On August 16, I went to Impression Bridal for my very first wedding dress appointment. I brought a group of six with me, and the space was so spacious and welcoming. Every staff member was incredibly sweet, but my stylist Maggie truly stood out. I cannot recommend her enough! She was unbelievably helpful and never once pressured me to buy a dress that day. Nothing felt transactional or awkward, it genuinely felt like she cared about finding something that made me feel beautiful. She also pulled options that were actually in my price range ($1,500 and under), which I really appreciated. I also loved the variety they had. I was specifically looking for a boho, pink-toned dress (I didn't want the classic ivory!), and they had such a wide range of unique options that still fit my vibe perfectly. The VERY last dress I tried on was an "as-is" sample dress... and I fell in love. It fit me like a glove, and I felt so confident the second I put it on. I recently purchased my wedding dress from Impressions Bridal ATL. The consultant , Ariannah, who initially helped me was very sweet and attentive. She listened to what I wanted and actually pulled the very first dress I tried on , which ended up being the one. I truly appreciated her ability to understand my vision. However, the overall experience felt mixed. I was excited about finally finding my dress after searching all month but the customer service once payments were discussed were terrible. While I did receive a 10% same-day discount, when my mom asked about any additional pricing considerations, the response from management , which her name was ANNIE, felt dismissive and slightly uncomfortable in tone. Even if additional price considerations weren't possible, the delivery matters during such a special moment. I also expected a bit more celebration after saying yes to the dress. There were bells in the store that are rung for other brides, but that didn't happen for me. We were directed to a backdrop to take our own photos after I had to ask about instead of being guided through the experience, and while staff did eventually come to take some, the energy felt nonchalant rather than celebratory. As a bride, you hope to feel a little more special in that moment. Additionally, I wish there were more size-inclusive sample options available to better visualize the fit. Overall, I love the dress I chose and am excited to wear it, but I hope future brides receive a more consistent and celebratory experience from start to finish and not like they are just a number. Other bridal shops were excited and welcoming from start to finish without me even buying my dress from them. After making such a large purchase you want to feel appreciated by the business and that was not the experience at the Kennesaw location. If you are a bride this place is great if you want a lot of options but don't expected to feel welcomed or celebrated if you find your dress. This location really needs to consider who they put into management. I wish I would've started here instead of visiting a few others that were highly recommended in the area. Where do I start..... The Dress: When purchasing, I informed my stylist of my intention to size down due to my rigorous work schedule. However, I was strongly urged to stick with the size recommended at the time - 46 however, when measured with denim on I was a 44. The dress is now far too large, presenting the following issues: The bust is oversized, providing no support even with a bra. The straps will not stay up. The corset is tightened to its limit yet remains loose. At 5'3" (as noted in my measurements), the dress drags, making it difficult to walk. Overall, the dress lacks shape and swallows my figure. The Service: 12/03/24 I arrived promptly at my 1:30 PM appointment and informed staff that my bridesmaid was delayed by traffic and would arrive in about 20 minutes. Despite being the only customer in the store for over an hour, I was told we couldn't wait for her. The initial stylist (Katie) was kind and helped me into the dress, but it was immediately evident that it was too large. The manager, Brenna Phillips, was brought over to address the concerns. She stated the sizing was correct and claimed they don't customize for height or tailor dresses (even though my order included custom skirt removal). She was unhelpful, dismissive, and became confrontational and charged at me when I grew visibly upset. Her behavior escalated to the point where my bridesmaid had to intervene as she invaded my personal space, making me feel unsafe and threatened. (This interaction is recorded on store cameras.) Afterwards, I felt unwelcome and retreated to the dressing room. My bridesmaid spoke with Anne, who admitted she advised against sizing down based on her training and expressed regret for the outcome. After calling customer service and speaking to Maggie, the agreement was for my dress to be sent to Houston, to be altered to the CORRECT SIZE and sent back no later than 01/13/24. Fast forward to 01/13/24 - when I was told my dress would be back in Georgia after the CORRECT ALTERATIONS were made - I was told the dress was not on the way and should be back in ATL by 01/20/24. Resulting in my mother having to change her flight again to ensure she was present at this fitting. The dress is in....time to try it on....IT STILL HAS SOME IMPERFECTIONS....My straps are still too big and not staying up even after being remeasured on 12/3/24. My mother asked for some kind of financial compensation, being that this has been a very long unpleasant experience and Maggie continuously put her on a waiting/I will call you back game to only come back and say she ISN'T giving any compensation. She could have said 5% but she was very rude, started to say that I was not measured and never requested for my dress to be a size 44 (which can be heard in the video), and was extremely unhelpful. All in all if you want a pleasant experience, I would not go here. The dresses are OVERPRICED, they do NOT follow-through on their word, and even after being measured your dress will NOT FIT even after being measured twice, on two separate days. read more

