What a great store! Centrally located and the selection is very impressive. They have brands I've never heard of and even carry spirits created by local DC folks. Bobbi and Doaa are great people!! They are so helpful with trying to find something. Bobbi is so sweet, he even gives out tastings to help with your selection. The staff really are all so nice and helpful! This small store holds a better inventory and variety than you would expect. The prices are generally reasonable and they have some great sales at any given time. I wouldn't try here for an obscure bottle on your list, but the staff is happy to work with you to find something that will fit your needs. I was in the area looking for a nice bottle of wine as a gift. I was a bit tired and the trek to Safeway wasn't inspiring me to move. I looked on Yelp to see what was closer and found this gem six minutes away. The selection of wines are pretty solid. There were more red options than white or bubbly options. I thoroughly enjoyed scanning the various sales options to see what might be available. The wines are fairly priced, particularly for a smaller store in city center. Debating between Stag's Leap Artemis or Sequoia Grove red. Seeking the thoughts of the cashier, she didn't hesitate with Stag's Leap. Definitely check this place out. Great selection of bourbon but at the most outrageous prices I've seen anywhere in world. A bottle of W L Weller Special Reserve (750ml) is for sale for $100, when retail price is $30! Some of their other bourbon is marked up over 10x from retail price. This is price gouging at its finest and a place you should not be supporting with your hard earned money. read more

I am still impressed by the level of customer service at the store. I went back to look for a single malt scotch for my husband. They suggested a limited edition of Oban. I was reluctant because I didn't know if my husband would like this particular edition. The sales person assured me it was good and even went so far to say I could bring back an opened bottle if my husband didn't like it, for a full refund. I even found hard to finds such as Silver Oak (Napa/Alexander) here at unbeatable prices. They have great sales and if you check in you will probably receive a coupon...mine was for Grey Goose.
