Impulse Karaoke is so much fun!!! We reserved a private room and all the waiters/waitresses were so friendly and helpful! They were also a lot of fun! I really like how the karaoke is set up through youtube so you can ultimately pick any song you'd like to sing! Never again... I went for a friend's born day in December. The karaoke room we had (I think it was number 8) had a pile of unsightly boxes, trash and mess outside the room that almost reached the ceiling. I don't want you bringing me food near what looks like an indoor dumpster. Then we get in the karaoke room. We asked for wipes. Ya'll know their karaoke rooms stay booked. So why is this room dusty? If it is dusty, this room is likely holding on to more than dust. c Next, the 3 folks who served us in that little karaoke room were nice. I guess...You aren't nice to me if you're coming in this little room, serving food AND NOT WEARING A MASK. I did not see ONE employee with a mask. Their vaccinations status ain't my business, but open displays of Covid precautions IS. Doesn't look like they feel the same way. It's the reassurances fuh me! We had an extra order brought to us by mistake. No one touched it cause we weren't gonna pay for it. Brace ya'self. I thought they'd leave it in the room and do whatever with it later. Often, once food is presented to someone in a restaurant, it is left there for the restaurant guest to eat or removed per request. Naw, Sis took it out. So... you just had an uncovered plate of food in here with us and your unmasked self? What is your plan for the lifespan of this plate? I surely don't know but I did wonder what they planned to do with that food. For me, now this is only for me, but at that point, it was contaminated. I pray they threw it out. There was also another reservation for the room 15 mins after hours. I'm wondering... so what do you plan to clean up or wipe off in 15 mins? Is that enough time? Ai Tunes is unlike any karaoke bar I've been to in Atlanta because outside the karaoke rooms, the place feels like a club/lounge. They have a full bar and food menu. You could technically come here and not even sing. Instead, you could have a meal, some drinks at the bar, or just hang out in the lounge. The bar, dining area, and lounge are lit by cool purple mood lighting. The decor is sleek and swanky with shiny black and red chairs, stylish couches, and plasma TVs. There's even a DJ booth. Each karaoke room can hold up to 20 people. You pay per room per hour (as opposed to per person). The rate is $20 per hour for up to 6 people. If you have 7 or more, the rate is $30 per hour. Generally speaking, these rates aren't too bad. If coming on the weekend, I recommend calling Ai Tunes and making a reservation. There's even a party room you can reserve. The rooms are pretty straightforward. Since Ai Tunes is relatively new, the couches, tables, and karaoke equipment (TV, touchscreens, microphones, etc.) are as well. I think the couches are very firm and comfortable here. Each room also has a few stools you can use as footrests or as a seat to use the touchscreen in the front. My only "gripes" with the rooms are there is no disco ball or strobe lighting, so the mood isn't as festive during the songs. Also, in between songs, the rooms can get awkwardly silent. I think this is because there is a longer delay/transition from one song to the next. Avoid Room 4, which is next to the restrooms. We got assigned to this room once and it smelled bad at times. As for the karaoke system itself, it can be frustrating to use if you want to sing Chinese songs. Only certain rooms have a Chinese karaoke system and you'll have to specifically request it. When you want to sing Chinese songs, you have to switch to a separate system, which means unplugging and replugging the mics, pressing a switch, and changing the input on the TV. Also, since it's a separate system, you can't queue songs from one system onto the other. So it's a pain to switch back and forth. You have to use the two systems exclusively. Also, the only way to select Chinese songs is to use the touchscreen that's mounted to the wall. There's no book of Chinese songs to browse. You have to do everything through the touchscreen. This means people can only browse through the artists and songs one person at a time, which makes it inconvenient. Of course, if you and your friends don't plan on singing any Chinese songs, then you don't have to worry about any of this. The regular system has plenty of English, Korean, and Japanese songs. I think there are other languages as well. To search for songs on the regular system, you can use the printed books or search on the karaoke TV screen itself by using the remote (this does not interfere with someone while he/she is singing -- the lyrics still show up at the bottom of the screen). In the books, you can only search for songs by title, and not by artist (boo). I think the song selection is equivalent to the selection at Happy Karaoke. Karaoke Melody still has the best song selection. As far as sound and picture quality goes, Ai Tunes is at the top. Voices over the mics come through crystal clear and the videos displayed on the TV screen are in high-def. Service-wise, Ai Tunes is impeccable. There is a switch you can flip in each room to call the employees if you need anything (assistance with the system, drinks, food, etc.). Sue and Tiffany are friendly and helpful. Sue is a sweetheart. If you have a large party, they can work with you to separate checks at the end. read more

