Chipotle Chicken Bowl, Hungry Buddha Bowl, Tropical Pitaya Smoothie Bowl
    Yusra A.

Let's talk smoothie bowls! The moment I saw the vibrant pink base I knew I had to get my hands on the Tropical Pitaya bowl. Topped with ripe bananas, juicy strawberries, and luscious blueberries. The crunchy granola added the perfect texture. Drizzled with honey and sprinkled with chia seeds, it was a bowl of pure yum! If you're creative, opt for a Build Your Own Salad Bowl but if you're indecisive like me, you can go for a pre-built signature bowls. I opted for the Hungry Buddha, one of their many vegan options. You can choose from a variety of greens, veggies, and tasty toppings. I am quite anti-mushroom but let me tell you, the way these mushrooms were sautéed, completely changed my mind. The staff at the Adelaide location were so unbelievably kind and a pleasure to chat with!

I'm Perfect is a hidden gem just steps from my office on Bay Street. I had the chipotle chicken bowl with broccoli and it was absolutely fantastic--fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The bowl came loaded with wild rice, lettuce, cucumber, corn, beets, tender chicken, and sweet potato that was surprisingly delicious. I chose the spicy peanut dressing, which tied everything together beautifully. It's rare to find something this tasty and wholesome right downtown. So glad I stopped in--I'll definitely be back, and this might just become a regular lunch spot.

As the original location of Imperfect Fresh Eats in Toronto (before the franchise gave birth to numerous other locations throughout the city), this one seems to be one of the busiest compared to some of the other locations. Food quality, taste, and menu selection are the same as any other ones - delicious, satisfying, healthy, nutritious, and I love the concept of using imperfect produce that would otherwise go to waste. I like the flexibility of choosing any number and combination of bases, proteins, toppings, and dressings / sauces. All the ingredients are fresh and all the proteins (at least the ones I've tried) are delectable, especially the lemongrass tofu. There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options here. Their dressings / sauces are also made in-house. I recommend the Garlic Avocado Aioli, Garlic Aioli, and Carrot & Ginger dressings.

Ordered a customized salad by myself. I LOVE the mashed sweet potato and honey chicken! It's fresh and healthy, highly recommended!!

Tonight we ventured to this location because the other location was closed on New Years Day and the food/service was fantastic. This location is very efficient and they make custom food bowls. I ordered the BYO Bowl and added spinach, black rice, portobello mushrooms, shrimps, pickled carrots, pickled beets, edamame, potato, sweet potato, broccoli, seaweed, carrot ginger sauce, and aioli. My dish was both gluten free and dairy free and the portion was huge. I would definitely order this again. My fiancé ordered the surf and turf bowl and they let him swap out some of the vegetables he wasn't a fan of. We both loved our bowls and will definitely be back.

I love a good smoothie bowl to make me feel full while being energizing. I was stuck in meetings all day so I had a Super Green Smoothie Bowl and a Peanut Butter Breakfast Smoothie delivered to me via UberEats. My courier was a bike and they actually package it really well so you don't have to be afraid of any spillage. The smoothie itself is sealed on the top similar to what you see at the bubble tea places. The smoothie bowl was a delight! I was a little worried that there wouldn't be enough toppings since there was so much base but it wound up to be just right. The smoothie on the other hand, wasn't my favourite. It was really sweet so I actually couldn't finish it.

Imperfect Eats offers a great selection of healthy bowls, smoothies, and juices. The fresh food met expectations and provided a satisfying meal option.

My husband and I had lunch at imPerfect Fresh Eats and we loved it! It's a build your own bowl or wrap sort of place. You pick your base, protein, and toppings. Large bowls are $11.50, small bowls are $9.95, and wraps are $9 regardless of your choice of protein. If you want to double your protein (or chose 2 different proteins, it's an additional $2.50). Bases include mixed greens, spinach, black rice and sweet potato noodles. You can do half and half at no extra cost. Proteins include Chipotle Chicken, Kalbi Steak, Garlic Butter Shrimp, Lemongrass Tofu, and Portobello Mushrooms. You get unlimited toppings! How cool is that, right? They have over 20 toppings and I don't remember them all, but I can tell you want to got on my bowl. So I got the small bowl with chicken. I got half black rice and half spinach. For toppings I got beets, green peppers, pickled daikon radish and carrots, mashed sweet potatoes, tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, feta cheese, crispy onions, and taro chips. My husband got a large bowl and 2 proteins (shrimp and beef) with half black rice and half mixed greens. We both really enjoyed our meals. The ingredients were fresh and everything was so tasty. I love their tagline: "Source ugly, serve beauty." So they use "imperfect" produce, so misshapen, ugly, overripe or bruised produce that is rejected by commercial supermarkets. They save such produce from going to waste and in turn provide the farmers with additional income. Truth be told, my bowl looked and tasted like bowls at stores that use "perfect" produce. In fact, the taste was better than most other places. Service was very courteous. When we were there, it appeared that they were training a new staff member, so there was some confusion and she had to go and ask for help for a lot of things, but this is understandable, and people have to learn somehow, so I forgive this entirely, since in the end we got exactly what we ordered. I can't rave about imPerfect Fresh Eats enough. The food is healthy, delicious, and reasonably priced. I like the philosophy of saving rejected produce from being wasted, and the decor is pretty sweet too. If I still lived in Toronto, I would be here all the time :)

