I have had the best luck with this salon! First, I came in for cut and highlights. I haven't colored my hair in 20 years, so I was very nervous. Ana took amazing care of me. She carefully listened to what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions of her own. In the end, I got the exact cut I wanted (no "accidentally" going too short like I've had at other salons) and gentle highlights that looked natural on my blonde hair. No reason to look elsewhere when I need a cut or color again in the future! Then, luckily, I met Jocelyn! I'd never had my lashes tinted or lifted, and I decided to give it a go. This is very popular back in Texas and in other larger cities, but Melbourne hasn't picked up on this as much. Jocelyn is one of the few in the area that do it! I am so glad I did! My blonde lashes are literally invisible. Which means I ALWAYS have to wear mascara if I want to feel put together. But WOW!!! After the tint and lift - I can go au natural and STILL feel beautiful! Not to mention how fun it is to have your own lashes look long and sexy - without having to resort to gluing something on. When I was leaving that appt I mentioned that I like the eyebrow lamination look girls are doing these days, but that I have 90's eyebrows. Her response - I fix 90's eyebrows!! I loved that she said that! And I loved the service and working with her so much on that visit, I decided to come back give it a try. WIN AGAIN! I was so scared I'd look like Groucho Marx, but I don't! I'm so grateful to work with her, I feel like I can trust her. Which is a big deal when trying to find Esties you want to continue working with. Will never go anywhere else for the services she offers. I've also had my nails and toes done there with multiple technicians. They really have well-trained employees, with the best attitudes and best skills. I even follow Hailee on social because it's so fun to see what she does for her clients. A couple months back I pampered myself with a day of skincare treatments. My appointment was with Lauren the esthetician. We did a nanofacial, dermaplaning, brows lift/tint/shape and a lash lift and tint and then a scalp treatment. All of which were my first. She made me feel very comfortable and my skin was glowy and plump. My lashes were so much longer than I thought and my eyebrows made such a difference in my appearance I was shocked. Previously, the spa manager, Jeanne, refused to book a same-day massage without a credit card, despite my history as a returning client. Her tone was overly explanatory and came across as condescending. More concerning was what happened today. We arrived for a 1:00 PM massage booked three weeks in advance and were already in robes in the waiting area when Jeanne informed us that my massage therapist was not there. I calmly asked how she would resolve the situation. She repeatedly stated she was "sorry" but "couldn't do anything." When I asked for a solution, she became defensive, called me disrespectful, and said I was rude. She then spoke about me to staff within earshot in the lobby, refused to identify her manager, stated she was a partner, and ended the conversation. There was no effort to resolve the issue or take accountability. Based on this experience, I will not return. read more

Chad is an AMAZING nail technician. Holy cow I am blown away by the friendly customer service and stellar gel manicure and pedicure today. Great conversation. Very chatty and personable, and wow I've never seen such meticulous attention to detail. Yes, he takes his time and you might be there a little while longer but he is very careful and precise. Fabulous hand and foot massage, even better than a masseuse. I was offered complimentary wine and it came out cold and crisp, in a salon branded stemless glass. Really nice touch. The salon is so beautiful and clean. The massage chairs are so comfortable. Huge selection of gel colors. The prices in my opinion are not too expensive for what you are getting. I paid $120 for a gel manicure and pedicure and gave a cash tip. I went to the women's restroom and the locker room is gorgeous. There was a sauna in it and very elegant facilities. Originally I had found Imperial after frantically needing my nails redone after a botch job at a local nail salon. I was welcomed by Mandy along with the other staff right away, and I immediately knew this was my new go-to spa. Mandy fixed my nails, and as of now (a few months later), they are back to full health and look/feel wonderful again. The workers go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I had my hair highlighted a week ago. The stylist was very nice but she did not do a great job on my hair. She did not put the color all the way to my scalp so after paying $240, it looks already grown out by an inch and it's not well blended. I didn't have my hair blown dry because it's curly so I didn't notice how bad it looked until I was home and it dried. I have never complained about my hair cut or color but after paying that much money I felt someone from Imperial should have to fix it. I called the very next day and the front desk told me a manager would call to resolve the issue. I have called a total of 3 times over the past week and was nothing but kind and patient and no one has called me back. I have been to Imperial more than a handful of times and now I will never go back. Don't waste your money there. read more

Not bad. Masseuses were pleasant. Really knocking off stars for massage therapists (or anyone really) not wearing masks. When I'm being massaged, especially face up where someone is breathing six inches from and directly into my face, its unnerving and unrelaxing. Assurances that my masseuse is vaccinated have no bearing since vaccinated folks can get and spread (unknowingly) covid. But glad if they do get it that it will be less severe for them being vaccinated--cool. But the point is please don't give it to me. Outside of that, the relaxation room could use some love. Feels like a residence in marriott lobby with some complimentary teas. Probably best option in town but could make some improvements and be great. read more