Falling in-love with one of the high costing ones, but then falling in-love also with one under my price range. Anslee was my stylist and I promised her I'd write a review, as after our second appointment she blew me away and even had me tearing up as I said "Yes" to the dress of my dreams. A beautiful lace trumpet strapless... I couldn't be more then happy with how the appointment went! No champagne to toast, but a cute sign and bell to ring; I would suggest champagne though- haha! Be sure to stress your budget, ask for style suggestions for your curves/body type, and if purchasing same day then offer a 10% discount for those brides on a budget! 70% down, if opting for payment plans. My stylist was the incredible Anslee! I went to my first appointment, shared my ideas and what I was looking for. Anslee pulled three-four options and all were fabulous! The second dress i tried on I thought i have found the dress. i made my second appointment and found an even better option. Anslee and I both saw the dress and we both thought/agreed it was THE dress. After two appointments and five dresses later I found my wedding dress and it's absolutely stunning! Anslee was the best, her vibe and personality instantly connected with mine i highly recommend asking for her. The other ladies were just as amazing they were big supporters throughout the process. My dresses total before alterations was $2,200 (which i thought would be more) and it will be arriving in March. I cannot thank Anslee enough for making my wedding dress dreams come true. read more

I definitely would not recommend this place. The staff was nice but I paid $4,000 for my wedding dress and an extra $500 to add 4 inches to the length ( I'm 5'10 without heels and my now husband is 6'8... I wanted a long dress and to wear heels) It took 12 weeks to come in which is totally understandable but when it came in , the extra length was not added. The staff was super friendly and expedited it back to Houston with THREE weeks until my wedding date . It came back the same week of my wedding and still didn't have the length added. I just got my wedding pictures back yesterday and I looked like an idiot. I even bought shoes with like 1/2 inch heel in hopes that it would help not be so noticeable. They also forgot to order my veil ... twice. So they gave me the floor sample. I literally had a sample veil on my head... :-/ I changed the second our ceremony was over into a white dress I got from Dillards for $68. Overall, it was massively stressful and just unnecessary... especially for such a huge monumental day. read more

