Not sure why it says health center outside but Diamond Bar Best Massage as its name on Yelp. Either way, I'm recommending this place if you're into Chinese massage (pressure points type). Note that Chinese massage rides on the principle of 'no pain no gain', so this is not one of your 'relaxation massages'. I felt like I was disassembled and reassembled lol. The lady who helped me listened to my needs and changed the routine to what I asked for. I'll definitely come back again. Price is fair. Parking is relatively easy in the Albertsons plaza. Been here twice. Empty both times. This place could use a good deep cleaning. Their sheets have a weird smell and feel/smell extremely musty. The first time, I had an okay experience..so I came back a second time with my partner because it was nearby and prices aren't too bad. Well this place was interesting. My husband and I decided to try it last night for date night. We thought $55 wasn't a bad deal for an hour. The message was great, the ladies focused on some problem areas of mine. My husbands message was a little more intense and uncomfortable. At the end they wanted us to pay all in cash but we didn't have any. We then tipped them more than 20% and they asked for more of a tip. I do not like places that do this. If there is a Zero star, this merchant would have gotten it from me. On June 9, I purchased a coupon from Groupon. On June 11, I called for an appointment and spoke with Ling Ling who assigned me 11AM. I drove there and arrived at 10:50AM. The business is closed. I called Ling Ling again who said someone should be there. I checked and knocked, nobody was there. She said she'd make some calls. At 11:15, a guy showed up, and entered. I followed him, and told him I've an appointment @ 11. He asked me to sit down. Another 15 minutes later, a woman named Amy showed up. Again, I said I've an appointment @ 11 and presented her the Groupon voucher. I couldn't understand her plainly and we went back and forth, and she made calls to somebody talking in Chinese. Finally, I gathered she was asking me for a bar code that I don't have. She borrowed my cellphone which I handed to her, and she was able to come up with the bar code which she showed it to me. However, I saw her clicking on "buy another" box. So I asked, "you bought another for me," and she responded "No." Exasperated with all that happened, couldn't communicate clearly in plain english, I told her "it's OK, I'm leaving and report this to Groupon and make negative review about their establishment. Very very unhappy with the services . As soon as I walked in I was approached by a lady who hardly spoke English and was questioning my appointment time, and she kept repeating herself asking me if I called her Boss for the appointment. It was difficult to understand what she was asking. (My appointment had been set over the phone several days in advance with "Amy" - who I think is the "boss".) Then she just had me waiting, no instructions at all. Then another guest walked in and she asked if we were together...odd assumption!? She couldn't get ahold of her boss so she just took me and led me to a chair, then proceeded to say something about her boss again to me ....At that point I asked her if I needed to do something....she seemed uptight and confused. She then proceeded to the massage session 15 minutes after appointment time. At this point, I was not very relaxed , which defeated the purpose of why I was there. During the session, they had the other guest speak on speaker phone to the apparent "boss lady" who was questioning his Groupon coupon, after they had started his massage session. He sounded bothered and confused with their whole set up too. We could all hear the phone conversation ....poor guy! This place is a joke! Unprofessional!! I was finally done with my session, and as I was walking from one of the rooms the lady straight up asked me for my credit card for tip. I told her I think I have cash...she proceeded to follow me and stood over me looking at my wallet and she said $20 good! (I thought are you joking- service was horrible ). I asked her to give me change for a $20. I was already frustrated but I kept my calm during the whole experience so I was going to give her $5 only (usually I tip more). She comes back with the change and I went to get my change from her hand and she held back $15 and was handing me $5 . I said keep $5 and hand me the other please and she said " NO! No $5 tip , I work hard " and she was rude and mad. I simply gave her $10 and left . I wanted so much to be done with this horrible experience. I told her I choose what to tip and I paid for the service already. She took the tip and left, not even a thank you or sorry for the confusion.
