I've generally had good experiences ordering from Import Image Racing. Their pricing is usually competitive, and I've had no real issues with previous orders. This most recent order was a bit of a mixed bag, though. Everything eventually arrived in a relatively timely manner, but there were a couple of issues. The Cobb x WeatherTech floor liner set arrived with only the rear liner, even though I had ordered the front and rear set. I had to reach out to IIR, and they sent the missing front liners. There was also an issue with one of the KYB strut assemblies. While the strut itself appeared to be new, it arrived in an old/unmatched box rather than the original packaging, and the hardware that normally comes with the assembly wasn't included. This ended up causing an issue with my repair shop and delayed the installation. Update: IIR followed up with me and provided some additional context about the floor liners. They explained that the Cobb x WeatherTech products are drop-shipped directly from the distributor, so they don't physically see or inspect those products before they go out. They apologized for the issue and said they'd work with their support team to try to prevent it from happening again. I appreciate them taking the time to explain what happened and, more importantly, making things right when I brought the issues to their attention. The original experience was frustrating, but the way they handled the problems afterward definitely left me feeling more positive about IIR. I'll continue to order from them. read more

I am new to Subaru's and was skeptical about ordering a part from import image racing. The part was at a questionably good sale price. I saw recent activity on Facebook and took a shot. My order was packaged nicely and shipped within the expected timing. They shipped with UPS which I also prefer. I would order from import image racing again. read more

Purchased an LED fog lamp kit for my Bronco which did not work. Has been nearly impossible to return the item and they don't provide any actual support for the products they sell. Best to buy direct of from a reputable company. Similar reviews to trying to return items to them are all over the place. read more

Excellent Service! I needed some rotors and brake pads for my Subie. I used the chat function, and communication was excellent. I changed around what I wanted several times, and each time the gentleman with whom I was chatting sent me an updated price. There was zero pressure to complete the transaction. I'm going to buy some suspension bits soon, and I'll be buying from Import Image Racing when that time comes! Completely Horrible Company to work with. Very small and completely unprofessional. Thank god I realized what a lousy company they were before I spent anymore money. Customer Service and the Management is terrible. Forget returning anything, act of god to get done. They have a scam for Shipping Insurance, OPT OUT immediately. They add it to every order and if you miss it, you pay it. They make it seem like it is part of the shipping process. O and the shipping with FedEx with them is Ok at best. I called them for a follow up and the guy was super responsive. Got my tracking number asap. If you feel skeptical or have any doubts, just call the shop. The wing base did not stick down with the hardware and crappy tape they provided. I left a review on their site stating as much, and surprise, it's been deleted. Talk about a absolutely horrible company. Ordered a few things for my sti. Shipped fast with great INITAL customer service. Once they got the sale they disappeared. I ordered a complete fog light kit since my sti didn't come with any. The glass olm housing were described as a complete kit with both wiring and a new switch bezel. Sounded great and exactly what I needed so obviously I ordered it. When all my orders finally came in the olm fog kit simply had just the glass housings, a plastic mount to put them into the bezels and cheap power/ground wires. The webpage clearly states what it comes with and when questioned it turned into days of let me contact the distributor. They only fixed the description of the item when I told them to simply change it so they don't run into this issue again. I was offered a $30 refund to buy the harness and switch separately, welp the harness alone is $70. So instead of gaining thousands more in sales simply from me, I'll make sure to go out of my way to warn anyone else about what a terrible company they are. Mistakes happen, but how you fix them and utilize(or don't in this case) you customer service is what separates a mediocre company from a great company. I ordered an axle-back exhaust for my car over the holidays, my old exhaust was falling apart to an extent. I received the product super quickly, and for the price, it was an incredible value. Unfortunately, the product did not fit on my car since I had an aftermarket mid-pipe. After being quoted $200 by a muffler shop to resize it, I decided it would be best to return it. Customer service approved my request very quickly and sent me a pre-paid shipping label and RMA number. Packaged the item back up and attached the label, still waiting on updates regarding the return but they have been incredibly easy to work with regarding the circumstances. Canceled my order right after placing because I realized it was the wrong part. Got an email first thing in the morning asking if I was sure? I said yes and I want confirmation and never got a response. Tried calling in and got some automated crap saying they had high volume and then the call was dropped.