This is honestly the best value for quality poke I've had...like, ever. Less than $10 for a "regular" (read: large) bowl with any protein of your choice and unlimited toppings? Sold! What's more, neither the quality nor the quantity was compromised at all. As soon as I picked up the order (use Ritual to get $5 off the first time) I immediately noted how heavy it was, absolutely packed to the brim. The lemongrass tofu that I got came in these numerous, huge chunks and with just the right degree of seasoning and firmness. I also sampled the butter shrimp, which was just as savoury and delicious. All of the other ingredients tasted fresh and although there wasn't really anything unique about the offerings, the blend of flavours and textures was fantastic. My personal favourites were the corn salsa, pickled radish, and the sweet potato noodles (served warm). While it's mainly a takeout place, we were to find a table pretty easily even during lunch hour, and several seats opened up throughout our stay as well. The inside has really cute decor and was surprisingly not too loud or crowded. Not much to say about the service, but it seemed to go pretty quick - and you can always order ahead. Can't believe that it's taken me so long to come here! I feel like I've said this before - fickle customer that I am - but this will be my go-to poke spot from now on.

I love the concept of this place and I'll definitely be here during my lunch breaks more often. I came with a friend and we were both very impressed by the portions and taste. I ordered a small BYOB with garlic butter shrimp. What I love most about this place is the flexibility they give you with your bowl. They let you mix and match the base and you can add an unlimited amount of toppings. I had the sweet potato noodle and forbidden black rice as base, and got a bunch of things for topping, including red onions, taro chips, pickled radish, edamame, cucumber, tempura bits, corn, tomatoes, and sweet potato mash. I topped it off with garlic and chipotle sauce. Though the bowls look shallow, they really surprised me. The bowl felt almost bottomless and I was super full and satisfied by the end. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. To add on to that, the price point is great ($9.95) because they use "ugly" produce which would otherwise be thrown away. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It's definitely worth it, not to mention that it's decorated adorably as well :)

I never knew eating healthy could be so delicious! Imperfect eats makes beautiful and nutritious food using imperfect produce, so consumers are able to still get their nutritional boost for a lower value, without compromising on taste. Isn't that amazing? They offer premade bowls or you can Build Your Own! The customizations are endless! Ordered the Surf & Turf which consisted of Spring Mix and Sweet Potato Noodle Base. Kalbi and Garlic Butter Shrimp for protein, topped with Alfafa Sprouts, peppers, jalapeños, taro chips, sweet potatoes, and crispy onions with House-made Peanut sauce and Sweet Chilli sauce. As well as the Açai Blast smoothie (Braillian açai, banana, mango, and organic oat milk) All made with real fruits! For the Surf & Turf one of the staff recommended to add broccoli into it and he was right!! Everything tasted so good but the broccoli was my absolute fave! Also their peanut dressing is to die for.. kind of wish I got some more... I used the sweet chilli sauce to dip instead of mixing it in.. that's really personal preference. The sweet potato noodles had a chewy texture to it which I really liked as well. Perfect meal to cool off in the heat! The Açai Blast smoothie was really good too but I found the banana flavour to be overpowering the rest of the drink! They also offer Keto and Vegan options as well!

