First time at this establishment and I was very satisfied. I walked in and was seen right away. The establishment was very clean and smelled nice. I was in a private room for the body portion of the massage and Tracy was amazing! The only thing I would like to give a suggestion on is that I know the employees wear gloves when massaging the feet for sanitary reasons, but they need thinner gloves. The whole time of the foot massage I didn't feel pressure as if my feet were getting gripped and massaged, I just felt the baggy and thick gloves sliding up and down my feet. After looking forever for a massage place, I came across this one - thankfully! Booking was super easy and I was able to get in same day with the added request of two male masseurs. The location has great parking, is extremely clean inside, has private rooms (some massage places don't), is fairly quiet, and the prices are reasonable. Immediately after the 2nd massage, my wife and I agreed that this visit SUCKED! Neither "therapist" even touched my scalp or my feet at all, and seemed woefully untrained. In short, we were both very disappointed. The full body massage for 1 hour was $45 and I paid with a $100 bill. I split the remaining $10 between the two employees, and the BALKED! They went onto INFORM me that the TIP on a $45 massage was TEN DOLLARS each!!! Well, someone needs to explain the concept of TIPPING, because that's not how it works! We were recommended the 30 min foot massage w/ the 60 minute full body massage. Upon arrival, we were directed to an ambient living room for our foot massage. The ladies were going the perfect pressure for us. After 30 minutes we were directed to a private room for our body massage. We were instructed to take off our clothes for the massage. Once the massage started, both therapists really worked hard with the perfect pressure and going at our trouble spots. I honestly felt bad for the lady for massaging me. She really put 110% to put in the pressure I wanted, and I could tell it must have been tiresome for her. Regardless, she still worked hard. I am fairly knew to walnut/Rowland heights area so I found this place through Yelp after being in so much pain due to my lower back tension. It was the most amazing experience. Anna was my masseuse and wow not only was she so thorough with everything, but so respectful and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I chose the combo B, but next time I have no doubt I'll opt for Combo C which is just a bit longer. The place was very clean and super spacious. It didn't feel or look sketchy at all. It pains me to have to write this review because this place used to be my go-to for a quick foot massage or just for some short notice relaxing time. During my few years of going here, I always thought this was a convenient, CLEAN place to get a massage. Unfortunately, not anymore. I brought my sister for the first time because she needed some relaxing "me time" and i liked that the massage was able to be done with short notice. Her massage was a little too rough for her... and she told the masseuse but either she didn't hear, didn't understand, or didn't know how to tone down the pressure. So it wasn't too enjoyable for her. I enjoyed my massage, nice pressure and usually always makes me feel relaxed. After the massage is when it gets dicey. For background, during the foot massage they put a towel over your body (for comfort kind of like a blanket), and a small towel over your eyes and head. When me and my sis were all done, both of our masseuses took our towels off (body and head/face towel) and proceeded to fold them back up nicely and put them back on the station/ottoman for the next customers. Excuse me?! I stuck around to see if they were going to take them to the back to get laundered or something, but no - they left. My sis and I just looked at each other because that was a pretty obvious no no. I've been to many massage places (all kinds) and they usually take back all the sheets/towels that were used during the massage. After that, I couldn't stop thinking about whose face/head my towel was on before me. Gross! Especially during a time of "post pandemic" and covid and other viruses around. I can't forgive this. Such a hidden gem in Walnut. I call about thirsty minutes prior the appointment and got hookup with Aimee. She know where I was super sore and managed to released the tensions nicely. The one hour body massage was also included hot stone technique. It feels really good when those hot stones touched your skin and pressed again the sore muscles. My 3rd time here. This time I brought my good friend from out of town so obviously her 1st time here. We both got the 90 minutes for $65. Only thing is it was NOT 90 minutes. I looked up at the clock right before they started and it was 8:48pm. They ended at 10:08pm NOT COOL. It was obvious they wanted to go home because at the end I was waiting on the couch for my friend who had to use the bathroom. The workers literally were outside and in their car. Only one man was standing holding the door waiting for us to leave. They do close at 10pm so I get it, but then don't accept a 90 min massage if you can't complete it! My friend and I shared a room. I had a lady who was huffing and puffing like she was so tired as a matter of fact she was because she said it - "So tired" she also kept talking to the masseuse who was working on my friend. I tried my hardest to tune her out. Usually this place listens to what I want but not this time. I kept telling her I wanted most of the work on my shoulders but she didn't spend as much time as I wanted her to. I brought it up to her a couple of times and she replied with "I know, wait." I waited but never went back to the shoulders like I asked. It was weird, she started ok but later got lazy. Meanwhile my friend next to me had the man literally walking on her back. After awhile she finally said.."Ok enough." Then he got off. My friend also said that her massage started really good but then he started to rush. Why are you both rushing though? We payed for 90 minutes!! At the end I asked my friend how it was and she said it was ok except the mans NAIL WAS LONG AND SO IT WAS SCRATCHING HER!! DISGUSTING! I know this isn't a high end place but CUT YOUR DAMN NAILS! With the flash light from my phone I checked my friends left shoulder and yup exactly what she felt 2 scratches from her masseuse!! Ouch! I was visiting family in the area and I wanted to get a foot massage close by. Imperial Massage was down the street, so I decided to give them a try. The place was clean, quiet and staff were very nice. I had a one hour foot massage, but they also hit my neck, back and limbs, which also needed some attention. I also enjoy massages with very heavy pressure and my therapist applied pressure in the correct areas to release the knots without overworking them. Each chair is occupied every other chair. Therefore in a room with 6 chairs, only 4 will be filled at any time. Atmosphere: - This is why I give this place 4 stars. The ambiance is terrible. It is loud in there. People having conversations everywhere. Not just the customers, its the massagers. They talk to each other even in the room while massaging you. I was placed at the chair right next to the door. I can hear everything from the waiting room. Everyone passes my chair (customers and massagers) multiple times (i.e. bring and take away foot bath. I got a 90 min massage (60 min body / 30 min foot) and it was absolutely amazing. May (or Mei) is so good. She clearly knows what she's doing and works on areas without you even telling her where it hurts. She can feel the knots and automatically works on those areas. I was truly impressed with her skills. If you're doing the same combo massage I got, she did the foot massage first in the communal area for 30 mins. It's not just foot. She does your head and neck area before your foot. After that, she takes you to a private room where you strip down to underwear. And then you have an hour of peace and relaxation. She also uses hot stones, which I loved. The facility is clean and quiet. I was very impressed with it. When you go, you will need to pay first. Tip in cash after your massage is done (tip well - these workers work hard from 10 am - 10 pm and probably rely in these tips). Parking is plentiful. read more
