I had a biopsy done by Dr Gesek on 2/1/24 this was the first time at this office. I'm only giving 1 star because it won't let me give zero! This whole office is a circus Dr Gesek has terrible bedside manners, he's rude to patients and staff seems like he's just mad at the world. The office itself is dirty and very old. I had to go back for a 2nd appointment to get my biopsy results on 2/20/24 the place was full of upset people who were in the waiting room well over and hour AFTER their scheduled appointments Before I leave I ask for a copy of my records and pathology report the woman tells me she can't give them to me I have to fill out a records release and give my email and she will email them to me within 72 hours. So I did that. I never received them so I called back on 2/26 and they tell me the woman who does them was on vacation but was back that day and I should have them by end of day. That didn't happen so I call back 2/29 and was told I would have them by the end of the day and that they let Ashley the office manager know as well. That didn't happen so I called back 3/4 was told I would have them by end of day... that didn't happen (shocking ) so I called again 3/6 and spoke with Asha (sp??) she was a complete rude nasty bi#*h I explained to her what has been going on and that I would wait on the phone and let them know when they were in my email she hung up on me. I called again today 3/11 and when they answered I asked to speak to the office manager and she said she was there and was going to transfer me then gets back on and ask for my name I tell her and she says I'll transfer you now ... and she sent me to her voicemail so I hung up then called back to the main number to see if I could talk to someone else and they wouldn't answer my call. This place is ridiculous and they are incompetent and dishonest beware of going here!! And for anyone who is having the same issues and being denied your records I was given this number 850-245-4339 to report them to the FL Dept of Health Consumer Services. Dr. Gesek removed my daughter's wisdom teeth; there were multiple issues. First, it's an surgical assembly line, he takes 20 minutes or less for the surgery, and was very rough with her. He did not write her pain prescription. She had complications later (increased swelling, unable to control the pain), so I tried for 7 days to get the office on the phone, leaving 8 voicemails and 5 texts. Absolutely nothing. After an excruciating week of watching my child cry in pain, I took her to the ER and discovered she had an infection and thrush. They had to give her multiple strong pain medications, 2 different kinds of antibiotics, and meds for the thrush. They were horrified at Dr. Gesek's work and patient care. His office is more than thrilled to take your money. Just pray you don't have any complications that necessitate aftercare, because it is non-existent. I strongly advise you to not trust this man with your or your loved ones' dental needs. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Imray. He was great with removing my son's wisdom teeth. I appreciate his follow up after the procedure. His office staff is very helpful. I don't recommend anyone going to this dental office. I had the most terrifying experience here. I had my wisdom teeth taken out, they didn't put me under. I asked to be put under it was $800 more he said he didn't have time for that "it's almost my lunch break we need to get this over with". I ended up only getting numbed and had laughing gas. I was crying the whole time he was banging my teeth out with a hammer like object while screaming at the nurses as I'm in the chair shaking. As soon as he got my teeth out he walked out for his lunch break. I got an ice pack and they sent me on my way. I never had a check up appointment and was vomiting the day of and a few days after. It's the most unorganized doctors office I have ever been to. The have horrible bed side manner. They have 3 offices I don't recommend any of them, because it's the same doctors! read more

Dr. Gesek performed my wisdom teeth extraction. He was extremely personable. His office staff was caring and friendly. I had a wonderful experience throughout the whole procedure and someone from the staff called to check on me after the procedure! Highly recommend! read more

I had to get four of my impacted wisdom teeth removed and the best team helped me with this problem. Before the surgery, I had a quick and easy check-up with the the oral surgeon and told me I had nothing to fear and easily explained the surgery process. The oral surgeon was amazing and he is smart because he asked me a random question to distract me as he placed an IV in my arm. Smart move. And his team was fantastic. They were all very kind and friendly. The business was also safe during these COVID times by checking my temperature before entering the operation room. My gums healed super quickly and my cheeks were barely swollen compared to my friends so I'm very lucky that I chose this location. read more

I recently had a teeth extraction of 7 teeth on the 1st of July it was my first surgery ever. When I went to my follow up appointment the following week I was then informed after the fact that I wouldn't be able to eat or talk normal again until the next 3 weeks. I'm not quite sure how they didnt feel the need to go ahead and disclose that information before the surgery was completed. In the line of work that I do it requires me to talk very frequently. If been aware of this information before I would of made sure I worked with my employer to get the neccessary paperwork filed out with them before hand. Since then I sent over documents to the office to have filled out on Friday the 10th and I was advised to allow 3-5 days for completion which is fine. I called spoke with a Julian on Monday requested for the information to be expedited due to being time sensitive she stated they will attempt to do so but not a guarantee which is also fine. I called several times throughout the week to check on my information I was requesting I spoke with Julian again, an Ashley and Jennifer all insured me what I was needing will be completed. I call again on Thursday and spoke with someone by the name of Joy she then indicates that the doctor is not in the Park street location which is the one I went to for the surgery. That he was at the Orange Park location and he will be back in the office on Friday which is today. I requested for call back 3 times thus far and was told by Joy that I would receive one back from the office manager Brittany today and I would even receive my paperwork. I still haven't received any of that back. I'm not quite sure what the issue maybe with the doctor simply filling out paperwork of the information he informed me of in our last appointment and his staff follow up with patients. Based off this recent experience I'm not quite sure if I want to return to this Doctor again for my next surgery based off how everything has been handled thus far. I attempted to call the office back again since they close at 2pm on Friday's and the rep answers the phone and then hangs up and I called them at 1:40pm they were still open. Each time I tried to call again they gave the the automatic message stating they where closed. Honestly they called me constantly more before my surgery to be able to collect payment. After I made the payment a few days before the surgery, on the day of surgery they asked again for payment when I even have a receipt confirmation of payment. But now I'm needing them to do something for me to provide to my employer I can't even get that. It's ridiculous if that this is how the staff treats the patient. I visited this office for the first time. To be honest, I got a bad vibe as soon as I walked in. But, when the man behind the window, opened it. He was nice and respectful! When the assistant walked me and my daughter back. It felt like she had an attitude. Then we meet Dr. Gesek. He was very unprofessional, rude, and nonchalant. He act like he didn't have time to explain to me about my daughter treatment. When I wasn't sure and wanted to ask him a question. He entered the room and said yeah. That's how you talk to someone who's trying to do business with you? So I took it as if he didn't want to be bothered with us. Which is fine with me. So, I asked if we could see another doctor from his office. He said if he doesn't do it, you can find another practice. Well, I found another practice! I don't want a bad negative spirit like him working on my daughter's mouth. I would rather pay out of pocket before going back there. The only reason I'm giving him a 1, is because I had no choice. Dr. Gesek just in case you didn't know there are more oral surgeon around town. That are more updated, with classy and respectful people. The office is outdated. Looks like it got lost in the 80's... Last thing, before you try to be rude to others. Try going on a diet first. You will live longer! read more
