from other companies but decided to hire Espitia's Tree Service since they are licensed Arborists and sent me their Certificate of insurance. Legit! They also had a reasonable price so it was a great deal! He told me that they have many years of experience in California as Utility Line Arborist - Line Clearance Tree Trimmers. Their business in Hawaii is over 6 years now. They did Excellent work and had their road signs set up during the job. He was able to give me an estimate based on the video I sent. As they were in the area, he gave me a call asking if I had some time today to come by with the crew. They called after their job was done and came by and cut down all of my tall trees. They were really efficient and cleaned up really really well, including taking a pile of leaves (from the palms) that I had left for the next green waste day. Although they were using my green bin to haul green waste out to their trucks, they emptied it all into their trucks and left my bin empty. The back where they were working as well as the front where they cut the trees into smaller pieces to load were cleaned up really well before leaving. Highly recommend!!

Wanted to improve drainage in the backyard to prevent heavy rain ponding along back patio. The…read moreplan was to replace our existing drainage with a french drain system. Work was done in less than 2 weeks. It was muddy/dirty as they dug the trench for the drain while trying to avoid the existing sprinkler system in the yard. They connected existing backyard drains and some gutter downspouts where that made sense to the new drainage system. To complete the job, they repaired a few sprinkler heads and connections that were damaged and power washed sidewalks and driveway. They also saved the grass that was removed digging the trench and replaced them over the completed drain system.

My wife went through all the trees and areas that needed trimming and they did an amazing job over the course of 3 days. They asked us to visit on the third day just to ensure that we were happy with everything! We totally were. They even worked with our new neighbor and removed some stumps for them at a great price to build up goodwill (grinding the trees makes a lot of noise). The neighbor was so happy that they got the stumps removed that they allowed Sherwood to move in some of their equipment using the neighbors access so they could get to some of the trees further back in our property. Overall it's a win-win situation - I'm happy, the neighbors are happy, and Sherwood has another great success.
