What a BEAUTIFUL day. My husband and I booked their 4pm bike tour & our guide Faz really held it down. He was super informative about Dallas history, stopped at all the most picturesque places and knew just the right tunes to play. When I booked the tour I wasn't aware that the World Cup would be in Dallas, so we had to take detours around some places due to high traffic. However, it was really cool to see what looked like the entire country of Argentina hanging out at Klyde Warren Park. We got to hear their beautiful chant & even almost got to see Messi. If the daytime tour was this much fun I could only imagine what the vibe would be like at night. This was so much fun for both my husband and I who are currently out of towners. We're looking to move to the DFW area, and this was the perfect little tour to show us some of the hot spots downtown, and give a little history. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we felt very well taken care of and the staff were all so kind. Cody and Michael were our guides on our tour, and they were both very professional as well as personable, which we really appreciated. Even in the thick of the crazy Dallas hustle and bustle, we always felt safe and they made sure we were all taken care of. 100% recommend giving this tour a try, it is well worth the money, and we'd love to come back and give the nighttime tour a try. Hiiiiighly suggest wearing sunscreen, as we didn't and were crispy little lobsters by the end (no fault of ICW, obviously, just a heads up). If I had to give critique, all I would say is I'd love a tour that had a few more stops going over the history of some of the buildings, as I found that stuff the most interesting. I personally would have liked to have spent more time seeing the architecture and art around the area, more so than having the time at the farmers market. But I'm also fully aware that some would disagree with that statement lol. To each their own Regardless, this was a blast, and we loved it. Where do I start, I guess I will start with my other half and I were originally planning to go back to the fair again however, we looked on our app for things to do and we both found it in City Wheels. They had a very intriguing offer and we wanted to kind of see the area since we were visiting from out of state. So we decided to book a time to see if we could see more great sights in Dallas. So we arrived and there were two gentlemen inside waiting for us. They showed us how to complete the waiver and upload the driver's license so we could get started. So when they received everything we were paired up with Cody, he asked if I had ever ridden a bike before and I told him no but I do own a Harley and I feel that it can't be harder than that. So Cody got us helmets and asked which bikes we wanted to use, and when we picked one he asked if we wanted to try it and we said yes. We rode the bike down the street and back and felt comfortable with it so we came back and sat for a few minutes. He wanted to give those arriving late a chance to make it before we took off for the tour. So they were on foot and Cody knew they would make it late so we took off on the tour. Cody made sure we understood his hand signals so we wouldn't have any issues while following him and we took off. Cody was very thorough with his tour made sure we made stops often, took photos of us when we requested, and was overall very helpful. This was honestly something that really made the rest of our day very enjoyable. I appreciate Cody, and Zariah was very helpful when we got back after we finished our tour, thank you all for making our day one to remember. read more

We took the Dallas daytime guided tour for 2 hours. This tour is for licensed drivers. We have e-biked in many locations all over the country but in a city was a first. In my opinion, I now can say that I think this activity is not meant for downtown Dallas. The rider cannot enjoy the area because they are preoccupied with staying safe. The bikes were basic & only 1 of 10 in our group had a review view mirror & it was barely functional. Some did not have working alert bells. We did get to see some areas of Dallas that I had never visited; however, the tour did not point out very much history, architecture, or parks. read more

Let me start by saying that it is a decent establishment, which can familiarize you with areas in Dallas; however, below are the things that need to be improved: 1. Beeping fire alarm in the waiting area -- had hard time figuring out why the batteries couldn't be replaced or why they didn't shut off the thing completely. 2. Mortal Kombat 1 Music on PS5 was like a broken record on the background -- if you're familiar with how PS5 works, imagine hearing the music over and over again when it's set on the game's icon in the main menu (see image attached). 3. Waiver didn't come through -- never were told why only 1 waiver came through instead of 2 even though we filled out both ahead. 4. Skipped lunch, because falsely told via text ahead of reservation time that we needed to show up 20 minutes prior to reservation (see image attached) -- instead we started the tour at least 15 mins past the reservation, and it was not a 2-hour as advertised or we missed some stops to stay on their schedule. 5. There are no paper towels in the restroom -- just toilet paper, there's not even a designated area for it as in they couldn't just run out of it. All in all, I was hooked on their 5-star overall Google rating, but the complete experience definitely didn't seem like it; the good thing that some might also find is that they don't check the driver's license as advised in their text. read more

My friend and I went for my birthday and we got the 1hr tour. They gave us a bit to make sure we could drive the bikes then set us on our way! They gave us a good place we could stop and relax partway through which was nice, but I wish they had pointed out more things we could stop and see since I didn't really know my way around Dallas. They're about 7-10 minutes away from all the cool stuff, so I wish they gave a little extra time since we had to spend 20 minutes going there & back. This was extremely cool. It was probably the most fun I've had in a while. I felt so free with the wind against my face seeing Dallas up close. We traveled around the city during the evening, and it was so beautiful. The guys were also really cool. They made sure everyone was good and even played some music for us. This was a great experience from start to finish and I highly recommend it! We rented the electric bikes over the scooters (the scooters look like motorcycles, but we really enjoyed the Jump bikes when our city had them so we opted for the more bike-like experience) and the manager/owner gave us the rules for the tour and a rundown of how to mount/dismount and took us on a test ride to make sure we were comfortable. He was really funny and personable and made what could've been a rather mundane task, entertaining and informative at the same time. Example: he was explaining if you break with one hand instead of both, you will tumble off the bike and the bike will tumble over you and all he can do for you at that point is hold up a 10/10. After out initial test drive, our tour guide took over for the duration of our ride and we got to riding and it ended up being just shy of 8 miles total (~2 hours). It was filled with a lot of great information about the history and culture of the city and our tour guide did everything he could to ensure we were having a great time, had plenty of photo opportunities and explained the different parts of Dallas (similar to NYC, Dallas has a lot of sections to it like Uptown and Deep Ellum that meant nothing to me when I arrived, but I left with a working knowledge of where each was as we road thru them and a little bit about each. It was also cool having everyone stop us and ask us where we rented the bikes from. It's crazy that people there don't know about this little gem! The only thing I could've done without is the music on the tour - they have a bluetooth speaker they attach to the guide's bike and they blast it as you ride around and yes, it's music you request so that aspect is fine. But when I visit places, I like to be low-key -- in other words, I don't like to scream I'm a tourist. Beyond that, the music was also, at times, vulgar. So you're riding by businesses and places where people are working (like the employees at the AT&T performing arts center or actual AT&T) or walking around in suits in some of the more upscale, business-centric districts, blasting music laced with obscenities and it feels awkward, bordering on cringe-worthy. And I also felt like if our tour guide is going to be stopping and talking frequently, do we really need the music? read more