I booked a girls day spa day for 3 peopleon 8/4/24. was told that if the reservation wasn't cancelled with 24 hours notice, the 50% deposit was not refundable. Nothing else was said about the deposit being nonrefundable should ther services be cancelled. I cancelled in less than 2 hours from booking . I spoke to the owner who said per her text there would be a refund. the refund has not been issued and it's 8/13/24. i would not have booked the service had the policy been fully explained but it was not. I have been a couple of times to the beachside location and have gotten good services. My gripe is, I received a giftcard at Christmas time and have tried to make appointments a few times now and they NEVER have availability. They even transferred me to Suntree location and it was the same. Seems like they sell more cards and get money up front and then are under staff so they can not accommodate you. I was even told by receptionist that now Valentines is around the corner so they will be booked up thru March probably and to just keep trying back. Who has time for that? Cost was 700 dollars what would have Been priced around 200 ish. Did not refund for this treatment let alone apologize or do anything to fix it. Do not recommend. If you have perfectly healthy hair that rarely uses heat, don't go to this place because your hair will be ruined. I had burning and swollen eye balls and lids, seen 2 doctors and many prescription eye drops, lashes are falling out but I can finally open my eyes with out itching and burning 10 days later!!! To be honest this is not the reason I would never go back for any service. The manager handled the situation by avoiding me and not calling me back. When I finally got her on the phone a week later, it was obvious she really didn't care. Im doing this review to warn people with this lash lift and tint this could happen. Wonderful massage, terrible customer service. Let me begin by saying my massage and masseuse, Kimberly, were amazing. Kimberly was kind and extremely skilled, and I would consider going back despite the spa's overall service. She was just that good. However, other than Kimberly, the staff I interacted with were extremely unpleasant. First, it was my first visit, and I was never told, when I scheduled the appointment or when they called with the reminder, to arrive 20 minutes early. I arrived about 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. The woman at the front quickly ushered me to the locker room and gave no direction about robes (there wasn't one in my locker) or other procedures. She told me my masseuse would pick me up outside of the bathroom instead of in the tea room, but apparently didn't communicate that to the masseuse. So, twice, I stood awkwardly outside of the bathroom, first without knowing to change into a robe, second while waiting for my masseuse. Again, the massage itself was wonderful. Afterwards, the woman who checked me out barely made eye contact. Other than Kimberly (who was amazing), the staff seemed to treat me like I was doing them a favor by being there at all. I'd love to return, but I'm hesitant because the customer service is not in line with the price of services. read more

However, she seem to shut down halfway through the work not giving me the correct color honey blonde and haircut we agreed on with the pictures I showed her. She offered to fix it the next day. Next day Gina was cold, became argumentative I then asked for a refund she yelled at me "Oh you will get your refund" then stormed out. Spoke with the manager and she was kind enough to give us our refund. It was scary how gina went from friendly to aggressive because we told her my hair was orange not brown. Gina shot down my confidence, now I have to go out into the world looking like a penny FULL REVIEW: I arrived on time for my 12pm appointment on Sunday. Gina Charee was my stylist. My first impressions where excellent as Gina gave me a tour of the establishment as a first time customer. She eventually lead me to the center room where the salon was located. This is where Gina gave her consultation where we discussion my goal of a Honey blonde color and which haircut I wanted. I showed Gina some pictures of the color designed and how I wanted my to be cut. She said it was possible, but could turn out a slightly darker color "Light brown with a hint of blonde". I was impressed by her attention to detail when she was apply the bleach and foil neatly. She initially took her time, working in small sections to insure excellent coverage. She was initially nice and cheerful. We talked about life and my bad experience with coloring at a salon previously. She assured me there was nothing to fear she had my back and it will turn out great. With the bleaching complete she washed my hair and this is where things went wrong. After applying the toner I believe she realized it was the wrong color. Because she got really quite. Then after a few minutes my fiancee came over and took a look and she started talking about how it is going to come out so good don't worry about how dark it looks and the red color, it will lighten up. At this point, things started to really feel rushed. She trimmed my hair, not even giving me the haircut we discussed. The blow out was painful and incomplete. I then committed on how my hair actually looked orange and my fiancee agreed. Gina kept trying convince us it looked excellent even getting her co-workers to agree with the statement. But seeing we were not swayed, she offered to recolor it the