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Impulse Lounge, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The poor customer service and the blatant disregard for honesty and integrity left a sour taste in my mouth. First and foremost, let's talk about the outrageous charges. I ordered a measly $5 worth of wings and a $5 drink, which should have been a simple and straightforward transaction. However, to my utter disbelief, I was charged for extra people who were not even present! When I politely brought this to the attention of the waitress, she flat out refused to correct the mistake, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. The waiter charged me $54 dollars and when asked about it she couldn't explain why. I only spent $12. To add insult to injury, we were made to wait for an excruciatingly long two hours for a room that we had reserved when arriving. Can you imagine the frustration of waiting for that long, only to be told that the room had been given away? It was not only an inconvenience but a clear display of incompetence on the part of the staff. It's unbelievable that they had the audacity to keep us waiting for so long, only to snatch away the room we had been promised. Sadly the whole staff was new. Because no one knew what they were doing and everybody had a different response Moreover, the attitude and rudeness displayed by the entire staff were appalling. From the moment we entered the lounge, we were met with dismissive glances and condescending remarks. It felt like we were bothering them by being there. The staff consistently lied to us throughout our visit, providing false information and giving empty promises that were never fulfilled. Their lack of honesty and integrity only further added to the disappointment and frustration we experienced. In conclusion, Impulse Lounge is a place to be avoided at all costs. The poor customer service, dishonest practices, rude staff, and consistent lies create an atmosphere of sheer disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and find an establishment that values its customers and provides a pleasant experience. Impulse Lounge has proven itself to be nothing short of a nightmare. This place is huge once you get inside. There is a huge private parking lot for the whole shopping complex it's located in. It was empty but it was a Friday night and they said they're busy day is really Saturday. They have karaoke (actually karaoke rooms), hookah, at least 2 bars, a pool table, a few slot machines, a lounge area, and a dance floor. The Lounge area is super comfortable with couches and chairs with tables. We did karaoke in a small room which was $20/hr. There were 2 mics and you can pick your songs through YouTube. We had a great waitress (Lea) who was awesome. There is a service switch so you don't have to go searching for help and she still came in regularly to check in on us. We ordered food, drinks, and hookah. The hookah was nice as they had the pods which are cool to smoke and last longer. So karaoke was super fun and I typically don't like it but this setup was great! For food, my fiends got a burger with fries, some type of cinnamon shot, and beer. We got 20 wings with fries (half sweet and spicy, and half hot), and a mango daqcuyri. The food and drinks came out relatively quickly. The food was Lounge food but good. The drinks were pretty strong too. The service from the waitress and hookah person were excellent! We didn't stay after karaoking for 2 hrs but we left around 11:45pm and it was still relatively dead but the DJ was playing really good music. This would be an ideal spot for a group event, bachelorette party, birthday party, etc. They have a really neat setup that allows for it to be intimate or not. The karaoke machine does not work correctly, the wifi was not working and we could jour even do karaoke. We had to turn our wifi hotspot because the crappy wifi was not working. Came here for a Halloween party. We got dressed up and met some friends for karaoke and fun. Our friend reserved a room for us, and that was pretty cool. Just chill and eat and drink and have the place to ourselves. My boyfriend and I did one karaoke song together, and you feel less self-conscious since it's just around friends. We ordered some wings and fries, but the food was terrible honestly. Service was good, but I was really bummed at how bad the food was. No wonder everyone there had leftovers...dang we didn't even need to order, could have just had theirs! After the reservation time, we went and hung out in the main area. They played some good music, and they had a pool table there that we used. I don't think this was a regulation pool table...seemed kinda small. But pool was free, and so was entry, although guys, get ready to get patted down. They have hookas there, and the drink I had was waaaayyy watered down. A friend of mine is a great vocalist who chose to do an album release here. It was intimate and fun. We had a private room 10. The sound was great with speakers in the walls in each corner. Overall it was a good time due to my company but very tacky to select karaoke songs via a computer keyboard and YouTube. Half the time we couldn't find the right tracks with lyrics. They have many food options but I chose the Colombian empanadas (chicken), it was disgusting. Idk what kind of mushed flavorless meat they use. No flavor. Not a decent amount of the "green salsa". I was starving and pushed through cause I paid for it. Parking is plenty. Bathrooms were clean. Affordable drinks. They say not smoking inside but the entire place is hookah. OMG!!! YESS!!! Ai Tunes is not just like other Asian Karaoke around the town. It is equipped with a nice bar with awesome bartenders and they seemed to have extensive drink menu. Also, you can get hookah as well! As you can see in the photos, this place outside the karaoke rooms is decorated like a club. There is also something very special about Ai Tune. The owner of Ai Tune, Martin knows how to treat his customers and makes sure that people have fun there. Seven of us were there and we all got free shots that prepared by the owner himself. I thought it was the sweetest thing!! Please, note that my friend complained that they have limited English songs. However, I highly recommend Ai Tune because of what they can offer. Great place! Went for a birthday party to do the karaoke rather than the lounge area. The drinks were strong I also enjoyed their happy hour prices. We bought about 4 bottles for $100 each which is great in comparison to most places. In terms of the karaoke they do not have a preset list of songs. It's more so you go through YouTube and find a song with lyrics and sing along.The food was not that good though, to me or the people in my party. But we still had a great time. If I were to make an improvement on this place I would have A preset list of songs for people to choose from, along with being able to choose from YouTube or other websites to sing from.
