We found this place on Yelp and chose it due to their good ratings and large selection of colors. However, I highly recommend you confirm pricing BEFORE your service because I strongly believe we were up charged simply for being from out town. I was charged $100 for a gel manicure and pedicure, my daughter was charged $130 for a full set and and gel pedicure. Regular pedi by T and then somehow passed thru to another tech (without any explanation or intro) so T could take on another pedi/mani. New Tech wouldn't agree to acrylic layer I asked for and said I'd pay for on one finger nail that always splits. So here I am on Thursday with the nail split I knew would happen. Called for an appt with T - given 4 as the appointed time. Arrived, T has instead taken on a medi/pedi customer and someone else will fix my nail. That person did between their other clients. 35 minutes later, Why should I have had to wait for a mistake that the salon caused?! i'm leaving their salon for the last time. As an aside - no music, horrible stench of germ cleansing (to over the top levels) - and guys -- don't make appointments you shuffle for higher fee walk ins! Also, why would you ever argue with a client who knows they have a genetic nail problem? I found this nail salon on yelp.. went there because it was near my job. Upon my entrance the greeting was absolutely lackluster but I stayed because I needed my nails done bad! Nu-Nu told me it would be a 20 min wait which turned into a an hour. Which was annoying.. Hannah did my gel mani an pedi. While she was nice I found her skills to be below average. I had to have her correct my nail and toe paint several times. She also provided me with a callus scrub which was extra but I didn't find out until I got to the register. I was not ready for the 80$ price tag for this gel mani and regular pedicure. When I asked how much each service costed Hannah struggled to explain due to the language barrier so NuNu chimed in somewhat rude to give me the run down. Once she mentioned the extra $ for the callus scrub I informed her I wasn't told about the up charge. Didn't seem to matter that her coworker failed to mention this.they insisted I pay... I had gone to Glamour nails a couple of times and they did a nice job but after today, I'm done. For the second time in a row the technician (the same one as last time) cut me while she was doing an SNS manicure. Shortly after this, another technician took over to finish and my finger started bleeding a lot more as did another finger. What really bothered me is that her response was to tell me that this happened because I have dry skin. I have been getting manicures for 20 years and no one has ever cut my skin except for here. My friend recommended this spot and I am so happy she did! The staff is super friendly and it's very well ventilated so it doesn't really smell like chemicals like the usual salons. We had an appointment for 4:30PM but ran a few minutes late. They didn't mind and were still accommodating. Jennifer handled my manicure/pedicure and let me tell you... she is the best of the best. She is so good at what she does and so funny. I'm sad I'm not from here so I can't become a regular. She even pointed out and corrected some of the shortfalls of my last place. Jennifer is the "go to" technician. She is knowledgeable and caring. Jennifer cares about her clients. She also remembers what is important to me. Her work is always neat and my manicures and pedicures last. Jennifer never tries to up sell me but lets me know what the options are available. The salon itself is clean. The tools are sterilized and the pedicure chairs are pipeless so they can be throughly cleaned. I've been here 3 times for 3 regular $40 pedicures and all of them have lasted 12 weeks or more. No chipping etc. I'm not really a regular pedicure type of person but since having a baby the hour of pampering is so nice. There's a nice coffee shop in the same strip mall and a small farmers stand too. I love going and not worrying if it's going to be high quality or worth the money. They do it right every time no matter who the manicurist is doing them. I'd recommend calling ahead if you'd like two seats next to each other they are so friendly! One of the best pedicures of my life. The basic pedicure is $40 (their website doesn't say and Yelp lists it at $35) which I think is a touch steep but it was such a food service for the price. The service level was the same or worse as at other places that charge $35 and took the same amount of time. There were no extras like a nice foot massage or anything to justify the price. I thought they did a pretty bad job with the polish. It was not very neat around the edges and sort of splotchy. At this price point, I expect the quality to be higher. My friend and I went in to get a fill on the 29th. We called an hour ahead to make an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. After picking out the colours the technician began to do my nails one by one, instead of one hand at a time; and would not let me wait the full time under the light to cure. As a result, 2 days later, my polish has peeled back and the wet polish beneath stained my skin. I had also asked for a few hearts, and then was told I would have to wait a few minutes for them to be done, which wasn't a problem. However, when they finally got around to it the other technician was rushing, and because of that they hearts weren't properly sized, the lines were wobbly and they weren't opaque at all. I was then told it would be an extra 5 for the design, not before I asked for it. It is disappointing that I am going to have to go get them fixed only 2 days after getting them done. read more

My manicure starting chipping off 1hour later in large pieces. Unfortunately the large flaking continued the next day of my special event chipping off onto floor and counter tops, into my food, etc. I went back to salon within 24 hours and spoke to owner. It was determined the oils were not removed before applying the nail polish? They offered to re-polish but the gal was not available that day. When I went back the following week for a re-polish they wanted to charge me $10 since I waited a week to come back?? This is not customer service I would recommend to my friends. Sorry to have to be disappointed. It is about the principle of the issue!! Too bad because the gal doing my manicure was so uncomfortable being put in the middle. Shame on the owner.
