I have purchased flowers from these folks for years and always had a positive experience. Today however was different. I called at 1:00pm, ON VALENTINE'S DAY, and asked if they could deliver a special bouquet by 6:00pm (my wife said "no way that is gonna happen"). This for the pre-funeral visitation of a long-time close family friend that really mattered to my family and I told the customer service lady, Kelly, so. She told me basically that all the flowers in the Metroplex were already committed but that they would try and I figured oh well that was worth a shot. Then I receive a call at about 5:00pm that the flowers had been delivered. My brother who made it to the visitation texted me a picture of the flowers and they looked far prettier than the catalog picture. Now folks, that is the essence of customer service. I think you really take a chance ordering flowers online, long-distance. You look at the beautiful pictures, and you hope for the best. Yet when someone you love is in the hospital far, far away, and there's precious little you can do except send her something pretty in a vase, you don't have a lot of options. I came to Yelp late one night to find an Arlington florist, and In Bloom had one measly review. Fortunately, it was a four-star review. I went to its website, poked around from my Utah couch for something bright & cheery and not too spendy, clickety-click, PayPal, done, say another prayer for my dear, ill friend. Then it's the weekend and my friend has scary surgery, ICU, more prayers, and I get a call on Monday from In Bloom saying they can't deliver the flowers until she's out of ICU (hospital policy--of course! contamination and all that), and they will keep checking until they can deliver them. They didn't have to notify me, but they did, and I appreciate it. It did not even occur to me when I ordered the flowers that she would not be able to receive them (she wasn't in ICU when I ordered them, but she was the next day), and they let me know quickly. I was worried that the bouquet would be half-dead when she'd finally be able to get them, but she posted a picture of herself and the flowers on her Facebook page (yay! she's recovering enough to be on Facebook!!!), and they're fresh and gorgeous, and she loves them!! Also, the arrangement that she received was even prettier, fresher, and fuller than the "sample" arrangement on the website. Too often, it's the opposite--the one delivered is only half as lovely as what you see online. Oh, and the delivery fee seemed pretty reasonable, too. Long story longer, I hope I never, ever have to order flowers to be delivered to a hospital in Arlington, Texas, again, but if I do, I know which florist to use. And now everybody else knows which one to use, too, and not just for hospital patients. read more

These ladies were super helpful and my flowers turned out GREAT!!!! I gave 4 stars only for the fact that I was told I was getting a dozen and a half rose bouquet and ended up with only a dozen. They were BIGGER flowers than what they were doing to use so I am still ok with it! Just wish I knew about the change that's all! read more

My sister and I took my 9 year old granddaughter to pick out an arrangement for my mothers casket. When the lady ask if she could help us I explained to her hat my granddaughter was very close to my mom and she would be picking the arrangement. Much to my surprise she treated my granddaughter as if she were the one making all the decisions and paying. She never once acted as if she were dealing with a child, nor look to me or my sister for approval. This made my granddaughter feel as if she were doing one last special thing for her great grandmother. The arrangement was beautiful and reasonably priced! Very happy with the whole transaction. In Bloom made a fresh and beautiful arrangement with everything I asked for. I wanted to see it before the delivery and they were happy to text me the picture of my order right before it went out. I love that they emailed me to let me know that it was received as well. I'm pretty picky as I worked for a florist in the past. The web-site is great if you need ideas and they are happy to change things up upon request. We have done business with InBloom for years because they create beautiful arrangements. I have also recommended them to friends from out of town who want to send flowers to someone in the DFW area. This week a relative from out of town tried to send me flowers from InBloom. The flowers were ordered on a Wednesday and expected to be delivered on Thursday. Late on Thursday I received a call from the shop advising that they had attempted to deliver the flowers but did not have the gate code to get into our subdivision and, therefore, did not deliver (I subsequently learned from the sender that the gate code had been provided). I provided the gate code and was advised that they would be delivered the following day. There is a way to call our home from the entrance of the subdivision and obtain entry without the gate code. On Friday at 5:00 PM I called to ensure that the delivery was going to be made. I was advised that it would be. At 6:30 PM the florist called and stated that they had been unable to deliver again because they did not have the code. The florist obviously had my home phone number because they called me twice. I don't know why the delivery driver could not have called and asked for the code. Another florist came to my home on Friday, they did not have the gate code, they called my home from the gate, and I was able to give them the code so they could enter. I do not recommend InBloom for delivery service. read more

I immediately received an order confirmation, and I also received a delivery confirmation :) The arrangement was delivered when I requested , and the flowers were exactly what I asked for. In Bloom Flowers was a TOTAL disappointment. I was desperate to send an arrangement to a friend that had lost her mother. I was calling from out of state and asked for help with my order. The woman I spoke with was extremely impatient and rude. I spent $122.00 on an embarrassing, pathetic arrangement. The ceramic angel placed in the very small planter was very strange. I shared my unhappiness, as requested, to this "florist" and received no response. Beware, and call someone else. read more

I had gotten my prom corsage and boutonnières 2 years in a row from In bloom and the people were friendly and the flowers were beautiful. So, my fiancé and I Went here over 2 months ago for a wedding consultation. The lady was not friendly at all. You could tell she did not want to be there. I don't know if it's because my fiancé and I are young or if she was just having a bad day. My fiancé said she made a face when we said our budget which was actually pretty high for what we wanted. She also said we would have to get fake flowers if we wanted the very common pink color we wanted. I went to a different place and they said that was really weird and they definitely could do the color i wanted in real flowers. The lady said we would receive an estimate in an email within a week and it's been 2 months and I have received NOTHING. I do not recommend this place at all. It makes me very sad that we were treated this way just because we are young. We've dealt with plenty of vendors who have all taken us seriously. So we took our business elsewhere! read more

me and girlfriend celebrated 10 years together and I wanted to suprised her, so I sent her flowers and choclate to her work. Katt was help me on the phone and she was really helpfull (not even one bad word to say about her). the flowers was ok and arrived at time but the choclates didnt. I was really disaponted and called them. Katt answer me and told me that she will send the choclates soon, and its arrived couple of hours later. in addition, they were very poor, and not tasty (acording to my girlfriend). Bad expirience, i woudn't recomend about this place, not cheap and not worth it. Look for somthing else! read more

I've had so many negative experiences ordering flowers online that I hesitate to do so, but sometimes there's no other alternative. I took a chance on In Bloom and I'm so glad I did. I needed same day delivery for my mother who was in the hospital, but was afraid it might be a little too late in the day. I searched In Bloom's website and found a beautiful arrangement in the right price range, so I placed the order. Almost immediately I received an email confirmation of my order. Just over 2 hours later I received a second email that the delivery was complete. Within 10 minutes I received a text with a picture from my mother saying the flowers were beautiful. And they were! My mom previously owned a floral shop, so she knows a quality arrangement when she sees one and she's quick to hold a floral shop accountable for shortcomings. No need for that here.