My experience along with finding a wedding gown/dress and saying yes to it the same day all happened within 90minutes of me walking in the store. I wasn't instantly greeted, I just walked up to desk and introduced myself. I had a few of my close friends who are apart of my wedding with me to share the moment. We were informed by the the nice young lady working at the desk to walk around and start seeing what I would like until the stylist was ready. After 10 minutes or so we were greeted by Anslee, she brought us over to the seating area where she began asking/assessing my style and honing on what I would like. I loved that she was in-tuned and wrote down key things she heard me say. I didn't want flashy, bejeweled, or over the top lacing . And I especially didn't want white. My fiancé and I theme is industrial boho. So more neutral colors and a lot of dark brown with emerald green going on. So the color that I wanted at first was beige or tan. Anslee quickly gathered 5-6 gowns and had me meet her in the back. The first dress I tried on brought tears to my eyes because it was what I asked however I felt as if it was missing something even though it was my favorite. The 3rd dress I fell in love with however there was 1 more to try on and I wanted to be be completely sure that I've exhausted my options. Once I tried on the last dress I just knew that THAT was THEEE dress! It was everything and more and I became overwhelmed with joy and happiness that this process went very smooth and easy. So I would like to shout out to Anslee once again for her professionalism and kind/patient demeanor during my appointment. The gown was everything and more what I was looking for! thank you! Side note: I also received a 10%discount and was able to put down 60% upfront. My wedding isn't until September 2024 but I'm glad I was able to do this now because of how long it will take for gown to be made and shipped. I should get it late July, early August of 2023. Jasmine was amazing and sold me the most perfect dress for my big day. And you know she must have been good at her job because I had already purchased a gown from Bridals by Lori - but I fell in LOVE with the one that Jasmine showed me and was hooked. When Bridals by Lori neglected to even call me to let me know my gown was in, I knew I made the right choice with Impression. I went to my first fitting and met with Petal - a delightful and talented seamstress who had me in and out of my gown in about 10 minutes and knew EXACTLY what I needed. I was buying an as-is, discontinued, sample gown and I was worried that the little imperfections were not reparable. But Petal assured me that my gown would be spectacular on my wedding day and she did not disappoint. She fixed EVERY single thing and when I saw my pictures I noticed that the alterations were done so flawlessly that the bottom of my gown created a little platform that covered my shoes and feet - which was perfect because I had ditched my gorgeous high heels for some sparkly flat sandals after standing in the heels for about 15 minutes. I am very pleased to say I said yes to the dress at Impression Bridal! My wedding came quick after our engagement so my only options were to buy off the rack and I was well aware of it. I had spent hours looking online at other places but Impression had my heart with their online presentation. Anslee was there to provide the dresses I got to try on. She was very patient and kind and so complimenting when each dress was on. Each dress was beautiful but the last one was it! Ladies, this was my ONLY stop for my wedding dress! The final dress had a beautiful bodice with a mesh fabric and built in bra cups. She zipped it up and it was made for me! I am a petite build but this dress was like a glove on my body. All I needed to do was hem the length which they provide on site alterations. Her boss was able to give me a huge discount for buying off the rack as well as buying a veil to go with it. DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS FROM IMPRESSION BRIDAL!!! absolutely horrible experience!!!! it started off well with finding the dress i fell in love with. Told me i would get my dress on sept 15. sept 16, still haven't received a call about the dress so i called them and they said there a "delay" and will be here sept 29th. no call on 29th so i called them oct 1, spoke to the manager and say there was delay with manufacturing and corporate says it'll be here Oct 15. no call oct 15, called the manager and she states it should be getting to corporate that day and they'll over night but we wouldn't receive it til 3 days later... that's not what overnighting means. All this time i'm stressed that i will not have a dress for my wedding that's on nov 21st because of the time it will take for alterations and such. I finally get the dress 4 weeks before my wedding and come to find out that that fedex lost my initial dress and no one communicated that to me. Not to mention it's in horrible condition to which i pointed out to the manager. with such a huge delay, the manager told me to go to a specific seamtress that they send their customers to since the store seamtress is out. I contact the seamtress and she tell me i was right about everything that's wrong with the dress, the neckline is jagged, linings we're sewn incorrectly to obvious crinkles, folds in the dress, and sew lines were not straight. I contacted corporate as the manager recommended and they told me they can't do anything about it because it has left the store. I explain the time crunch they have put me in meant i needed to get the dress to a seamtress asap to even have a dress in time and i pointed out the flaws in the dress before i left the storeroom the manager, and kelly form corporate decides that the seamstress that the store told me to go could have done something to the dress. Save yourself the money, stress, tears, and sanity. Do not recommend! The lack of communications and dishonesty is so upsetting. I wouldn't want any bride to go through what i went through. read more

I struggled to find the perfect dress. I tried several places before I found Impression. Heidi was so great. She helped me to find the right style and was able to custom order a back for the dress that really made it unique. When the dress came in, there were some unexpected concerns. The back was a difference color than I thought it was going to be (ivory not nude mesh) and the buttons were not staying closed. I convinced myself that the color was probably for the best because of the way it matched up with the rest of the dress. The buttons were taken care of by Petal, in alterations, free of charge. The manager was very supportive during this process. Petal did a few alterations to make my dress fit perfectly. She scheduled three fittings and made extra time in her schedule for me. Really this place goes above and beyond in all departments to keep brides happy. read more

