And it was cheaper than the other places I called. Hands down the best auto repair place I have ever been. The service was quick and the customer service was excellent! I had called around town for estimates, but four other places were either unable or unwilling to look under the carpet for water. The estimate I was given at Long's for detailing alone was about 30% higher than all the other places I called. However, everyone I spoke to there was very friendly, and focused on providing the best service possible. They were all willing to take the time to listen to me, to ask questions, and to explain exactly what they would do to determine the location of the problem, and to resolve it. I ended up leaving my car at the shop for three days, but Rudy explained all the reasons for this, and I trusted his judgment. When I went to pick up my car, it looked fantastic and smelled great. They took the trouble to explain to me the efforts that they had made to locate the source of the leak on the roof, and the fact that they had had to remove more than four gallons of water and ice from under the floorboards. They removed all the water, dried the padding, cleaned the carpet, and sealed the leak. They actually undercharged me for all this work and when I told them this, they said, "We want the customer to be happy." Because of their conscientious attention to detail, their expertise, and their exemplary work ethic, they basically saved me thousands of dollars in future repairs and rust damage treatment. I am very grateful to this establishment. I can highly recommend the services of Long's Garage to everyone without reservation.
