Plus the manufacturer has free hook ups and propane top off with a service. Have to drive six more hours, but it's worth it - heck, even with gas at $4 a gallon. Sad chain dealership trying to maximize profits. Never will go there to purchase or to get service. Too bad, my airstream will not be purchased from them.

We had the worst experience with Plaza RV in Bondurant. Took our camper to them over the summer…read moreand asked them to fix a leaky gray water line. After the service, we realized they had done nothing to fix the leak. We called them, they apologized, and we agreed that they could fix it for real this fall, when we had the camper in for roof repair. Now mind you, a roof repair is a big deal, so they've had our camper a long time... Like, a month. And Scott (my husband) has confirmed with them several times that they would take care of that leak. They assured us it would be fixed. Scott went to pick the camper up on Sunday and discovered the leaky pipe STILL hadn't been touched. And since he was picking it up on Sunday, there wasn't even anyone there to talk to, because they were closed. He had to just leave it and call them on Monday... At which point the service dude basically accused him of lying, saying that they never knew about any leaky gray water line. #areyoukiddingme #whatashitshow Thanks for nothing, Plaza RV. I wouldn't wish you on my worst enemy.

Picked it up they fixed the roof with tape and then when we camped the next time air conditioner leaked worse then when we took it in and roof still leaks. Great job since we are women telling us we need to have roof checked every 6 mos even though sigbs one walls say a year! Taking it to Webster city and hoping they will fix what their counter part couldn't!

I've been shopping around and looking for the Dynamax that I wanted. I finally found it at McKee. I sent in a request on a Sunday morning and was contacted within an hour and told that one of their sales reps would be in touch with me first thing Monday. I was contacted by Randy first thing Monday about the Isata 3. He was very kind, respectful -- everything that I would hope for and none of the high pressure that I felt at other RV dealers. We worked together to find a price that I felt was fair. I told him I needed to sleep on it. Again, there was no pressure. Next day, I called back and left a deposit. I told Randy that I wouldn't be able to get there for a week or so based on personal commitments. No problem. I also was super clear that I wasn't going to sign any paperwork until I had an opportunity to fully inspect the RV. Randy was clear that that is the way it works -- only once I've had my full walkthrough would we move to signing final paperwork. My wife and I drove out from the Chicago suburbs. We arrived almost 2 hours later than our appointment. It was no problem. Huge thank you to Jamie for our walk-through. He was extremely patient with us as we fully walked through the RV. I must have asked him to repeat things three or four times -- never a hint of annoyance with us. He was super kind. We found a couple of minor things during the walkthrough. We asked that they fix them prior to us leaving. They did. Final paperwork with John was a breeze. Again, no high pressure. John offered us a variety of extended options. We declined and that was it. Again, I've had very different experiences with other dealerships that often use high pressure, scare tactics to sell extended warranties. So, I can't speak for the other reviews but our buying experience at McKee was excellent. Even the recommendation for dinner at the Tin Pig Tavern was spot on.

After the sale, both Charlie in Sales and Brady went silent when we tried to follow up on a $150 store credit owed to us - which was part of the sale. Not sure we'll ever get to use it, it was advertised to us and documented. When we called GM Mark to explain the lost time and income, he offered a $100 gift card as compensation -- after a six-figure purchase , a punch in the gut -- then accused us of extortion when Mark was the one who actually brought forward the actual figure for reimbursement. He also told us we should "feel blessed" and that there are "children starving in the world." Completely inappropriate, dismissive and unprofessional. We asked to speak with the owner, Anthony, at Mark's suggestion and left a message at the front desk and still haven't received a callback. We've since contacted Firefly (the coach system manufacturer) directly, and they're flying out a rep to our home next week because the system was faulty and in their words 'should have been upgraded before we ever left the lot.' All of these interactions were recorded on their own recorded line. Hoping the owners see this and take a hard look at how their GM and sales team treats customers after the sale. Would not recommend this company.

Recently purchased a small Jayco camper to use and found that the refrig was not working right. After several phone calls, I finally came across Easy Camping RV! Left a message, and they responded within minutes. I was both frustrated and anxious, but after talking with them on the phone felt much better. What I appreciate the most was that Dave was very knowledgeable and supportive! "Don't worry, we will get it running." He cared enough to take the time to explain things to me and gave me some simple instructions to follow. I followed his advice and was relieved to find the refrig to be working properly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this business to any RV owner!