I first discovered this place through RITUAL and I've kept coming back multiple times! For anyone that doesn't know, Imperfect Fresh Eats sources local imperfect looking produce and passes those savings on to the customer and reduces overall food waste in the process! Let me start off by stating, that it's such a great value for money! I love that I can order a Large Build Your Own Bowl for $11.50 This includes, any protein of your choice and unlimited toppings! My personal favourite is: Asian Sweet Potato Noodles, Baby Spinach, Spring Mix, Chipotle Chicken, Alfafa Sprouts, Beets, Crispy Onions, Crispy Taro, Cucumber, Pickled Radish & Carrot, Red Onions, Red Peppers, Sweet Potato Mash, Ginger Carrot, Peanut Satay As soon as I picked up my RITUAL order I immediately notice how heavy and full my container was! Oh! and the service was so lovely! on multiple occasions, they've written my name with smiley faces & hearts ( think they've noticed I've been a repeat customer lol ) While it's mainly a takeout place, you can easily find dine in seating here too. The decor inside is also super cute! Overall, their food is tasty, nutritious, and you can feel good about eating their food in more ways then one! I definitely recommend checking this place out for lunch, if you're in the area!

We came in here to try out a bowl at this new restaurant. I ordered a bowl of tofu. This is literally the best tofu bowl I have ever had! Well seasoned with great texture. There are no limits or premiums when it comes to toppings so feel free to go crazy on the veggies! The name "imperfect" comes from the fact that this restaurant uses fresh fruits and veggies that are naturally imperfect shapewise. Therefore cutting the cost and reducing food waste at the same time. Looks perfect to me! Normally I don't review washrooms, but their washroom is on a whole new level! So fancy! It's basically a selfie room! Reasonable prices. Decent portions. Clean and modern place. Extremely quick and friendly service. Free WiFi available.

A part of me died today. I can't believe that the salad is discontinued and I will only change my review once it is brought back for good. I don't like being played in the face like this. I normally don't leave reviews on Yelp, but I had to today just to let everyone know about the salad. I am so upset. Also, my friend got a different salad and they barely put any dressing on it. I normally come here for the dressing because it's so good and what's the point if you're not even gonna put it on the fucking salad. I'm literally fuming right now in this Mandy's and I can't even believe that it's discontinued. I told all of my family and all of my friends that it's discontinued and everyone is shocked and upset. Bring back the salad right now! We have a voice and we have a right of this salad. This is what made Mandy salad popular why would you take away? It's one good thing. On the other hand, the ambiance is amazing of course, and it is quite beautiful. But it doesn't make up for jewel Caesar salad being discontinued. Also, the service was great as well. I'm also upset because they did not have Parmesan for the Caesar salad that I had to endure because you guys discontinued jewel Caesar salad. I had to eat it with cheddar, which doesn't even make sense because why would you even run out of cheese to begin with? You're literally a salad place have extra cheese. I'm so disappointed and I will never be coming back until Jules's Caesar salad is up again.

There were barely any walnuts, and despite paying for extra cranberries, there were hardly any included. The kale made up most of the salads, yet it was tough & difficult to chew. Most importantly, these salads were by no means worth the price. For what was charged, I expected fresh ingredients and a reasonable balance of toppings. Instead, I received bowls that were mostly kale and quinoa, with the premium ingredients largely absent. What turned a disappointing meal into a terrible experience was the complete lack of accountability afterward. When I contacted Mandy's, I was directed to Uber Eats. Unfortunately, dealing with Uber Eats customer support was even more frustrating than receiving the food itself. The support process felt automated, impersonal, and entirely focused on closing the complaint rather than addressing the issue. Despite providing details about the poor quality of the food, my concerns were not taken seriously and no meaningful resolution was offered. Customers order through delivery platforms expecting some level of protection when food arrives in unacceptable condition. In this case, neither the restaurant nor Uber Eats seemed willing to take responsibility. Poor food quality is one thing; poor customer service from both companies makes the experience far worse. I won't be ordering from Mandy's again, and this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Uber Eats as well.

If you are aiming for healthy eats, then this is the place to hit up. Its in the downtown core and is accessible. They also offer a killer Portuguese Tart to wrap up a meal! CONs Unfortunately, this is where it goes off the rails a bit. Some of the cons to the location is that the price point isn't in line with other similar locations in the area. I get more salad/rice bowls from Salus just up the street for $5 cheaper. There is no differentiator between the two on this level. I think its reflected in the customer presence as well as I've rarely seen the location filled at lunch. I would say the return for a $20 rice bowl, the amount of rice and protein provided was concerning and miniscule in comparison to competitors in the area. The last con I have is that the location doesn't operate in cash which may be uncommon these days, but it can be annoying to those who do and don't have alternative ways of paying. The food is fine, but comparable and cheaper options are available nearby. I have no compelling reason to return here and that is one of the issues I face when I think about this location.
