If you want to shop for high price point wedding gowns while having the experience of shopping in Target, Lovely Bride is your stop. I was very excited to see LB, and had even traveled from out of state back home to ATL for a visit here. They carry designers like Newhite and Sarah Seven that are clean and modern, which is what brought me in. When I got to the front door, it was so disgustingly dirty and the overhead lighting that harsh, bright white LED that I completely lost any desire to go in. But in I went, and the experience matched my first impression. The sales girl was sweet and laid back, but didn't offer to take pictures of the one dress I did like. The accessories looked and felt cheap. I could abide the experience if the gowns had a $1000-$1500 price point, but their dresses are not that. Ashley was hands down the most personable, supportive, and encouraging person I could have asked for to help me find my dress. Lovely Bride Atlanta is amazing! Susan was so welcoming and accommodating as I found my perfect dress. I love so many styles, that I was "everywhere" with my preferences. She was incredibly patient and helpful as I narrowed down my search and eventually found the perfect gown. My favorite things about Lovely Bride were: 1. The privacy. We were the only ones in the shop both times I went (to shop then 6 months later to pick up my gown). Shopping can be stressful but her spotless, well lit, and quiet shop was perfect for an anxious bride. 2. The minimalist style of the shop. The shop was brightly painted in white and light pink, and it went perfectly for such a feminine activity. The dresses aren't stuffed onto the racks, causing untidiness and an eyesore. It really set the stress-free mood. 3. Many options! Though the racks aren't bulging with dresses, there were somehow TONS of options for every kind of bride. Lovely Bridal may be a chain but the Atlanta location brings the small, unique boutique vibe out in droves. From the moment you walk through the door you feel not only special but that you are in very capable hands. The shop is full of the best designers and the most intricately beautiful gowns. I worked with the Manager of the Atlanta location, Cait Madden. She was so kind and listened to all of the different styles I loved and was able to find the most beautiful dresses for me to try on! I found THE ONE with her help and she even helped me to rush the order at the last minute to get my dress in time for my last minute elopement. I can't say enough good things about my experience at lovely bride. I was honestly dreading dress shopping as my curvy friends have told me it can be a nightmare. This was the first place I went and I was really really nervous. Sara was amazing and put up with my uncertain demeanor while making helpful suggestions. I had a crew with me, and they were all offered drinks and given the opportunity to look at all the dresses I liked with me. We never felt pressured to buy anything. Sara actually picked out a dress I wasn't sure about, but decided to give it a shot. I went to several other shops, both larger and more of a boutique setting, and I kept thinking about that dress. They let me come back without an appointment, to squeeze in between other appointments and check it out one last time. It was the dress! Parking on the side of the building, I drove by it at first but circled around and it was easy. They promptly asked me for my license plate info for and got that squared away. Last thing I wanted to mention- on our way out they offered to take a picture of my niece in a veil so she got to play dress up. I was so impressed how Susan took the time to visit my wedding website and also get to know my wedding venue and style before hand! She had also set aside the dresses I was interested in that I had seen online. She was also so accommodating to me, my mom, future mother in law and friend! We had the whole store to ourselves. I didn't try out a dress, but I went with my cousins to look. The person we worked with (Sarah) was very nice and welcoming. She really listened to the bride on what she wanted, and even added 'wild card' dresses that we all ended up really liking. We did not leave with a dress, but she wasn't pushy about it, gave us the dress info and told the bride to sleep on it. She made great suggestions, was friendly, and actually listens to not only bride but bride party. I would recommend this place. Just be aware that this is a specific style dress store, it's not like big bridal stores that have a gazillion styles. I was kind of disappointed we didn't get to look at the dresses and pick any out. We got champagne (not that much; our appt was 11:30a, but I guess we could've asked for me if we wanted).The design and layout of the store is very calming and aesthetically pleasing. read more

Susan was amazing! We drove from Knoxville to go to her shop. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. When trying on dresses a few sizes smaller than what I needed, she showed us where everything would line up in my size. I think trying to imagine what it would look like in the right size is the hardest part of wedding dress shopping but she made it easier. I also loved the belt she styled with my dress. I had a wonderful experience at Lovely Bride Atlanta yesterday! I've tried on dresses at several other shops in Atlanta, and they just didn't have many options that were both modern and unique. The styles in Lovely were exactly what I had been looking for. Furthermore, Susan was by far my favorite consultant I've had in my search for the perfect dress. After describing my style and wedding venue to Susan, she ended up pulling a dress I had been secretly pining over online and it ended up being the one! She was extremely helpful when I was having a hard time deciding between two beautiful dresses, and I left feeling confident and overjoyed with my choice. The space is also so calming, aesthetically pleasing and clean. I appreciated that there weren't hundreds of dresses stuffed onto the racks (the selection is still more than adequate!).