I am very pleased with my experience at this store. After visiting some of the larger chain bridal stores (like David's Bridal), I felt very pressured and rushed. This store was very different. I walked into the store without an appointment. Though I wasn't able to try on any dresses during my first visit, I was able to browse, and the stylist put some dresses aside for me to try on when I returned for my appointment in 2 days. My stylist, Heidi, was very knowledgeable and experienced. She gave me great advice about fit and alterations. She helped me get in and out of the dresses and helped me zip them since I was shopping alone. Excellent customer service! I was also pleased that the store allows you to make simple changes to the dresses when you order, i.e. adding or removing sleeves, adding or removing straps. And make sure you check out the "discontinued" section in the back. There are styles that the store is phasing out that are offered at 10-70% off and sold as is. read more

She made little to no attempt to make suggestions or seem interested in what I wanted. I looked for something else and scheduled a same day appointment. They got back to me very quickly. I visited in February 2016 to buy my wedding dress. The service was top notch. My consultant (Jeanette I think?) was super friendly, very knowledgeable about their inventory, and showed me an amazing array of dresses that all flattered. I found my dress and purchased that day. I was told it would take about 3 months after I ordered it to come in, and it took much longer, but my wedding wasn't for over a year, so I wasn't super concerned. When I came in for my viewing, again I received great customer service. The girls were all super friendly and helpful. I decided to use their seamstress, Miss Annie. I didn't have to get my first fitting until January 2017, and she was really efficient, and again, super nice. My dress was ready for my final fitting within 2 weeks, and I'm so happy with the results. Fits like a glove. The whole process was really easy, I felt taken care of the whole time. Abby was my consultant and she was amazing. After signing in Abby sat me down to go over what type of styles I was looking for. The dresses she pulled were amazing! This was my first and only bridal store I had to visit. The dress I chose was only sold at this location. (Trust me I tried to find it somewhere else and failed). They do have exclusive designs and they also offer payment plans and discounts when you purchase at the time of you consultation. And no need to sweat ladies, they offer in-house alterations as well! I've been shopping through 3 states for a wedding dress for my daughter. 3 states and countless dresses. We showed up about 15 minutes early for our appointment and they were ready. Initially, I wasn't very impressed by Impressions. Just another dress shop. Not really fancy, not lower class. Somewhere in the middle. However, what did really impress me was Heidi. She was knowledgeable, helpful, intuitive but most of all, not pushy. She understood that we had a decision to make and didn't put any additional pressure for it to be her. She wanted to know about the venue and the weather at the time of the wedding trying to assist is in making the best decision. For her, it was about making the best decision and not being a used car salesman (no offense to used car salesmen) and trying to make us buy the most expensive dress from her. Their prices were very reasonable and parking was fine. Not sure if we're going with the dress from there but it's definitely a contender! read more

My sister and I were very skeptical about this place and just came because it was so close to our house, but to our surprise we found my current front runner dress here! Do not let your first impression dismay you - for whatever reason they have the tackiest dresses in the windows and on the mannequins, I don't know why. You and your consultant will sift through mounds of bedazzled and bejeweled prom dress style gowns (they have a lot of dresses here), BUT this store has many diamonds in the rough (including a Roberto Cavalli hand beaded dress for $5,000!). My consultant, Hailey, was awesome. I told her what I had in mind and she walked right over to the dress that may end up being "the one". She pulled many other pretty dresses and I don't think a single one was over $1,000. They also have a large selection of mother of the bride dresses. Again, most are bejeweled to the max, but you can find some really good ones too. If you don't mind the hunt for a diamond in the rough (or just really like bedazzled princess ball gowns), definitely come to Impression! read more

