After I finished putting my pants on, I looked out of the restroom and saw a group of about seven people, including workers, quickly walking away and laughing. I was extremely embarrassed and in shock, which made it difficult for me to remember their faces. No one involved waited outside the restroom, tried to find me afterward, apologized, or took responsibility. When I explained what happened to another employee, she apologized on their behalf but said she did not know who did it. I appreciated her apology, but the situation left me feeling exposed, humiliated, and unsafe. I left without purchasing anything because I could no longer enjoy the experience.

I scheduled a day of wedding dress appointments and this was by FAR my best experience. As soon as my group arrived, Audrey offered us all water, explained her plan and the process for finding the perfect dress, and then we jumped right in. I had a dream dress in mind when I walked in the door, so we started with that one, followed by a few others I had in mind. Audrey listened to all of my critiques and concerns and pulled dresses she thought I might like. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the entirety of the appointment. I ended up returning to the store later that day for measurements and ordering. Audrey was thorough in explaining the timeline for my dress (how long it would take to be made, when I would receive it, etc) and helpful in answering all of my questions. When I initially scheduled this appointment, I was a little intimidated by the Bridal Guide the shop emails you, but this was nothing short of a wonderful experience and I'm so happy I was able to support this business. You must go to Lovely Bride Atlanta!!!! From the people to the shop to the inventory, the experience is unparalleled. Michaela made me feel comfortable and heard. Her thorough questions about my wedding day vision helped me to describe what I was looking for. Sarah was amazing! She greeted my mother and I at the door with a warm welcome and it continued throughout our appointment. I LOVED my experience at Lovely Bride. Their space is gorgeous, bright, and fun and my mom and I had the whole place to ourselves. Cait was amazing - she's kind, genuinely listened to what I was saying, and never pressured me to try a different style or commit to a gown on the spot. It honestly felt like a friend I've known for years was helping me try on dresses! I'm very picky, but Cait never made me feel like I had to compromise on my vision. Where do I even begin? From the moment I walked through the doors I felt so welcomed. We had the whole place to ourselves so it felt very intimate and real. Susan, the manager, helped me maneuver through my first bridal appointment with so much ease. She pulled just the right dresses, and listened to my wants and needs. Like every bride, wedding dress shopping with their mother is special. My experience was special to me because my mother raised me, her only child, on her own after my father passed away suddenly less than 2 years after they were married. I wore one of his old sweaters to the appointment to have a piece of him there. I tried on a few dresses-- some looked good, some looked less than good on me. Erica was honest and fun the entire time. When the dress styles that I thought would look great on me didn't, Erica recommended dresses that pushed me "out of the box". Then I put on "the dress"-- the dress that I wasn't supposed to find that weekend. Its a custom dress-- my favorite characteristics of 2 different dresses into 1! My mother balled. And even Erica cried! (She told me that she'd been working for almost 20 years in bridal dress fashion and never once cried!) It was a special and touching moment! I felt like a bride-- I looked great and I know my fiancee is going die when he sees me in it coming down the aisle. The entire Winnie Couture experience was great-- since I said "yes, to the dress" I've returned for my fitting and a dress reveal with my best friends/bridesmaids. The staff is so nice and they go above and beyond to make you feel special. Erica truly made my experience fun and memorable! She knows her stuff! She also has a great heart and vibrant spirit.

There wasn't an appointment in progress and wasn't one for a few hours so they helped me out and it was a fantastic experience. I tried on almost everything I wanted to. But that's was luck. Otherwise I would say this location is pretty small and a bit loud due to its proximity to the Anthro store and their fitting rooms (it is inside of the store and located sort of in front of the fitting rooms). You will be changing the the Anthro fitting rooms, there's not a separate area for brides. It also seems smaller than other locations (I've been to one other in NYC a few years prior to my engagement season) so they have less stock on hand to see in person than what other locations may have. I think your experience can vary so much here based on who your stylist is and how busy Anthro is which.

The dresses that Ruby had available in her shop were beautiful and helpful so my sister could point out what she did and didn't like. Ruby kept my sister informed all along the way and would fit her in for additional fittings. My sister ended up with the (non-strapless!) dress of her dreams: it fit perfectly and suited her personality. After all, it was made for her! My mom's search for a dress was even more difficult. When she finally found one she liked, she was so upset to see that it had been ordered in the wrong size (she needed a petite). She brought the dress in to Ruby and she was able to work her magic and make it look perfect. The dress was very detailed with lots of ruching and Ruby managed to pull it all together in very little time. She also did some small alterations on my maid of honor dress and created a sash for me to wear. All of her work was beautiful and she couldn't have been nicer. I know that I'll have an equally difficult time finding the dress of my dreams, so it's nice to know that Ruby is there if and when I need her!