next day as they were closing soon at no charge. So we agreed, and paid $304 dollars and a tip of $60, in good faith it would be fixed tomorrow.The next day arrived on time for my 1pm appointment. However, Gina was standoffish, totally a different person. I set down at the booth and began talking about how I didn't like the orange hair and what we could do to at least make it into a light brown. I asked her if there was any chance I could be a honey blonde today and she raised her voice saying I will never be a platinum blonde. I told her I didn't ask for that I asked for honey blonde. Then she walked away with an attitude came back and told me I needed to sign a waiver that if my hair came out damaged today it wouldn't be her fault. This is when my fiancee stepped in and said I was not going to sign this as it should have been done correctly yesterday. Then she yelled about how she was doing it for free. Then he said she didn't have to be doing this today if she gave me honey blonde yesterday as we agreed on. Then she went on saying she was offended and how she worked her ass off yesterday. She then moved towards my fiancee acting very aggressive at this time I asked for a refund. She then yelled in my face "Oh you will get your refund", then stormed off. An employee named Lexi decided to cancel my pedicure appointment which was made over a week in advance and never once called to confirm the appointment. She took it upon herself to cancel the appointment without my consent or knowledge. The cancellation was brought to my attention when my nail tech reached out to me and said the appointment had been canceled and was wondering why. Now I am asking the same question. Had an awesome experience today getting a lash lift. I had not had this done before and thus was a bit anxious about it. They immediately got me in today (called this morning) which was super cool and answered all of my questions. Whitney and the person working the front desk put me at ease and reassured me that I would love the results- which I do! The whole procedure took less than 30 minutes and was pain free. So worth it, will do again. My lashes are naturally straight as an arrow and now have a glorious curl. In response to other reviews taking off points regarding masks/vaccines: I have been in health care for 34 years; masks do not prevent illness-clearly. I also champion Imperial: They were trying to follow the incredibly bipolar CDC recommendations, along with the rest of the world, regarding how Covid 19 should be managed, but seeing reviews that took off points for no masks once the mandate lifted, and not reporting the vaccine status of staff is not only petty, it's a HIPAA violation. Diana is a lunatic, I was in the salon when her assault on the character of Gina happened. An altercation occurred when Gina presented a waiver stating that going from BLACK hair to BLONDE hair would cause damage to hair and if you wanted another bleaching that you would be faulted if hair breakage occurred. This entitled couple thought watching a 30 second you tube video was apparently how hair color happened in real life. The couple was very rude and leaving this review is a statement to their character as "human beings". They called the stylist stupid and attacked her profession as a whole and her physically as the man involved lurched at the stylist. I Booked a massage at this location and when I arrived I found the facility to be beautiful. During the check in process my temperature was taken my hands were sanitized and spray was put on the carpet for me to walk through. My massage therapist led me to the bathroom where I was informed I could not change into a robe due to Covid. I filled out a questionnaire and I was lead straight to the massage room. At this point I put my belongings in a cubby hole and I was informed by the massage therapist that my mask had to remain on while I was face up on the massage table. I explain to her that the mask I was wearing was extremely thick but it was the only one I can find this morning and I asked if they had a lighter mask that I could put on. She told me they did not provide masks for clients that did not have one. I asked her to explain why I was required to wear a mask when I was face up but not face down. I did not know that Covid Could only be transmitted in certain positions on a massage table. She stated this was the rule at their salon. I told her that this information should have been relayed when I booked the massage so that I could have brought a much lighter mask or decided not to do a massage altogether based on their regulations. As I was at this point frustrated I canceled my massage. I was still charged for the massage by the general manager who was standing at the front desk. She stated that CDC guidelines required massages be given with a mask on while the client is face up. She offered an insincere apology and a suggestion that I do my entire massage face down. I am a nurse I believe strongly in wearing masks and protecting from the spread of Covid but the insanity of a rule that states you have to wear a mask only in a certain position to prevent the transmission of the disease should be beyond reasonable comprehension for anyone. I will do research to see if the CDC does in fact encourage the use of a mask only when face up on a massage table and if that is a law for our area which I was told by the general manager. This would truly be incredible that someone would pen such a law that clearly makes no sense. Their lack of communication about their rules for their business should be addressed. They should also hire employees who are personable and have a good customer service skills because they are in a service industry. The GM should invest in some thin disposable masks to provide to clients who have a similar situation to mine. read more