I visited Impression today after two co workers told me they had purchases dresses there. One for a mother of the bride and the other a prom dress. I made the appointment for a Saturday morning and they were very pleasant on the phone. The day of we had a great experience. I am a size 16 so I was seriously afraid of not finding any dresses that would look good on me.. and man.. I was wrong. They have a great selection of dresses. Especially for a girl who loves bling or lace. Everything was really gorgeous. The girl who helped me was a lot of fun and made me feel extremely comfortable. Checked out their destination wedding dress (which they kind of hide in the back) and had multiple options. First time I went the associate was in the dressing room with me, helping me into every dress. She was very nice and had great ideas making me feel very comfortable. I have huge hips and many dresses didn't seem to work. Even though I knew I didn't want a veil she encouraged me to try different accessories. I can not say enought good things about Impression Bridal!. I had the pleasure of being helped by the Manager Ally and consultant Christina. 1. They have an incredible selection of dresses to chose from. The have everything from simple lace to glamorous beaded gowns in evey price point. 2. Unlike most bridals salons they have samples in a range of sizes. So you don't have to try on gowns that are five sizes to big or small. Most salons carry size 10 or 12, so for my petite ladies or curvy girls you can find something in your size so you have the most releastic image of how you would look. 3. Price Point is great , I been searching for gowns for six months and looked in NYC , Long Island , and Atlanta and in regards to quality and selection they have the best prices. You can find a beutfiul gown here from $1,000 - $2,000 with no sacrifice for quality and Style. 4. Great Customer Service . The staff is friendly and The manager Ally was very accomadating to me. Yes I purchased my dream dress with them even though she did not have a sample in stock she was accomadating , she gave me the most competitive price almost $500 less than a NY bridal salon. We had the worst experience with this store and staff. I paid in full for two bridesmaids dresses for my daughters last December. They did not order the dresses until late January and claimed it was some computer glitch but I was later told the former manager dropped the ball. Mistakes happen so I let that go as long as they were willing to get the dresses in on a "rush" order at no extra charge. I was told all alterations needed would be comped. The dresses were to be in by April 1. The dresses didn't come in until mid May. When they arrived one of the dresses was the wrong size and they refused to comp the alterations as promised. I had to spend over $250 extra to have the dress altered because there was no time to re-order. The staff took no responsibility and were rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend using this location unless you want to work with inexperienced, rude people who don't take responsibility. read more

Went in to shop for bridesmaids dresses and had a pretty bad experience... no one helped us at all. They just walked us in and then basically told us to have at it. My friend who is the bride sat outside while I put the dresses on and said that the person who finally came over to talk to us simply did not seem interested at all and even showed her sass when talking about dress choices... we won't be getting a dress from here. read more

Having had a terrible experience at another bridal salon, I was not too thrilled about going shopping again. My sister secretly got me here and Im glad she did. The consultant Kristen was AMAZING! She made me feel comfortable and she made it fun for my sister. She put me in the dress of my dreams and I and I recently received a personalized note card from her in the mail! This place will not be where my DIL is buying her dress. The experience was by far the worst and the sales girl acted as though it was an inconvenience for me to ask or say anything about the dresses. She even cut me off a couple times and had a red "actual" face. She asked when the mother was going to be there and treated me as if I wasn't going to have a say in the process. I was asked to go by my future DIL and will be purchasing most of the wedding attire and venue. I have another daughter in law and went to the store with her, this was where the dress was purchased the first time. You shouldn't assume that because someone isn't your mom that they have another one who should be there instead of the MIL. The sales girl had no desire to help the process be amazing but had her eyes set on a sale of a dress. She didn't listen to us and cut us off to push her agenda. This place is dirty and they do not care about your special day. Spend more and go to someone who treats you with respect! read more

Being recently engaged and starting the process to find "the dress" my first stop was at Impression Bridal store after meeting Sharon at a bridal show. I visited Impression later that week with my mother and 2 of my bridesmaids and worked with Kylie who was amazing. I had no idea what kind of dress looked nice on me nor what my preference was and Kylie took charge and started pulling dresses based on my body type along with the help of my guests and the first dress I tried on ended up being THE ONE! I definitely recommend all bride to be's to make this their store. Kylie personally helped me get into each and every dress, listened to what I liked and didn't like and brought dresses to try on that fit my description.
