The person taking the order was so inept and rude I just said never mind and in tears, hung up. Then, after gathering myself I tried again and got the same person. Never again. Apparently the new owner does not adhere to the attention to detail that the original owner insisted upon. I ordered flowers online to be delivered to a party, and they were not delivered. When I called, the Arlington store said they would only be able to issue a refund for the delivery charge, not for the flowers. I had to call corporate to get a full refund. Buyer beware. read more

Because it is seldom that we receive excellent service, I am rating In Bloom Flowers with 5 stars, even though my order was not filled correctly. Romona took time with me and was very helpful in getting my order processed. I received a confirmation email. However, it did not arrive the way in which we had discussed. Upon calling her back, the matter was taken care of immediately and to my satisfaction. I believe this was a mistake that is not their norm. Searched online from San Antonio for an Arlington-area florist when I found out about a visitation service scheduled for that day. I called the shop at 1 pm on Saturday only HOPING that they would be able to deliver something on short notice for the service that started at 5 pm same day. The person on the phone was SO friendly and helpful and reassuring. I wasn't sure which location of the funeral home the service would be held, and she said she would find out and take care of it. We discussed both plant and cut flower options, and she suggested ways to make the arrangement really special for the family. She spelled out all names and confirmed the order to be sure all was correct. The plant was delivered to the funeral home in less than two hours, and the family said it was beautiful. There was a mishap on my order, no one called or notified me as I was told if I didn't make it to pick up on time they would call. I lost track of time and showed up at 6:07 as they closed at 6 on Friday. I couldn't pick up as I flew out on Saturday out of town and couldn't pick up and then being closed on Sundays. Anyways, I showed up realizing I messed up on my part being late and a nice employee who was leaving came up to me and I explained that I was def late but she offered to go get my order. Which I was extremely grateful. Turns out it was never put together or boxed up etc. Now I'm no Karen/Kyle, sh*t happens and people get very busy especially with Mother's Day. What I am about is how the situation is handled. She finally found my order because I didn't have my receipt and kindly told me that she was sorry about the mishap and was boxing up my order for me. Simple stated, do not use In Bloom. I ordered an "In Bloom Exclusive" arrangement for Mother's Day to be delivered to my wife's office. The Amazing Gazers arrangement arrived at her office and appeared nothing like the image on their site. What the website fails to describe, and I later learned when I returned it to their Arlington store, is that it is a "one-sided arrangement". What this means, and should be accurately detailed when you order, is that approximately 1/3 of the arrangement is "filler" and is meant to face a wall. While my wife was appreciative of my thoughtfulness, she was embarrassed by the appearance of the sparse arrangement and even had a chuckle with some of her coworkers about it. This most disappointing aspect of this transaction was the inability of In Bloom to right their wrong. While their customer service representative promptly answered my emails, she refused to budge on the company policy of only providing a replacement. Thank you, but you've already ruined one special moment and forced me to replace a $50+ arrangement out of my own pocket. Why would I want to take another chance on your product that has already forced me into an embarrassing situation? Lesson learned, next time I will grab an arrangement at Central Market, Tom Thumb or one of those roadside vendors. At least then I will know what I am paying for! read more

This is the second time I've shopped at In Bloom. Both times were to buy a corsage for my girlfriend for prom and both times I was impressed with the result and the quality of work. In addition, my girlfriend has also bought both of my boutonnieres here and I thought they were really nice. Ordered a few flowers to make my own centerpieces. Tried to go the cheap route and get them at a grocery store first but all told me I couldn't order (unless large orders), you are just at the mercy of what's available on that day. So decided to visit a florist and went to In Bloom, as soon as I walked in was amazed by all the beautiful flowers and arrangements. The hydrangeas were twice the size of those at the grocery store. I knew I was in the right spot! The staff was so helpful in helping me pick out what I was looking for. Was able to place my order to pickup the day I needed them. Of course it is pricier than grocery store florist but trust me, it's worth it. The most gorgeous, full, healthy hydrangeas ever! Went in looking for white but fell in love with these green ones. Also ordered some seeded eucalyptus for cake decor and when I pickedup was not happy with the color, the staff helped me find something else that would work. read more
