The PATH is filled with healthy build your own bowl options. I couldn't tell by the name alone whether or not this was a veggie only place. It isn't but they have great vegetarian options. They offer bowls, wraps, and salads with innovative fillings. My coworker got a fish and chips wrap. I had their bibimbowl which was a play on Korean bibimbap. I had the option of tofu or chicken. There are set sauces for the bowl including a gojuchang one and a ginger sesame. I asked for them to hold the spicy sauce and they were able to oblige. The bowl was a mix of salad and brown rice but more leafy. The kimchi topping was more vinegary than spicy. I still found that there was something in the bowl that had a little kick to it. Another newly opened 'healthy breakfast/lunch' place in First Canadian Place path. Was so excited to see in their menu an 'Ontario Mushroom Soup' but my excitement quickly went to disappointment when I bought the soup. First off there were no bigger pieces of mushrooms, it's just a boring pureed soup and rather bland. Can't even taste the earthy flavour of the mushrooms! Secondly this is one pricey soup, $7.35 for a 16 oz. With this price, you would expect to get a tasty and hearty soup but not in this case. I'm now contemplating if I'm going back to try other stuff on their menu. read more

Company ordered lunch from Mad Radish - I had the fired up chicken. Not bad, but quite expensive and portion pretty small. I'd never get it on my own. However, the food is very healthy, balanced, and tastes much better than IQ. I am just not a big fan of these healthy bowls (unless it's poke) since they never fill me up. read more

I have been eating at this place more and more frequently. I have been a die hard IQ fan for many years but in need of some variety. Mad Radish has just that. I've had the falafel bowl, fired up chicken bowl, and the santa fe salad bowl. All excellent and great portions. Its downtown Toronto so the going rate for a decent flavorful lunch and one that doesnt come from the Longo's Salad bar (boring and tasteless) is about $13-$15. However Mad Radish gives you the option of ordering a smaller size of their various salad bowls at $7. I love this. Those smaller salad bowls are just pick up from their refrigerator counter. So sometimes when I don't want a whole salad I can get a smaller one, an option that you don't have at other salad places where you're forced to always get the big portion at the bigger price or nothing at all. Chicken is also excellent quality. Comparable to IQ, not the plastic chicken you get elsewhere (again, looking at you Longos!). Looking forward to trying more things. To echo other reviews...very crummy value for money; portions are small for the amount of $$ you pay. Especially a shieste since I ordered online and the photos of the portions appear QUITE LARGE compared to what I ended up picking up, I mean, I knew that going in thanks to other reviews, but still, IT WAS HEARTBREAKING. To their credit, the food was flavorful and yum, got the pumpkin soup & Fajita Barbocoa bowl and my substitutions and order requests were followed to a T. Unfortunately, the main reason I ordered the Fajita bowl was for the plantain chips (I love them so!) ... and no plantain chips on my bowl -__- Seems like they need to work on their quality control a bit more! read more

I've had decent (if not somewhat mediocre) experiences at this and the other two Mad Radish locations in Toronto (Bloor and Eglinton), but this review is based on my experience from earlier today. I ordered my go-to, the Crispy Taco Salad, through Ritual at around 1 pm. I requested that the dressing be mixed in, with extra dressing on the side. I'd like to note that neither were special requests made on my part - both are options in the mandatory fields required by the app. In the special requests section, I ask that the beans and red onions be subbed with extra tomatoes and corn due to an allergy and gastrointestinal issues. Also, it should be noted that this salad comes with (a quarter of an) avocado, which as an add-on costs $2.50 (per quarter). The grand total for my salad: $14.41. When I arrived to pick up my order around 1:30 pm, there were two customers being served, and two other Ritual orders waiting to be picked up. From these observations, I don't think it would be wrong for me to conclude that they weren't particularly busy. When I get back and open up the container of what I hoped was a delicious salad, I discover: 1. There's absolutely no avocado in the salad - not a sliver, a chunk, nothing; 2. There's no dressing mixed in (but I guess they didn't forget the "extra" dressing on the side, so good job?); and 3. Beans and red onions were not subbed out as requested. I essentially paid nearly $15 for some greens and a smattering of toppings, half of which I couldn't even eat. Normally, nothing can piss my lazy butt off to the point where I feel compelled to actually write a review, much less a 1-star one, but I've honestly never felt so ripped off and enraged over a salad in my life. So, congrats, Mad Radish, you've managed to achieve the unimaginable: ruin a salad for me and also extract an arguably lengthy review from someone who has one other Yelp review under her belt. Your service was spotty at best in the past, but this takes it to a whole other level. I can't believe I can't expect to have a simple salad (that's on your regular menu, by the way) made to simple specifications/modifications by a restaurant who purports to specialize in salads. I can find better value for similar quality elsewhere (e.g., iQ Food Co. and, yes, even Chipotle), so see you never, Mad Radish. read more

The fired up chicken bowl was great! Definitely one of the best healthy food vendors in the Path.

This place just absolutely rinsed me. Ordered their Fajita Barbacoa bowl that set me back 16.89 but it barely had food in it. They make it seem like their bowls are so big in their advertisement pictures but it was barely a snack and this was supposed to be my lunch. I genuinely never complain about food or the amount of food and have never written a Yelp review but this was outrageous. The standard scoops are the size of the scoops that you use to put vanilla extract in something. Just look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Rip-off. The food itself did taste good but doesn't make up for the amount of food in the slightest. read more

I'll cut to the chase... some office mates and I went at lunch today and were very curious. Everyone was satisfied with the taste of their items, yet the overwhelming consensus was disappointment with value for money. I can only speak for my purchase - the Ontario Mushroom Soup. I was disappointed and amused at the serving size for what I paid, but I was satisfied with the taste. Glad I tried it, will be my first and last visit, I wish you luck. read more

Decided to check out Mad Radish last week and it did not disappoint. Had the Santa Fe which was delicious - highly recommend it!

I've been to this location a few times since they've opened and it's quickly become my new favourite lunch spot. Friendly staff, lots of tasty/healthy options, and good portion sizes. Definitely recommend the Santa Fe! read more
