We were fortunate there was no cloud cover! You could see for miles from the Ball's point of view at 470 feet up. The Reunion Tower itself is a 561 ft observation tower in Dallas, and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. We spent about 30 min checking out the views and eventually made our way back down the elevator. Overall, it was a nice experience! But for the price we paid, I did expect a bit more! Side note: Remember to download your free group picture at the kiosk before you leave!

The Tower looked like a lollipop and was only 20 mins walk from our hotel. At one point we found ourselves on the train tracks and could see the Tower but couldn't quite see how to get there as there was no signage or directions. Eventually, we had to walk around and go under a bridge to get to the other side and walked towards the Tower. Even the entrance had no signage. It did have the name of the restaurant Crown Block and also Hyatt Hotel but nothing about the Tower. Anyway, we walked in and went downstairs. Tickets were $19 and can be bought from the kiosks. As we walked to the line, you get to have your photo taken with a green screen. There are props you can use on the right counter if needed. In the elevator you can see outside as you are going up. I just wished the glass was facing the city instead of Trinity river and the two Margaret sister bridges. You can see all the freeways overlapping like spaghetti. At the top, there is a little area with a few tables and chairs. I guess you can bring a lunch or snack whilst enjoying the views. The restrooms are really clean up there. Outside, there are telescopes available and info about the skyline. However, it was awfully windy and cold in January. The staff were really friendly and helpful with any questions you have. We found out the photos taken earlier, could be viewed at the kiosks by scanning the barcode on your ticket. They email the photos to you for free or you can buy a physical copy from them. Overall, it was a nice visit. Have to say, there were hardly any people around. I guess it was off peak tourist season, so it was nice not having the crowds and long lines.

The garden in the spring is beautiful with the flowers in bloom. You really feel like you are in nature with all the different plants, trees, trails, a creek, wooden bridge, wild flowers, and serenity. This time I avoided the parking fee by parking in a free lot at SMU and walking 10 minutes to the Bush Center. Overall, the gardens are a gem in Dallas. They are completely free and in some ways just as nice as the Arboretum, just smaller.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this library but boy was I impressed. I don't think any other presidential library could have the impact this one had on me, mainly in fact to 9/11. Second to being at ground zero seeing it from the Presidential library will leave you needing Kleenex or fanning away the tears as I attempted to do. It was truly something to see some of the items I'd only seen in media coverage up close and personal. You will have chills down your spine. There really are no words for this part of the museum but of course several other much lighter areas, filled with joyful memorabilia. I loved the pets area and the Oval Office replication. The baseball display, eggs from Easter rolls, his bible, menus, gowns, and many other items were highlights of mine from our visit. This is a fantastic library, and I'd highly recommend a visit. I love that it's on SMU's gorgeous campus. I'm also pleased I was able to purchase a 2025 White House ornament to add to my White House Christmas ornament collection. A truly great Dallas museum to visit.

What a fabulous find!!! This review is long overdue. I've heard of this small business tour company…read more3 years ago, when I took my very first tour with them on my very first trip to Texas! My first tour was with Rebecca to the AT&T Stadium back in 2022. LOVED it, and I made a vow to take more tours with Discover Dallas Tours, in a year or few when I came back for another visit. Fast forward to now..... I decided to book the following tours with them: The Stockyards/Fort Worth. The Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas. Dallas Highlights/JFK combo tour. Southfork Ranch. All were phenomenal! But my personal favorite is the Fort Worth/Stockyards tour. I had the pleasure of touring with Rebecca for Southfork Ranch only. She is a wealth of history and information. You need recommendations for anything Texas, ask Rebecca! LOVE her!!! The other tours were with Erin. I adore Erin! She took her time with questions and was super patient and kind and informative, extremely helpful for visitors, like myself who wanted a true Texas experience! She's an asset to Discover Dallas Tours! These experiences were not cheap, but I learned a great deal from them, and I am addicted to their tours. Check out their website and see for yourself, what they offer, and what a variety of experiences you can get a chance to discover. When you take a tour from them, I promise you that you'll have a great time and create lasting wonderful memories of Texas! Trust me when I say it's worth every penny! Check them out, if you want a chance to see what Texas is all about! Highly recommended! Book ahead, and enjoy your time in Texas with Discover Dallas Tours! Thank you, Rebecca and Erin! I've learned a great deal! I'll be back again next year for more tours! I'm addicted! Until next time......

Better late than never! I booked this fantastic tour with Discover Dallas Tours back in October,…read morebut this review is long overdue. My mom, who lives in France, came to visit me and my family in California for a few weeks. Before she flew back home, I wanted to create a special memory together. So, I surprised her with a weekend getaway to Dallas! We had a blast exploring the JFK Museum and the Fort Worth Stockyards, but the highlight of the trip was definitely our visit to Southfork Ranch. After researching several tour companies, I decided Discover Dallas Tours was the perfect fit. This family-run company stood out because Rebecca, the owner, personally called me after I inquired online. Even though the website didn't show availability, Rebecca was able to organize the perfect private tour of Southfork Ranch for us. She confirmed everything clearly via email and text message, including pick-up details and timings. Importantly, they are the only private tour company authorized by the owners of Southfork Ranch, making the experience even more special. The price was absolutely worth it. Erin, our guide (Rebecca's daughter), picked us up at our downtown hotel in a comfortable black SUV and drove us to the ranch. During the ride, Erin shared interesting facts about Dallas, the history of Texas, cowboys, the Fort Worth Stockyards and Longhorns. She even stopped at the Southfork Ranch gate for memorable photos before we arrived. Since my mom doesn't speak English, Erin found a comfortable and quiet spot for us to sit and provided detailed information about the ranch and the show. Erin was very patient, giving me plenty of time to translate everything for my mom. Her stories were captivating, and it brought back so many memories for both of us - we used to watch the show together every week back in France! The tour included a visit to the on-site museum at Southfork Ranch, where we saw photographs, magazine and newspaper clippings, props used in the show, and the famous gun used in the episode "Who shot JR?". We also walked around the house, saw the swimming pool, and the table outside where the family had breakfast. For fans of the original series, it's interesting to know that the interiors you see on screen were actually sets, while the exteriors were filmed on location at the ranch! Erin explained why the interiors weren't filmed at the ranch (you'll need to take the tour to hear the full story). The second series and more recent ones used the ranch's interior for filming. Erin was fantastic throughout the tour - friendly, patient, and attentive. She even took some great pictures of my mom and me. It was a perfect day for us. Thank you to both Erin and Rebecca! Overall, this tour was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend Discover Dallas Tours to anyone visiting the Dallas area.
